I had a serious sewage backup late at night that was stressing me out. Pablo came first thing in the morning, showed up on time, and quickly identified the main line clog. They cleared it fast, explained the issue clearly, and made sure everything was flowing properly before leaving. Super professional, respectful of my home, and thorough in cleanup. I’m really relieved and grateful for their help — highly recommend them if you ever need emergency plumbing service.

Friendly and professional in scheduling, but when they came out, they quoted me $650 for a very simple toilet fill valve replacement and said it would take 2 hours. I had another plumber come over later that day and did the work in 20 min for $200. The original guy also said I need a completely new shut off valve because the old one was leaking a bit, but the other plumber was able to tighten a bolt and fix it without charging me extra. I also got a quote for another project which this individual tried to upsell me and tell me my entire water heater needed to be replaced (it’s a fairly new model). These guys try to take advantage of folks. Really didn’t appreciate the dishonesty and wildly overpriced service. Do not recommend.

I had a technician almost slam into me yesterday. At the Oakland Bay Bridge toll lights, I was in my lane but because I had fewer people ahead of me at the timed lights, this technician raced up from behind me to try to pass and cut me off. He didn’t have enough time so he slammed on his breaks, and when he realized he was going to slam into the cars in front of him, he charged into my lane and would have collided with me had I not quickly turned into the lane next to me. Thankfully I didn’t hit anyone because of his awful and reckless driving. The driver proceeded to give me the finger multiple times while playing dumb and acting like he didn’t understand what he did wrong. His behavior signals that he is a classless person and I advise everyone to think about if this is the kind of reckless and dishonest person you want working on your house. I called right after and filed a complaint (with the driver still giving me the finger multiple times as we crossed the bridge together) and to no surprise the company has not bothered to reach back out to me.

We had a broken kitchen line below slab found after jetting by another plumber. We wanted to get a second opinion about the repair which apparently is quite a big job. We read about the good Google reviews of Mr. Rooter Plumbing of San Francisco and called them to do a video inspection to further diagnose the problem and recommend a solution. Alfredo and his team did just that. Alfreda recommended a good plan and a fair price to fix the problem: by re-routing the kitchen line from the inside to the outside of our house, eliminating any invasive repairs inside the house.

We are very impressed with Alfredo and his team in getting the job done well and completed on time. They were punctual and got the job done in one day so that we could use the kitchen sink for dinner. They also protected the work site and cleaned up when the job was completed. The office staff, Erika and Jon, were a joy to work with, keeping us informed every step of the way. We would not hesitate to use their service again in the future and to recomend them to our friends.

I utilized Mr. Rooter for drain cleaning by hydro-jet cleaning. technician, Uriel arrived on time, we discussed my issue and proceeded with the hydro-jet cleaning. It took a little more elbow grease as his line was hitting something hard, so he got out his cable and with effort, he broke free and the hydro-jet cleaning was successful. We walked out to the curb, where we all have a small covered drain that enters into the city sewer line, and I could hear the sound of water and feel the air that was rushing thru the pipe, indicating that my line was completely open.If you need drain services, I highly recommend Mr. Rooter and perhaps you will be lucky enough that Uriel is the technician who will respond and address you issue(s).

Alex was our technician and was absolutely fantastic. He was thorough, explained everything, and provided regular updates. He was also able to arrive on very short notice. Highly recommend!

So far the work turned out to be more extensive than expected but realistically it was a problem that had been developing over the years. The main sewer line to the city sewer was choked with large roots blocking everything from passing except a trickle of water.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of San Francisco provided excellent, professional, and reliable service. The technician arrived on time, explained the issue clearly, and completed the work efficiently. The pricing was fair, and the quality of service was outstanding. Highly recommended for any plumbing needs.

Mr. Rooter promptly came out to stop a water leak from my washing machine and replaced the broken valve with a new valve and new tubing. Pablo did a great job and also recommended preventative measures with my other plumbing. I have used Mr. Rooter several times - they are always reliable and professional.

I hired Mr Rooter to install the plumbing fixtures in our bathroom remodel. Billy and Alex were super efficient, skilled and friendly. They gave us transparent pricing and there were no surprises. I am very happy with the work and will definitely use them again.

Charged 60.00 for 2 shutoff valves;
Valves were in wrong color;
Reassembled plumbing incorrectly after dismantling to fix leak (requiring another plumber at additional cost to fix this);
Took no responsibility for problems.

I had a problem with my bathtub faucet. Renstrom sent John out to check on the situation he know exactly what the problem was . John fixed the faucet in a timely matter with no sign of anyone was even hear.

Renstrom Plumbing did a great job. I highly recommend them.

They came out on the same day, cleared an obstruction and sent a camera through to survey the old drain pipe.
No wonder our hedges were so healthy. There was a hole in the drain line to the City's main sewer line.
Renstrom's crew cut open the concrete, repaired the drain lines including a new vent on the sidewalk.
A concrete Cement company came and sealed everything up.
Great work!

Chris was amazing! And every one of his plumbers was so professional, knowledgeable, efficient and kept me informed of everything. We had a previous plumber who caused 2 leaks and did all the drainage pipes with no slope. We had a horrible mess. Chris and his team diagnosed all the problems, explained everything took photos video of everything they did, worked so hard, cleaned up beautifully and corrected all the previous plumbers mistakes. Passed inspection…that was a breeze because everything was done right. Can’t recommend them highly enough. If you want things done right choose Renstrom plumbing.

Jeff came on the appointment time. Clearing of clogged drain was already completed by another company, but Jeff provided very informative thoughts on additional work that may need to be done.
He also provided guidance on whether I needed to repair or replace my 10 year old Kohler toilets.

Josiah came to diagnose a problem with my disposal. He was prompt, friendly and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and set about fixing it. I have used ACE several times and they always send out fantastic technicians. Highly recommend!
