Excellent job all around! Jesus explained what was to be done then thoroughly checked all systems within heating and cooling. He then provided photos of each part of our system as they were worked on. There was no guessing or wondering what was done. Additionally, we added two parts to our unit that were missing and swapped out incorrect amperage fuses. All in all outstanding job! We recommend Perfect Star for maintenance or installation!!

The Perfect Star Heating, Cooling and Electrical team did a great job in installing our new HVAC and new water heater. The team worked very hard to take out the old systems and install the new ones. Everyone helped but I have to say a particular thank you to Anthony Montoya for his extra patience and throughness in explaining things to me as well as his expertise, and Jesus Garcia for his knowledge base and cheerful professionalism. The entire process took a whole day, because the team was so exacting in wanting to make sure everything was done correctly. And, indeed it was a superb installation. Moreover the systems worked splendidly today and the HVAC system turns on automatically with its Lennox S40 smart thermostat controls. Nice!! I can easily tell that the team had quite a bit of experience before my job and for that I am grateful. It's a big investment to replace your HVAC and water heater, but the Perfect Star team rose to the occasion splendidly. Only part left is to get the city permit approval completed which should be forthcoming in a few days as Perfect Star takes care of that also.

Anthony from Perfect Star was a great technician today! He was early to the appointment, was polite and friendly, and was able to complete our service in a timely manner. He was clear about how our system is working and was thorough in explaining what needed to be fixed and why. Really appreciate the job he did and all of the Perfect Star staff! Called on day of issue and was able to get somebody out in about two hours or so from my initial call. Devin the technician came out and assessed the situation, then found the issue and went over our options from start to finish very knowledgeable, professional and courteous we’ll be definitely using perfect star for all of our HVAC needs. Highly recommended!

On December of 2022. Big Air installed a furnace of the same make and similar model I had had for several years.

Less than a year later started having problems loosing the pilot light.

Today is the 8th service visit in five months for the same problem.

I have asked to speak with a manager but the standard response is always "Im sorry, they are in a meeting. I will send a message..."

I am so pleased with the quality and professionalism a big air. From inception to installation, my experience as a customer has been five stars. I originally called out the company to give me a bid to replace the original duct system of my house. And of course the original duct system also had asbestos that needed to be removed. Mike came out and gave me an incredible amount of information and advice that helped me make a decision on the spot. I already knew the big air had amazing neighborhood and Yelp reviews, and it was such a pleasant surprise to experience it personally. Mike gave me such an incredible deal I was also able to replace my 25 year old air conditioning system including a credit to integrate with my newly replaced furnace. Again to my surprise they were able to upgrade my air conditioner to a better model at the same price. I was taking a risk because it was November and I knew I was not going to be able to really test out that air conditioner for several months. However I was confident based on the service reviews that I had read that if there was going to be any issue the big air was going to take care of it immediately.

The team came in to remove the asbestos (different company, but well coordinated) and the next day big air came in to replace the ducts. The team was fast professional and considerate. There was a little hiccup because it was all supposed to be done in one day and initially they didn’t have enough members to be able to do the ducks and install the air conditioner, but they were able to fix it and I was able to get everything installed in one day which was frankly perfection.

Jump to six months later, now it’s April, and it’s getting warm and I want to use my air conditioner. We turn it on and there’s some issue and it stops working after 30 minutes. I called the company and they immediately send someone out, everything is under warranty so it’s no additional cost, and today Noah arrived to investigate and fix. As with all my experience with big air, Noah was friendly knowledgeable professional and fast. He diagnosed the issue and resolved it within an hour. Turns out some pipe was clogged with dust and the system was turning off for safety reasons. Everything was great with the air conditioner and the original installation and the safety measures were triggered appropriately which just added even more confidence.

I cannot think of any other experience that I’ve had with a vendor that has been five stars across-the-board from sales to installation, to product, to repair. The work is super high quality and the price can’t be beat. I would work with them again in a heartbeat and I’m looking forward to having them come out annually to maintain my HVAC system and keep it running smoothly for years to come.

