I think one of the single biggest fears people have when their AC stops working is being told "It needs to be replaced" (even if it doesn't). Thankfully, I have found Dukes of Air to be consistently honest, thorough, and fair.

Our air handler had been rattling for a few days and then suddenly stopped. All things considered, I could have been easily duped into an unnecessary replacement. Thankfully the tech who showed up (Justin) was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. The issue turned out to be a broken fan assembly. He was able to quickly provide the necessary part and have us back to a cold house much more quickly than expected.

You are a wonderful company and Ricky A has knowledge, skill and integrity! I don’t usually leave reviews but Dukes of Air obliterated my bleak expectations. I was depressed from one price quote of $15k to replace my “fried” system. Not only was the faulty part easily replaced (Ricky had the part with him), it was covered by warranty. 30 minutes later, my hot September in Arizona home was already cooling down nicely! $15k was $300 in the end! I highly recommend Dukes of Air! Thank you!!!

We had our swamp cooler serviced as we like to use it when it gets under 95 degrees since it cools the house down so much more than our AC does.
Michael was on time, thorough, and professional. He gave us a detailed step by step update of what he did as part of the seasonal inspection as well as answered any questions we had.
We use Dukes for our AC services also.

Having been a Dukes of Air customer for a few years for services, including a new unit from them, I also signed up for 3 year maintenance plans on both of my AC units and on the plumbing system. So far, I've not experienced excessive (or aggressive) upsells on things that weren't needed. I feel like the techs have been honest and that they aren't motivated by padding their work; a rarity in today's service ecosystem.

I have a maintenance agreement that I had on my previous house. Dukes of Air seamlessly transferred the remaining service to the new house. They've always been honest and up front about anything they've found. Highly recommended!

Awesome service! Pamela on the phone gave me the full breakdown saving me a large amount of time. Korbin (HVAC) and Ray (plumbing) were punctual, professional, straight to the point and answered all of my questions about the system in my new location. Great tech and great experience!

We’ve been using this company for years. One reason being and most importantly they don’t try to rip you off. We had Ace come out and he’s the best. Arizona Dukes of Air have been phenomenal over the last couple of years using their services. We just had a warranty repair done and from start to finish their communication on setting up the appointment, the estimated time of arrival, the explanation of the work done, and the completion invoices emailed were all exemplary! Andre our latest tech was so friendly and willing to answer questions! I’ll keep working with them since the service is top notch compared to other over priced big names out there.

Ray did a great job of cleaning the branch line of the drain to get us up and going. Took the time to discuss the options and pricing. Not a fan of reviews but Andre was amazing. It's really rare that you find someone who is willing to care about a stranger but, he was willing to give wholehearted advice. The work was thorough and the report he made on my HVAC system saved me a future headache. The receptionist lady is pretty chill and fun to talk to too (customer service at these types of places are usually annoying but, yeah I've had nothing but good experiences with the company so far).

My AC was not doing the heating. I called AZ Dukes of Air as they installed my AC unit 6 year back. The repair technician was very gentle and nice guy. He did the diagnostic ($89) and then gave me estimate of parts/repair together. Trusting them from previous work, I did not do my homework. The repair work was done - replacing Bi-metal Thermo disk and technician took like 30 min to do the work. I paid $315. Just being curious, I checked the parts price at amazon and it is in the range of $16-$30 for two. I was just shocked that they charged roughly $300 for labor for a 30 min job. While asked for parts/labor breakdown, I was denied any details which also questions their transparency. The justified saying " the total reflects not only the physical part used, but also the technician's time, expertise, tools/materials, with the repair". What type of an answer is this? Just thought to share this for future potential customers. Do your homework and ask for clarity before you sign up with them for repair work.

I called Dukes of Air the day before thanksgiving to repair my water heater and they scheduled me a few hours later. Angel the tech saw the problem immediately. It had an electrical problem. He worked to get my labor fee reduced since it was a new unit and that was nice of him and Dukes of Air to save us a lot of $$$! Angel worked carefully, skillfully and courteously. After a couple of hours to make a complete change of unit, we have hot water! I am glad to be a customer of Dukes of Air and to have Angel as our plumbing tech. I highly recommend them!

I had two brand new HVACs installed in the month of Aug and i chose Dukes of Air due to reviews reflecting high customer satisfaction. The initial cost estimate visit was carried out by highly knowledgeable and professional reps. But the installation was executed by new/poorly trained technicians. There were issues during the installation process where one of the two hvac units was not turning on. Later in the month of November, the heating unit was not turning on so i had to call for a revisit. I was irked with the customer service rep stated that i would be charged $80 for the visit unless it was proved that the issue was installation caused. The technician that made the visit, upon questioning of root cause, stated that the issue was caused due to "reverse polarity"...meaning the install guys connected the wires backwards. I spent over $20K for the two units...and it is amazing that this company received the high ratings it has considering the poor service i have received. Please consider alternative vendors is my honest advise.

We had Raymond "Ray" stop by, this guy is awesome. He was the person who stopped by last year to help us and again, did a great job. He helps us and shows us how to maintain our system and what to keep an eye on between visits. Over all this man does his job above and beyond and is easy to talk with, he will give an honest response which is refreshing. Thanks again.

I am consistently impressed with this company. We used them to install a new AC unit. They were extremely prompt, professional, and thorough. We’ve had two small issues with the unit since then (not their fault at all) and they’ve come out to fix it Same-day (even on a weekend!) free of charge!!! We also had them install a new RO system. Everyone we have encountered from this company is kind, prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. Pricing seems fair compared to most companies, but customer service is above and beyond.

I just completed my annual heating service with Orlando C. Orlando not only gave my system a clean bill of health, but he also informed me of some exciting ways to improve my system when the time is right. This was the second time the Orlando has been to my home to do maintenance and he's always welcome here. His demeanor is quite friendly yet never unprofessional. His knowledge of heating and cooling systems is impressive (to me, anyway!) Thanks, Orlando!

My wife and I found ourselves in a frustrating situation with a newly installed Trane furnace that didn't work. We had no heat! The installer was not helpful and proposed a solution that left us without heat for 8 weeks. I decided to get a second opinion. I am SO happy I called Arizona's Dukes of Air & Plumbing! Enter Ace, HVAC Service Technician from Arizona's Dukes of Air & Plumbing. He came that bery day, as scheduled. Ace listened to what was going on with the furnace, the history of the unit and what we were told was the required fix. Ace went up to the garage attic, diagnosed the issue, determined the solution and took some pictures. He came down and spoke to us explaining both the problem and his solution. Ace showed us pictures of the parts that he was talking about so we had a better understanding of the issues. We really appreciate Ace taking time to explain the issues. He was able to schedule a time the very next day and he implemented his solution. We now have HEAT! I'm so impressed with Ace's knowledge, professionalism, and demeanor! He was able to solve our frustrations and build trust quickly! Thank you Arizona's Dukes of Air and Thank you Ace!!

These guys are awesome. Always friendly and right on time. They do a great job of keeping you updated before they show up. Ace was a pleasure to meet and did a thorough job of explaining the situation. He was super friendly and met me with a handshake upon arrival and departure. Highly recommend Dukes of Air!
