Amazing service, great communication at an honest price. They bailed me out with an emergency mini split install when an old furnace failed. Did a great job fast. Will definitely be using them for all my HVAC needs in the future. Highly recommend.

Big Air delivered. From their sales rep, Matt, to the incredible quality technicians, my family and I are very happy. Between both technicians who had over 40 years experience combined with Matt’s sales HvAC experience of 22 years, that was worth the choice alone. We live in a small 1320 square foot home built in 1960 which had a 33 year old Trane AC/unit plus furnace. I had three companies make a bid. Big Air made it evident they wanted my business by great customer service follow up. Also they beat out the competition by $6-8K.

Goodman is owned by the largest HVAC company in the world, Daikin. Our home didn’t need the top of the line Carrier or Lennox when doing my homework online, Goodman was just as comparable in quality, performance and had similar reviews. It pays to do your homework.

I suggest everyone invest in the two stage systems for both furnace and AC. The humidity control for interior of your home environment will make a difference during the rainy season and these new hot humid days in Concord. The noise reduction is big too. My decibels have drop from 105 to 65 with my new AC unit and that is in the 2nd stage.

Big Air offers a 10 year labor warranty plus Goodman has a 10 year warranty on parts and more on their systems.

Prompt and thorough service with 20-minute pre-emptive phone call and text notification before arrival. Took pictures of all the issues of concern and quoted repair/maintenance costs associated with each issue. Professional and friendly service.

Very happy with Big Air. They are on top of their game from start to finish. They even went back and forth with the HOA to get full HVAC installation approved. Great prices, easy to communicate with, friendly staff, and clean install.

I was told the visit to fix my furnace would be $89. If new parts were needed- that would be an additional charge plus labor. The technician took his time diagnosing and then up charged me another $150 for extra time, totaling $240.

He recommended a new furnace at a cost of 19k.
Or at new inducer moter at $4200.

I decided to get second option from a trusted source who said nothing was wrong and recommended a new inducer motor at 2k.

Total rip off using these guys.

In mid-June my wife and I selected Big Air Heating and Air Conditioning to install an Air Conditioner and new Furnace. We made our selection based on their reviews. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. June 30 a crew of four showed up: Hector, Patrick, Andrew and Alex S. They did an outstanding job. They were on time, polite, courteous and respectful. They nailed the install and everything was good. See the results of their install, the lines thru the inside of the garage (my man cave). As I live in the man cave, I could not handle the black 3 and 1/2" line exposed. It was driving me up a wall, I could not sleep worrying about it and how it looked. The next morning I called Big Air and talked with my sales representative Tim. I told Tim how I felt about the line and I wished I had it run thru the attic. Tim said go enjoy your vacation, when you get back we'll re-run the line and it won't cost you thousands of dollars. Tim made good his word, discussed with management and promised a re-run of the line. August 1 Patrick returned with Alex Z. Again, they were on time, polite, courteous and respectful. They did EXACTLY what I wanted to PERFECTION, no questions asked. Patrick and Alex were AWESOME, you would be lucky and grateful if they showed up at your job. We had a very positive experience from the very beginning to the very end with Big Air. Prompt, educational, knowledgeable, pleasant, flexible, accommodating, wouldn’t give excuses/just wanted to resolve issues, quality product & people.no pushy sell. Highly recommend.

Flawless excellent service. We had two instant hot water heater units fully serviced (scale and flush). The technician Victor was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Big Air was running a special so the cost was very reasonable for what is a long job. We liked the technician so much and were so impressed that we will definitely be returning customers.

Big Air is absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and truly cared about getting the job done right. My AC went out during a heat wave, and they came out the same day to diagnose the problem. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly before starting any work.

The repair was quick, the price was fair, and my system has been running better than ever since. You can tell they take pride in their work and value their customers. I’ll definitely be calling Big Air for all my heating and cooling needs in the future. Highly recommend!

Fantastic company! Not only did they provide great, friendly customer service, they made space for questions from all family members. Also, they are very cat friendly. They answered questions on what would be best for their health and safety, a d they were able to work around relocating them from the cat designated sequestered rooms.

I have been a fan of SMART since moving into my home 3 years ago, when Mike helped us get our furnace working on the coldest night of that winter. This review is for the replacement of a 38-year-old furnace with a new high-efficiency furnace. It’s trivial to score a five when nothing goes wrong, you can get the equipment you expected, installed properly, on time, and no surprises. However, it’s when things don’t entirely go smoothly that you learn something about a company. I have a 1920s house with a narrow staircase, and large furnace installed in the attic, accessible through a small doorway. It is very difficult to maneuver anything large and heavy in it out of that doorway, and so I wasn’t completely surprised when walls and floors got scuffed, though I was disappointed. I mentioned this to Susie (Susie and Mike owned the company), and next day Mike came out with a tech to remedy every scratch and scuff with a smile, assuring me he holds his teams to a higher standard. He also took the time to review his Teams installation, crawling into the attic and onto the roof, ensuring the furnace is properly installed and in accordance with Alameda strict regulations. As a result, I’m feeling confident that the installation will pass inspection; and if it doesn’t, I know Mike and crew will quickly remedy any issues that might come up. So in the end, I got an excellent furnace, new ducting that has made a sizable difference to heat retention, and truly excellent service from start to finish by some genuine and friendly people. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Smart HVAC to friends and relatives.

Loving my new heating system couldn’t have picked a better company to do it for me they’re great the company was honest up front and answered all my questions and concerns I appreciated that.
