Today's story will echo nearly all of the reviews currently listed for this business. I never even thought to check the reviews because I didnt believe a large national brand such as Samsung would connect me with a company with less-than-stellar customer service. My Samsung dryer started making a strange noise about two weeks ago. I called the customer service number for Samsung to get a technician out to repair it. I scheduled my appointment a week out and worked from home so that I could be available for the appointment. My appt window was from 10a-2p and I receive a courtesy call about 1pm saying the tech would be here in 15-20 mins. 30+ mins later, I heard no knock, received no call....nothing. I waited an additional 15 minutes and decided to give the tech a call at 1:30. Supposedly, he had arrived at my home and knocked but I didnt answer and he left. Instead of calling (as he did when he was on the way) I called the NJ number to try and figure out how the situation could be resolved as I still need my dryer to be fixed. The first representative couldnt even find my ticket, so I asked to be transferred to a manager. I was then transferred to Ben Lambert at ext 272. He was extremely combative, argumentative, and rude. He didnt apologize for the inconvenience that the situation caused. There only option was to reschedule the appt for Monday after I already waited a week for the repair. Samsung should not partner with a company willing to treat it's customers in this manner and I would highly suggest finding a local business on Yelp to repair your appliances.

My Samsung refrigerator has failed to properly cool my refrigerator for the last 4 months (approximately). I placed a call to the 1-800 # inside of my refrigerator to get a Samsung approved repair person out to my home which I did. They charged me nearly $400 in total to replace 6h4 temperature regulation sensor however the tech advised me that the refrigerator would maintain a temp in the low 40's and that I should consider this normal operation. A little over 90 days since the last date of service my wife advises me that the temperature in the refrigerator is now over 50 degrees and that the food is going bad so I put in another call to Samsung. I initially spoke to Samsung on November 21st to report my issue. I was told that I had an appointment on Wednesday November 24th by the Samsung rep and that Home Services Network would call me to confirm a time prior to that date. When HSN called they advised me that the first available appointment was not until December 1st (1 week later). Obviously there was an issue there but I accepted the appointment. When the tech shows up on December 1st he came with a part in hand that he assumed was the cause of the issue. He stood in front of my refrigerator for no more than 2 minutes then said that the part that he brought with him was not the correct part and that he needed to order the correct part which he did. He then said that I'd have to wait for HSN to call me to schedule another appointment which I did. HSN calls me today December 2nd and says that the first available appointment isn't until December 10th as the part will not be in until December 9th. That is a total of 19 days from the date that I originally reported an issue with my appliance. In what world do repair men come with parts in hand based on the assumption that they understand the issue without ever having put eyes on the unit. Samsung's repair vendor is by FAR the worst company that I have ever encountered as I have had the same individual (Mark) call me on two separate occasions to schedule appointments. In both calls he has hung up on me for asking to speak to a supervisor. The first call he said that I could not speak to a supervisor regarding the particular issue that I was having with him. He advised me that he scheduled my appointment and hung up the phone on me. The following day I get a call from another lady from HSN who said that she was calling to schedule my repair appointment. When I told her that my appointment was already scheduled she read back in the notes where Mark documented that I refused the appointment and that I suggested that I'd just call Samsung. I have now left a review on Google as well as the BBB website where Home Services Network Inc has an F rating. I could not be more furious about the treatment that I've received from a company that I have no choice but to deal with regarding this issue. I've been hung up on multiple times, the employees frequently lie about who their supervisors are and when they will be available. When I asked who the supervisor was the associate made up a last name....and ironically this supervisor was someone completely different than the last individual that I was told was a supervisor. When I spoke to the last gentlemen he advised me that I could file a complaint on the hsnfe.com website however I guess he was not expecting that I was going to attempt to do so while on the phone. When I went to the website that he provided I found a public facing site that says its under construction. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER SAMSUNG APPLIANCE IN MY LIFE!!

