Very happy with our service! Alex D our technician came in, checked where he thought the problem could be, found it, sent my quote, I signed the quote and he went to work! He had the parts so it could be fixed same day! My AC was back on and working within an hour. Great service from the office and the tech. Next time we have any issues they will be our first call.

We were referred to Cronus because our furnace was not receiving any power. Alex D. came out promptly during the expected arrival window. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem and offer two options to fix the issue with transparent pricing and pros/cons on each issue. He finished the work in a timely manner and made sure to confirm that the fix had worked. I was impressed with the service provided by Cronus and Alex D. in particular and would definitely use them again!

These guys were professional and straight to the point. They let their work do the talking. Alex explained the whole water heater install estimate and project thoroughly. Ion (or Ivon) and Roman came out and did a remarkable job. When the county inspector came out even he was surprised and said “that’s clean work, they did a pretty good job”. Very happy with our rheem proterra heat pump water heater and the install.

Alex diagnosed my problem within about 20 minutes and knew exactly which parts had failed. He was able to come up with an estimate, install the parts, and verify that the system was working all in a couple hours. I now have my AC working again thanks to Alex. Worth every penny. Highly recommend!!

Mark Sanders, owner of A Five Star Heating and Air, installed both of our Trane AC units over 10 years ago. He provided excellent customer service then and still does today. Last Friday, during a heat wave, one of our units stopped working. I called Mark and LMTC. I received his call back at 9:30pm. He had just finished a 16 hour day but wanted to get back to me the same day. He said he could fit me in the next day. To me, this rapid response was totally unexpected. You can’t get a AC company to even respond to you during a heat wave for a couple of days. Mark arrived in the late afternoon and remembered doing the first install. He diagnosed the current problem as a failed capacitor and a burned out motor. He had all the parts on his truck and did the install. He is very knowledgeable guy and a pleasure to work with. Don’t waste your time looking for another AC company. Mark Sanders and A Five Star Heating and Air is the best there is. You won’t be disappointed.

Five Star was referred to me by my sister in law. I needed 2 thermostats changed (which by the way samples of the same are in the Smithsonian Museum). We had to get our AC replaced and they did an amazing job with replacing the whole system and keeping us updated with every step along the way and their process. They were on time, friendly and left our house cleaner than when they came! Great service!

Mark was really great! He came over the same day we called, fixed our AC unit which needed new blower motor and compressor capacitor. We were worried it was going to be a much larger project but he fixed what needed to be done and now it runs beautifully! He helped my husband by showing him how to clean and better maintain the unit. We will def use his services for future needs!

This place is Great. Mark does what he needs to quickly get you back up and running cold air here in Sac. We purchased a new AC unit from him a couple years ago and when it had problems he was here within the same day or next day to fix the problem. Very much appreciated. Better off with a small business rather than the large companies that don't provide excellent customer service. Mark is very accommodating to his customers and the prices are right. I have use FiveStar on more than one occasion for small jibs and large. They have always done excellent work and charged very fair prices. The young man that came out to work on our air conditioner told us his name was Mark. Mark was very polite and professional and completed the job in one day. We've had Five Star come out to check on various HVAC issues we've had, and it's always been a pleasant experience. Mark is a great guy, very knowledgeable, and gives great advice on how you should service your system. We've gotten quotes/suggestions from another company, and they were always over-the-top when suggesting repairs, both pricing and scope of the project. Mark has always been extremely fair with pricing, and doesn't try to bloat the project with extra work that won't actually benefit you. We highly recommend A Five Star if you need any HVAC work.
