Chad is a sharp dressed man and knows his HVAC stuff. He provided great service and got our expansion valve freed. He went the extra mile to defeat the Ninjas guarding the Renegade condo entry gate. 5 stars for Chad.

Key staff was very prompt and courteous in returning my late night email message about AC problem. Our technician, Gabriel, was very professional, knowledgeable, respectful, personable and thorough. We'll definitely continue to call on Key for any heating/AC issues.

I had an issue with my A/C unit today and Allen came out within about 30 minutes, diagnosed, and fixed the issue in less than 5 minutes. He was friendly, professional, and definitely knew his stuff. I have used Key Heating & Cooling for nearly 20 years now, including for a full A/C replacement, and they and their people are always quick, honest, and do excellent work. I highly recommend them and was particularly impressed with Allen.

We are new residents to the Tallahassee area and didn't know any of the companies that provided AC services/systems. Unfortunately, two months after moving into our "new" house, the 20 year old compressor to our AC system malfunctioned and stopped blowing cold air. This was not a surprise since it was 20 years old. As always, these things happen on a Friday and there was really little if any chance of getting a new system in place quickly and the temperatures were still in the mid-80s. We asked our neighbor if he could recommend anyone to put in a new system. Fortunately he knew what he was talking about since he had been an inspector at the installation of many AC systems in the area. He said unequivickly that Key Heating and Cooling was by far the best he had seen in his years of inspection and recommended them highly to us.

We called them for a quote for a new AC system that uses electric and gas and got a quote from another reputable firm in the Tallahassee area. Their price was competitive and the product (Carrier) was one of the few that would always have parts available in the event of any issues in the future. We agreed to use Key and they were gracious enough to let us know that though we were calling on a Friday and there was no team available to put a new unit in that day, they would put a temporary compressor in on Monday morning at no additional charge, which they did. Their employees Jaguar and Alex were prompt, efficient, professional, enthusiastic, friendly and had us back with AC on Monday morning as we waited for the new unit to arrive. The new unit was put in on Friday, but there was no issue since we had the temporary unit up and running. In addition, Key would provide regular maintenance for the unit for the first year at no charge. David, the sales rep, was responsive and true to his word on everything he said that would be delivered. Jose and Vincent along with Jaguar and Alex, did the final installation of the new equipment very efficiently and cleanly.

No one wants to have to buy an AC/heating system, but they made it as easy as possible and were tremendously helpful and responsive and delivered exactly what was promised with very friendly technicians doing the work. I highly recommend them.

Thank you to Healey and the team for helping us get our AC running cold again! From the first phone call to final repair was only 90 minutes. They quickly identified this issue (bad compressor) and fixed it immediately. Such a relief for what could’ve been a stressful situation.

We had a nasty smell while trying to heat the house during the recent blizzard. They were able to get a technician to come out within an hour of calling. Alan smelled what we were talking about and evaluated our system. He came up with a plan to solve the problem, told us the cost (which was very reasonable) and completed the job quickly. Our heat does not smell anymore and works great. Haley the receptionist that took the phone call was very helpful and courteous. Very impressed with this company. Thank you!

Honest & reliable! Moved to Tallahassee in 2015 & they serviced my home AC on one occasion. This week, I called Mayfield's for a cooling problem and they dispatched a technician who discovered a coolant leak on the air handling unit and not only did they beat the competition on price for an entire system replacement, but were able to have it installed this week as well.

John was servicing our very, very old AC system. He helped us limp it along for several years before it finally bit the dust. He and his assistant (Joey) replaced it over a couple of extremely hot days along with the ductwork located in the sweltering attic.