Technicians are fine. But I had bad experience with schedulers. Even after I texted pictures of my problem with ice forming Samsung kimchi refrigerator/freezer, the symptom on service authorization said "operation/ claim for temperature/freezer not cold enough" It seems deliberate. They are difficult to reach. They don't return messages left on phone. They don't return emails. Live agents are never on the phone. This is after they cancel appointments on their end.

I’m a VERY patient and understanding person but after countless unanswered calls, missed appointments, forgotten parts, lies from the manager (he called to reschedule and said his worker had a family emergency and couldn’t make it, but in reality his worker was at my property and told me he forgot the part), I’ve reported these people to Samsung and suggest you do the same. They quickly reassigned me to a new service company on the area. @HSN respect your customers and don’t take your relationship with Samsung for granted or you’ll be out of business sooner than you think.

Samsung TV went out after 8 months and they sent this company to repair it. After reading the reviews I was nervous, however; they did keep both appointments and were close to the times they said they'd arrive.

I only give 3 stars because the first time it was a guy tech and my girlfriend was home alone. Personally I think that's unprofessional, as a man I'd never do that. There is a McDonald's and Royal farms he can use the bathroom at blocks from our home he passed coming here. And worst case could go along the tree line somewhere like most other men would.

The 2nd tech that dropped my TV off she said was just short with her and not very talkative. Not horrible, but a good afternoon and small talk wouldn't hurt.

I would use their services again if I had to have a repair. They made both appointments and fixed my tv. 13 days from when it died, I had it back in like new condition.

Samsung hired them to fix my dishwasher. The first appointment they called me two hours into the six hour window stating that they were not gonna show up. Scheduled me for a week later and this time never showed up never called.

Astonishingly poor service. Utter lack of communication between HSN and Samsung. I have a Samsung dryer that is under warranty, that will not work due to an error code. On two separate days, I left work for appointments to meet HSN technicians, where Samsung assured me that a technican will be there, and no one showed up. Samsung cannot even reach HSN to fund out the status of my appointments. I will never purchase a Samsung appliance again.

Horribly unprofessional. Technician showed up 20 minutes after the 12-6pm window. He spoke limited English and ended up grabbing my finger telling me I had a 'finger problem' and that's why my Samsung oven control panel freezes and won't turn off after cooking. He left saying 'no problem, call Samsung'. New company is coming to replace the entire control panel because Samsung acknowledged the problem.

Our Samsung dryer started making a rattling noise about 1 month ago, and finally stopped spinning last week. We called their Support Center and they opened a service ticket. Home Services Network called us back within 30 min and scheduled a visit by their technician for the next day. He came and was very polite and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he immediately identified and fixed the problem. The belt had snapped because another part had failed. He had both replacement parts available with him and finish the job within 30 min. He left everything in order, and we have our dryer working again!

Service organizations like this one often get bad average ratings because more people are more likely to complain and say good things. That makes ratings biased. I'm always happy to say good things about people when I can and that's the case today. The Samsung refrigerator that we bought from Costco was delivered with a dented door. Costco contacted Samsung to initiate a repair and Samsung set it up with Home Services Network. HSN give me a 12-6PM window. That did seem a little wide to me but perhaps not unreasonable when you're repairing appliances and not sure what you're going to run into. Their service man called at 4pm to say he was 20 minutes away, arrived as promised, was friendly and professional, finished the repair in about half an hour and ran a diagnostic code check on the refrigerator before he left. I'm a satisfied customer.

Horrible! Unprofessional! Scheduled a repair thru my samsung warranty-offcie called and rescheduled for a day later- mentioned that samsung makes appointments with out checking with them. Ok so appointment is rescheduled for the next day 8-12 window. At 2:30 we I called and got their call center overseas, who insisted my appointment was for 11-3, and i had to wait and discuss it with my technician who was on the way and would call within. 20 minutes with an update, after arguing about my appointment time I gave up- at 430 I called back and was told that they had to order parts and would be back in touch with a time to install! NO technician ever called it came out, after I texted them a screen shot of their email, they said --oh and disconnected. I called samsung who explained that they were a contractor and that they would report it and see if they got back to me! Still no resolution!