I don't think I've ever worked with a more professional company for home repairs and installation. They did exactly what they said they would do. They were on time, thorough, and very good at what they do. The heating and cooling system they installed is fantastic. It needed some tweaking and they followed up with me and came and fixed the system's settings for free. Thank you Big Air Heating and Air Conditioning. Great job!

Always great to have work done by Big Air!! Even though I made an error and scheduled them to come out on the wrong day they reworked their schedule to accommodate me. Great customer service and top notch communication. Their technician (Ron) was professional and very easy to work with. I will definitely call them next time I need HVAC work done.

We needed a repair to our AC per a home inspection recommendation. Big Air was very responsive, completed the work in a very timely manner, and their rep Noah was professional and knowledgeable. Big Air was recommended to me, and I can confidently recommend them to anyone.

In 2019 I hired Big Air to install and HVAC system at my house. The experience was less than pleasant but I got the reference from my parents who used them 15 years ago and have not had any issues. I wrote it off as just a bad experience and was thankful for having AC. Today I hired them to do a check up and the tech Zachary was telling m I had problems with my unit and it would cost me an additional 600 to fix. I told him to complete the tune up and I’ll call the main office to verify my warranty. After three attempts the General Manager James called me back and commenced to tell a completely different story told to him by his tech than what actually happened. At least he said it would only cost ke an additional 1200 to fix. The warranty means nothing to this company and guaranteeing their work is not on their list of things to do. Unless you don’t mind spending 16,000 for a unit and future charges to fix what they installed incorrectly I would avoid this business. If you do choose to do business with them. Good luck.

This is the second time I’ve used Big Air. After 15 years the first AC system failed. The tech Francisco, James in sales and then the installer Hector were all great to work with. All explained everything about what was wrong and resolution options. I’m a fan, no pun intended.

True professionals, dependable, knowledgable and reasonably priced. I gifted my family a new HVAC system for Christmas but I live out of state. I looked on line, read reviews and a couple companies, Big Air included, had good reviews. I then asked a friend who lives in the area for a recommendation and coincidentally they recommended Big Air. So I called them. Super responsive. They were able to get out to the house the next day, give me an estimate and very promptly installed the entire system. Not only that, they were able to coordinate the asbestos abatement that was needed before install. Huge help to me. The follow-up has also been amazing. Honestly, I was dreading managing this project from out of state BUT Big Air made it so easy and communicated with me at each step. We will use them for all maintenance and repairs in the future.

I live in a 34 year old condo and the heater needs replacing as it sounds like a 747 jet flying through your space! This type of unit is no longer made; a few companies wanted to take my coat closet, others shrugged their shoulders and did not even provide a proposal. Anthony listened to what I did and did not want and asked his installers to come out to go through the existing system thoroughly in order to provide informed solutions. Anthony patiently explained how different systems work, and he thinks outside the box, coming up with a system that will not only work best for my space but be more energy efficient as well. I highly recommend Big Air Heating and Air Conditioning and look forward to my installation next week and to working with Anthony and the installers.

I needed to have two wall furnaces replaced. The two workers that came from Big Air were polite and professional. They wore booties and laid down thick tarp from door to wall furnace, including up the stairs, to protect my carpet. You can tell that they are happy working for this excellent company. They don't feel hurried and under pressure and, as a result, have time to do a top notch job. I recommend them highly for their excellent customer service and the high quality of their work. In my 30 years of living here in California, this is the best company I have ever had do work in my home!

Technician came in to resolve a heating issue. He told us the system was old, but confirmed it was working. Turns out it wasn’t. My fault for not requiring a demo. Called in the next day and was basically told (without speaking to technician) that they would not be coming back. Make sure you get a demo if you choose to use these guys.

Andreas was the utmost professional tech to work with. He was skilled, genuinely curious about solving my AC issue, arrived on time and was thoroughly pleasant to work with. I will use Big Air again and request Andreas! Thanks a bunch!

From the start, the Big Air team was professional, they understood our needs, made recommendations and the costs were affordable and reasonable. Ernesto and Ismael arrived on time and quickly set up their equipment and began to install my insulation. They were careful to protect my floors from any debris. In a short time they finished the installation and were off. I was very pleased with the whole process.
