Great company! I am in a rental unit, but they treated us like we were a top priority when our air went out! Turned out the unit was old, I mean, OLD...so once he had approval they were there the very next day installing a new heating and air unit with thermostat. They were friendly and quick, and even vacuumed when they were done. Highly recommend!!!

I had 2 air conditioning companies come out. I have a commercial building and they couldn’t figure it. Luckily A five Starr Hearing & Air figured it out and fixed it within one hour, amazing! Mark is amazing. This is the 3rd time I have relied on Mark to fix my AC. First time in my old condo, 2nd time in my other condo, and now my house. A Five Star Air Heating & Cooling helped us get our older AC back up and running. Their service was beyond what we were expecting. They were super fast and efficient and made sure to show us the process along the way being very thorough as they went. They even got back in touch the following day to make sure everything was working good and checked out some extra things that may help our older system work even better than it had been. Honest service company. Unheard of, I know. No sales technique, all business. I had a problem, Mark diagnosed the problem, and then fixed the problem. All transparent. In fact, he asks the resident to stand and watch while he works. I will recommend him to anyone that asks. Did I mention honest service company?

Finally a link that means I don't need to call yet. I do need your help but I have phone issues. I have a broken ac unit. we kept it alive the last 3 years. I think it needs to be recharged and it has the old freon in it. The heater inside is gas and it's also been kept alive. I picked up these new mini units but the set has never been filled. I also have the outdoor half of a bigger mini split that will run 2 indoor units. It's new but returned equipment I hope to fix. I am open to any ideas I just hope I can get central again This home is a modular home and I am a disabled senior trying to recover from a $6000.00 SMUD bill. I will find a grant or loan if it is the only way. That's why I looked for a family owned AC specialist 5 star Heating & cooling.
Hopefully you will be speaking to my son it's his birthday and I hope he will be doing the phone work in a little more comfort

I needed a second opinion since I believe I was being overcharged and Mark came out same day and took care of issue at a third of the price. Will definitely be using them in the future.

Excellent service. Mark came earlier on the scheduled day of service at my short request due to my tightened schedule. He was very knowledgeable about HVAC and has been in the business about 40 years. I definitely sensed a hustle but he was willing to cut me a break. I'm glad we got our A/C back up and running quickly for the hot summer days.

I live in Florida and after looking online for an Ac company, I saw Five Star Heating and Cooling. I spoke to Mark and he came out to my parents house in Citrus Heights within a short time after calling him. He fixed my parents Ac unit and communicated with me via text or on the phone through the entire process and sent me pictures and video of his progress. I was very pleased at the timeliness, service and communication. This was my 1st experience dealing with getting AC work done and was very skeptical because I have heard that Ac company's charge alot. This was not the case and would highly recommend this company.

We decided to do business with a local company A Star Heating & Cooling. I'm so happy we called them, Mark and James showed up on time, was prompt and diagnosed our issue quickly. Mark came out to repair my thermostat. He arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and explained thoroughly step by step what he had to do to fix the problem. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend this HVAC company and will definitely call them back if the need arises.

Mark came out same day service with reasonable price of $120 as I thought my condensation drain was clogged it turned out my AC was frozen and a block of Ice needed to melt overnight Mark charged a discounted rate to spray my outer coils with the hose to clean the for $50. Next day Mark came back out after Ice defrosted and checked the inner coils and refrigerant levels and pressures everything came out ok so my only problem was my AC was frozen final price was $220…the best experience I have ever had with hiring someone for my AC! Mark encouraged me to see what he was doing and explained every step through the process of diagnosing the problem and came back next day. Do not make a mistake and choose anyone else for your Heating and Cooling needs!!! A Five Star heating and Cooling company has the best prices after multiple estimates Mark gave the best and did not try to upsale GREAT guy and a GREAT company