Lack of communication. I told them to cancel my appointment for repairing my brand new TV via email because i was confused with dates Samsung and these guys set up an appointment with me to come out to my house to fix my TV. I have not heard back from HSN regarding of canceling the appointment. Couple days ago, someone from HSN tried to come out to my house to fix my TV while I told them to cancel it.

I will end up hiring someone else to come out to fix my month old TV. Very disappointed as the new TV for $800 has backlight bleeding and dead pixels or stuck dust on it. It's a Samsung Q60B 65" TV purchased from Best Buy

They came to repair my dishwasher. I paid $140 for the service call. They claimed it was repaired but it wasn't, and my dishes remained filthy after running them immediately after the supposed repair. I called to get them back and they claimed the scheduler was away from her desk but would get right back to me. I got no call back. I called again. Still nothing. Unfortunately they're the only authorized Samsung repair place in the state. They really deserved 0 stars.

Very unprofessional. Needed a tv repair. Gave me a wild run around, couldnt get anyone on the phone when i was available to speak.. They would call while i was at work, even tho i gave my work hours. Heads up for others with TV repair needs. Just call best buy.. they ansered immediately, scheduled my appointment immediately, and gave me a price quote on damage/repairs. Samsung should be ashamed using this company. Look at how low the reviews are and how many people are unhappy with there service. I did call samsung to file a complaint against them. More people who run into issues with them should as well.

We’ve had a broken Samsung dishwasher for over 2 months now. This company is a mess and a scam.

Visit 1: Determined hose was kinked, ordered new hose but left dishwasher pieces and screws uninstalled on our kitchen island (totally fine, it’ll be fixed when they replace the hose)

Visit 2: New tech, replaced the hose but refused to reinstall the pieces and screws from the previous visit because it “was not him” and walked out after getting EXTREMELY defensive. We requested that that company no longer be allowed in our home because of the aggressiveness.

Visit 3: No other companies in our area work on Samsung, so the same company had to be scheduled despite our request. Did not show up. Samsung claimed it was because the tech was treated poorly (see visit 2).

In between were several weeks. We literally could not get in touch with the company. We contacted Samsung and Costco to help, but no luck.

Thankfully Costco warranty found us a new company in a different state that actually has a wait because they are fixing the issues this company caused for many customers.

The issue was a broken piece of glass in the motor… not what this company initially diagnosed 2 months ago.

These people are the biggest JOKES! Our fridge had been leaking from the ice maker line since we got it and Samsung sent this company out to fix. The tech who came out got on the phone with samsung to walk him through the steps to troubleshoot because he had NO idea what he was doing. He emptied the ice maker and then turned it off. About 2 minutes later he determined there was nothing wrong with it, asked me to sign his paper and then left. I was shocked and immediately knew they were just trying to make some sort of quota and not actually fix the problem. I instantly got an email saying that their tech determined it was an installation error. LOL The customer doesn't install the water/ice lines into the fridge!! It was just so beyond belief that I couldn't even wrap my head around it. So, I called back Samsung because surprise when I turned the ice maker back on, it was still leaking!!! They sent out another company who actually spent the time to diagnose the problem. The tech found that their was internal damage from factory and was deemed unrepairable so Samsung now has to replace my fridge. It all made sense when I found out Home Service Network gets paid from Samsung for each work order that they take on regardless of whether or not they fix the problem. Not sure why Samsung continues to use this company but PSA make them send a different company the first time!

Worst experience ever. TLDR: It took over 5 weeks to get our Samsung refrigerator repaired, and they charged us $400 for a covered service.

