I would give them zero if I could. This is a mediocre plumbing company with an awful attitude and outrageous service fees. Just save your time and money and go use a more decent plumbing service.

Having a slab leak is a frustrating event and can turn your life upside down After experiencing our second slab leak we decided to re-pipe our home with PEX. We were going to go with another vendor who became non responsive. That was a blessing since we were introduced to Severson Repipe by our HOA.
There are a lot of great companies out there, but we have to say that Severson stands above the rest. From the initial visit to the last day they worked in our home, every member of their team was responsible, knowledgeable and respectful of our home.
We would recommend Severson to anyone considering a repipe with PEX.

Really great experience today with Ken and Robert. Super professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and timely! They arrived early after notify us they could make it sooner. Before he even started, Ken walked us through all possible financial impacts so we would be prepared for the worst. Luckily it was best case scenario but all the work was done well and I look forward to contacting them for future projects and needs!

Severson Plumbing is a trusted plumbing company that you can count on. They installed a water heater for my Laguna Niguel property in 2016 and they came back to perform a code correction noted on the property inspection report at no charge 6 years later because they wanted to stand behind their work. When I had a slab leak in my home, Severson Plumbing was quick to come out (same day), identify the leak, and recommend multiple repair options. Since we've experienced multiple pipe leaks in the past, we opted for a complete repipe of the home. They were able to get us on the schedule relatively quick, were clear and concise with regards to how we needed to be prepared, and came on time on the day of service with a crew of 6 that did a complete repipe job on a 3bed/3 bath house in about 9-10 hours. The very next day drywall repair came to patch and get the walls paint ready. Throughout the entire process they communicated clearly, set proper expectations, and consistently asked if I had any questions about anything. Everyone on their team was friendly and professional. I've used Severson Plumbing in the past for other jobs and will happily use them in the future. Highly recommended.

Disappointed

On 8/15/23, my neighbor came to my door with a technician from Severson because she was experiencing a leak in her garage ceiling that was coming from my unit above. The technician came to the conclusion that the leak was coming from a flange in the guest bathroom that needed to be replaced. I had the flange replaced that night at a cost of $325.

A week later, my neighbor texted me saying that the leak had returned. Another Severson technician came out and said they needed to do a leak search, but that the walls had to be tested for asbestos before they could cut into the walls to do the search. When I asked them about why the toilet flange I had replaced didn’t fix the problem, they claimed that this was a new leak, and not the same leak from the week before. Upon listening to my voice messages, a representative from Severson had left me a message saying that my neighbor called them and “was having the leak again.” Seems odd that a different leak would show up in the exact same place within one week. Own your mistakes.

Severson did not fix my leak problem, and I paid them $325 for unnecessary work. After having another contractor come in to assess the situation, they were able to determine that the source of the leak was coming from a totally different bathroom. Severson wasn’t even close.

I do not recommend Severson Plumbing.

I have been a Severson plumbing customer since I saw their truck at my next door neighbor’s home four year ago. They maintain my tankless water heater, which was serviced today. They have fixed poorly draining sinks, installed Toto Washlets, and repaired two toilets. They saw a hazard with my water connections to fixtures, apparently it could pop off and flood the house. They replaced them to a safer connector. I appreciate their team and how professional they are each step of the way, from appointment scheduling to letting me know when to expect the plumber, to the actual job. My plumber today was Jojo and I am impressed with his efficiency and skill. I feel safe knowing Severson is there for my family’s plumbing needs. And my other next door neighbor on the other side saw the truck in front of my house, now they use Severson too!!

I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for the wonderful experience. The lady on the phone + Evan and Nick made the bad news of roots in the main pipe swallowable, and the communication put us at ease. My wife was very happy with the work and our experience overall will lead us to recommending Severson Plumbing to all who ask. Thank you!

Removing an old dishwasher and installing a new one can be quite difficult sometimes, especially when there is a problem removing the old one.
But not so when you call Severson Plumbing that hire top-notch technicians/plumbers, such as Eddie Toledo. After analyzing the situation
Eddie was able to remove the old one and to continue with the installation of the new dishwasher. 👏 I can only praise and recommend this young man for a job well done. Thank you, Eddie, and thanks to Severson Plumbing, a company I trust.

