I had to wait a bit to submit this review as a prudent homeowner should wait for the city inspection to provide a truthful and thorough review of any major installation. And yes, Peaden HVAC has come through with flying colors. I can attest that this company is professional and competent as they made certain they had the air conditioning unit up and running on the day of install even though they had to return to button up some final issues.
To begin, Micheal's initial visit to provide the estimate was on time as scheduled and he also asked all the right questions to ensure our unit would run at the most efficient capacity possible. Their office personnel Amanda was thorough with her communication and answered all of my questions.
It can be somewhat daunting when you have people to your home for estimates especially when you have young children or elderly parents; with Peaden that is not a concern. Everyone associated with Peaden HVAC is professional and courteous.
At installation day, the crew began by prepping the inside and outside area to ensure a clean install. Additionally, Befford and Micheal were able to put a plan in place to address the issue that arouse with the mini-split install. In addition Michael came with the inspector for the final walk through and stayed afterwards to answer some minisplit questions that had arisen since the original install.
Finally, the system needed some additional adjustments due to the filter becoming wet and the unit needing to be attached properly and I called Micheal to discuss and he had Scott returned to my home that same evening to complete the necessary work. The following day, both Scott and Michael returned to review the final completed work and ensure the system was performing in top notch condition. This company is responsive, can execute the necessary work to be done and stay late to ensure it is completed
correctly.
For anyone looking for an HVAC company who are well trained, arrive to your home on time and have sales staff that follow up with you until the work is satisfactorily completed, look no further. If you live in the Tallahassee area, I would contact Peaden first, they will do the job to your full satisfaction.

From the beginning, scheduling and dispatching were extremely helpful in getting an appointment scheduled. The technician Zach was very polite, and informative. He answered all of my questions and not once was he pushy about selling services. This locally owned business has definitely earned their 5 stars from me.

Anthony (Tony) explain all of details concerning my upcoming job. He was very professional and friendly. He provided me with knowledge to make the best choice for my budget. Scott was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the inspection. He actually pointed out some things that I wasn't even expecting.

David, Scott, Trent and the entire Peaden team were professional, and courteous. We were without air conditioning for 3-weeks. The Peaden team worked from 9 am to 9:45 pm to get our new unit installed! We were very thankful and grateful for the team's dedication. The entire team, including office staff were awesome! Thanks for making our home cool again!!

We are highly disappointed with our experience with Peaden in Tallahassee. We were initially excited to find a company that handled HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, but that enthusiasm quickly faded. They set three separate appointments, though thankfully, all the technicians arrived around the same time.

All three technicians were friendly and professional. I had already purchased the necessary parts for the plumbing and electrical work. The A/C tech was helpful, and I was satisfied with the work he did. The plumber couldn’t complete the job due to a part issue—partially my mistake—but he didn’t charge me, which I appreciated.

The biggest issue was with the electrician. He was on-site for only an hour and fixed a few things. He did offer to provide an estimate, but I declined and told him to go ahead and do the work. We were shocked to be charged $690 for one hour. We called multiple times to speak with a manager, and although we were told we’d get a call back, no one ever followed up.

When they later called to reschedule the plumber, we declined and explained our concerns—again, we were promised a call that never came.

The technicians were kind, but the pricing was outrageous. Unless you get clear, upfront pricing in writing, I would not recommend using Peaden. In the end, this is truly my fault for trusting a company.

These guys really are 5 star certified!!! We had what talquin electric called hot legs which is when the main electrical wires from the pole that run to your house become damaged or melt that causes power surges in the house. Talquin was very nice but they had to shut off our power and they took our meter. I'll say we first called anytime electrical services 4 mins before they opened and they were so busy they said they would only be able to come during the emergency service time. We called these guys and Justin Steven's responded within 10 mins and was on his way to our house! They worked hard all day to run us new underground electric wires and Justin stayed with us until around 8pm waiting with us for talquin to reinstall our meter and power. He made sure everything worked as it should before he left and had a great attitude the whole time! When I didn't get the email for the receipt I called and talked to Tosha who was also absolutely fantastic and stayed on the phone with me until it came through!!!! The services ended up costing $3400.00 but that is very reasonable price for the problems we had and an amazing price for the service we received. We'll never call anyone else now. Thank you guys sooo much!

I had my first time experience with a Peaden service call today. Nate Holder, plumber for the Tallahassee location, was outstanding. He arrived on time, was incredibly thorough, explained everything to me in terms that I could understand, and went the extra mile to check out other issues in my home. Kudos also to Trades Manager Michael. This was by far the most professional and thorough service call I have ever had.

My follow-up, whole house inspection by electrician, Jarrod; HVAC tech, Mefford; and plumber, Nathaniel, was as excellent as my first experience with Peaden. Alk of the techs were courteous, thorough in their inspections, and truly professional in every way. Grateful to have found Peaden.

8/6/25 - Tony and his crew installed a whole house water filtration system. As always, excellent service.

12/8/25 - great plumbing inspection by Shane today. He arrived promptly and worked efficiently.

12/8/25 - same day service for both electrical and plumbing annual inspection so I didn't have to take off from work twice. Very convenient, and Winston, the electrical system technician, did a great job.

The Peaden company definitely overcharges though and you are basically forced to move forward with them after your quote or you’re out $86. Too expensive and they don’t offer any USAA or student discounts.

Again, Justin was great and he did a wonderful job! He doesn’t make the prices so the 3stars are for Peaden.

Shane was wonderful. He was timely and did his due diligence and an excellent professional job. I highly recommend Shane.

It was my understanding that Scott was coming to check the unit at 68 Elizabeth St and no charge to look at the unit at 125 fountaine but he charged me $748.00 please send an invoice explaining just what I was charged for? Mike came today to see what I needed at 125 fountaine at no charge????? I'm greatly disappointed

Scott Eppes, was outstanding. He was very courteous and professional. He listened to my system concerns and explained what he thought the issues could be.
After inspecting the unit he explained in detail what he found (along with pictures) and what could possibly correct the problems.
A very nice young man. Highly recommended.

Jarrod with Peaden completed the installation job of my Ring doorbell with much professionalism and was very patient in going over the Ring app with me. Would definitely use Peaden again for any future work.

Shane looked over the garbage disposal, the drain underneath the sink and my dishwasher. He turned the disposal back on and gave me estimates about what a repair a would take. He also looked at my water heater and A/C. He was knowledgeable and very friendly.

Justin was very knowledgeable. He has a great personality. He provided fast service. I will definitely be using Peaden again.

Daniel was an excellent informative professional. Readily shared information and answered all my questions.
And the company was fast and efficient and getting me a next day, actually next morning service. Faster than expected.