    1) HSN will never answer the phone.
    2) You can only leave a message during business hours.
    3) You have a slim chance your call will be returned.
    4) For us, every service was scheduled for approximately 10 days after we were contacted by HSN.
    5) When our refrigerator stopped working we contacted Samsung and Samsung had HSN call us to set up a service appointment. Even though our refrigerator was nonfunctional HSN had no sense of urgency: the service call was scheduled for 10 days out. At the service call a guy showed up just for the 'diagnosis'. He confirmed there was a problem and we scheduled the next appointment to fix the issue for 10 days later.
    6) Next service call was a no show. No call from HSN before, no call after, just me at home missing a day of work. Scheduled the next appointment for 10 days later.
    7) Next service call was a no show again!. No call from HSN before, no call after, just me at home missing another day of work. Scheduled the next appointment for 10 days later. (I asked for the morning appointment window this time.)
    8) HSN finally showed up and put a new compressor in the refrigerator. It didn't work. The refrigerator wouldn't get down to temperature and the 'new' compressor made horrible noises every hour. Scheduled the next appointment for 7 days later.
    9) HSN finally showed up and fixed the problem, after we had no working refrigerator for more than 5 weeks.
    10) We got charged over $400 for the compressor replacement. The compressor has a 5 year warranty. Our refrigerator is only 1 year old. I contacted Samsung about the charge and they said all charges derive from the contractor and that I would need to contact HSN to get the charge removed. But see bullet point number 1.

Absolutely terrible service. Do not waste your time with them. My Samsung dishwasher broke. I had them come out to repair, they came out, and weren’t sure on what was wrong but had an idea, so I paid for the replace parts they recommended. Dishwasher still broken with same issue, yet they closed the ticket and want me to open another one and pay a new service fee. I get them to waive the service fee, so they came out again. Technician didn’t know what it could be and said he’d get in touch with Samsung and let me know what they thought and would get back to me. A week goes by and I never get a call back so I called them. Took me calling 10 times, and sitting on hold for an hour before someone finally answered. They told me, the ticket was closed as completed and that I’d need to open up another ticket with Samsung and pay a service fee.
A bunch of crooks who don’t know what they’re doing.
Dishwasher is still broken, I’ve given up and buying a new one. My Samsung dishwasher lasted 2 years.

Very frustrated! Samsung warranty service call for our dishwasher scheduled by Samsung. HSN calls to schedule the service & when the tech arrives, he immediately leaves. Claiming the dishwasher needed to have been removed prior. He says no problem though, just call back & he will return. I remove, call back, and now they tell me the unit is out-of-warranty & will charge me. Despite letting the HSN rep know the backstory & I was never told (verbally or in writing) the unit needed to have been removed, they refused to come back out. The HSN rep hung up on me before we could even discuss further. STAY AWAY...IF YOU HAVE THE OPTION.

Unreliable and Dishonest Service – Avoid at All Costs

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Home Service Network. My experience with this vendor has been nothing short of a nightmare.

First, they completely failed to show up for the initial scheduled appointment.** Without any communication or warning, I was left waiting for hours, only to be informed that the appointment would be delayed by 12 hours and rescheduled to a later time. This kind of disrespect for the customer's time is unacceptable.

When they finally rescheduled, they didn’t even bother to show up. Despite their assurances, no one came to my home to diagnose or fix the issue with my Samsung appliance.

To make matters worse, **they had the audacity to report to Samsung that they had visited the site, diagnosed the problem, and required additional parts,** all without ever stepping foot on my property or even inspecting the machine. This blatant dishonesty is alarming and raises serious concerns about the integrity of this service provider.

In summary, this vendor is unreliable, unprofessional, and dishonest.** They have wasted my time, failed to deliver on their promises, and lied to both me and Samsung about their actions. I strongly recommend avoiding this service provider and urge Samsung to reconsider their partnership with such an untrustworthy company.

This company came out and charged me 371.00 and the refrigerator still does the same thing it did
Service and I was explaining to technician the part had already been changed that he says is now not working. He black listed me and now the company is refusing to help me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