Had "Mike" come to inspect a rotten smell. It was clearly the trash cans, but I didn't know. Mike decided to cut a hole in the ceiling of my neighbors garage ceiling. No smell because it was CLEARLY the neighbors trash can. "Mike" then charged me $125 after telling me it was my neighbor's trash cans smell seeping through my floors. Pretty shady way of making money imo. Can't trust anyone.

I have been a Severson customer for well over a decade. They have come to my rescue on many occasions. They have also resolved some complex plumbing issues all while attempting to be the least invasive to walls, etc.
Their latest visit was urgent as I noticed water soaked carpet in my home. They came out quickly, investigated, found a pin hole in a copper pipe, repaired it, and answered all my questions. Dylan and Josh serviced my home and were professional and very considerate. Ken Smith moved his crew's schedule around in order to accommodate my emergency. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Thank you Severson Plumbing. I always feel like I am in good hands with you.

A technician was dispatched within a couple of hours of my request. Eddie arrived and provided excellent service. He walked me through the complete process. The work was performed efficiently and the pricing was in accordance with the quote. The room was cleaned following the fix.

The team ( lead by Nick) did an exceptional job in rectifying a complex drainage system problem. Couldn't be more satisfied.

This is an overdue review for a job well done. We had our 2 story home in Mission Viejo re-piped and Jerry Iske and his crew did a great job In Oct of 2024. No problems and everything working fine. Don helped clean off my stereo equipment in the garage after it got coated with drywall dust as the guys forgot to cover it with plastic.
Great crew of guys completed in just 5 days. Highly recommended.

Hello prospective customers that want to deal with Severson Plumbing.
How would you feel to buy a toilet from Home Depot that you supplied to have them come out for $400 to install it
How would you feel if they didn’t tell you that we will install it but since you purchased it we won’t warranty any parts inside the toilet because I purchased it and not Severson Plumbing told to me by the owner, Kurt. Would you like to have been told that information first so you can hire a handyman to put it in for $100 rather than a $400 plumbing company?
How would you feel prospective client of Severson Plumbing for the owner, Kurt to tell you It’s a common problem that it’s a flapper issue with water going into the toilet

I had a main water leak this morning. Someone recommended Severson Plumbing to me. I called and the customer support person was super friendly and helpful. They said the could get someone out between 3 and 5. Great. A little afternoon they called and said the crew was running ahead of schedule and said they could be at my house in 30 minutes. Greater! The two guys that showed up were great. Super friendly and hardworking. They worked like crazy for a few hours. They checked their work to insure it was fixed. They returned all the dirt and grass to its rightful place. Then they cleaned up the whole are including the area around their truck. Greatest experience I’ve had with a plumbing company. Thank you Severson Plumbing I will definitely call you for any of my plumbing needs. Five Star Rating!!

I cannot say enough about how awesome this complany is. Ken manages an incredible team of plumbers. His own experience as a plumber is what makes his knowledge and leadership work so well. His team (Evan, Eddie and Carmen) were genuinely happy, it was so obvious. Their skils and knoweldge saved us thousands of dollars in repairs and they were quick to pivot when a problem presented itself in our very old home with it's very old plumbing. I would give them 10 stars if that was an option! Great choice if you need HONEST, RELIABLE plumbers.

I was originally referred to Severson Plumbing by a dear client of mine to repipe my home. They were so professional, diligent and clean that I started to use them for all of my plumbing needs both in my home and rental properties as well as referring them to my clients. Everyone thanks me for the referral and loves Severson Plumbing. They show up when promised, give honest diagnosis and solution options and the prices are fair for the quality of work and level of service.

Excellent service, consistently, with multiple clients, Severson is easily my go-to plumber. At a recent repair during an important meeting Christian managed the sink/faucet repairs so quietly, no one in the room noticed him! Not sure how he did that, then we found 2 more items while he was there, he was able to handle them easily on the spot, so appreciate the team!

These guys were amazing! I heard some noises coming from my plumbing (or so I thought) and Eddie and his partner came to help solve my mysterious problem. I thought it was my pressure regulator that was causing the problem (as another company told me it was bad) but Eddie showed me that the pressure regulator was just fine and there was no need to replace it. After educating me regarding future repairs, I asked how much the service was, and he said “no charge”…they are my new “go-to” plumbers. I wish every company operated like they do! Bravo! Highly recommend.. very honest.
