Michael and Jimmy did a great job fixing my AC unit after I noticed a leak. I really appreciated how quickly they arrived and they were a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend Advanced Air Care if you run into AC problems in Tallahassee.

AJ serviced my unit today. This is the second time he came out and did a very thorough job. He is very personable, friendly and conscientious about his job. I have been using Advanced Aircare for many years and find all of their employees, from management to technicians, to be friendly and conscientious about their work. I would highly recommend them.

Advanced Air replaced my unit in August 2024. Never had any issues with it until the end of July 2025. I call someone to come and look at it. I had to replace the breaker in the panel box. There was no other issues until Advanced Air came for my yearly service. Two weeks later the unit stopped working. I contacted them to come back out. They came back out and said that the HVAC needed replacing and charged me 90 dollars. Then they said that it would cost me 1000 dollars for the labor even though there's a 10 year warranty on the parts. I don't believe them for one minute that the HVAC went out when it was working before their so called service. It's was only 2 years old. And it's still not fixed.

We recently had a new system installed by Advanced Air Care, and it has been performing perfectly through both the freezing cold and the summer heat. We did have some initial complications with the new setup, but I was so impressed with how the team handled it—they stayed on top of it, fixed everything, and made sure we were taken care of.

A huge shoutout to Chris, who is awesome! He gave us some really helpful recommendations that we hadn't even considered. It’s rare to find a company that stands by their work like this. We are very thankful!

Excellent service and a five-star experience. I’m a property manager for a large local community, and we use Advanced Air Care. This evening, we had an on-property emergency, and they responded within 30 minutes, took care of the issue, and left the residence with the AC fixed comfortable for the evening. I cannot wait to work with this vendor again.

I had a bit of a mixed experience with these folks at first, but mistakes happen and once I made them aware of the problem they did what was necessary to take care of it. On the second visit they found the problem, and within about 15 minutes had me up and running.

Two AC emergencies in the last couple of years and they have been there for me quickly and kindly. My unit is very old, but they keep it going. If you have any question about calling them, just go ahead and do it.

FINALLY! After 2 of the above 5 star rated (probably bogus reviews) provided me terrible service I was fortunate to be referred to Giddens - they are the best ever ~ you will find that from talking to Jodie on the phone and dealing with their technicians.

Water is hot at 211 degrees..it boilsat 212 degrees....that extra degree is the difference between good customer service and great customer service .Andrew was very professional courteous efficient and timely when it came to installing my new unit...not to mention Dillian and Trent were just as awesome...highly recommended to anyone who is looking for any heating and cooling services

Let me point out that I am now retired, but I worked for Georgia Power for about ten years and then finished out my career working for Gulf Electric, these were companies of two different sizes and two different levels of BS. I recently got a house in the area and after a home inspection was done it was found that the hvac unit was not working and only a fan was running. I was suggested by the realtor to call up Bensons and they were fine on the phone, but coming out to the property it was obvious that they had become a company with a larger concentration of BS. I didn’t ask to be sold on the benefits of a new Lennox system yet I got it anyway. Nothing I hate more than being pushed into doing something I don’t want to do. In the end I didn’t like the list of services they suggested and final bid and so I didn’t have them do the job. I paid for service call to basically hear their marketing pitch for Lennox systems.
With my own research I found a company willing to do the job I asked, which was repair and not replace the system I already had and that was Giddens AC. It is just two companies with two different concentrations of BS. Before you have anyone do the job, do a little research and make your own choices because bottom line is everyone wants your money.

Nice people, exceptional work, honest, easy to communicate with and impressive/dedicated team of workers. The guys worked through a rainstorm and Into the night to get my air conditioner working. I'm very happy with their work.

The crew from Giddens Air Conditioning did a "great" job in installing our new AC system on 4/16/2018. The Trane 15 Seer system is working great and my wife and I are enjoying the clean air pouring into our home in Crawfordville. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to buy a new AC system, especially if the first visit is coordinated through Jodie and made by Ben Giddens, who patiently explained all benefits of the new Trane system as well as inspected and took photos of the air handling system as well as taking down notes about our particular needs. Giddens crew is honest and kind. When my system was breaking down, of the many companies in town I called, I felt like this company was the most genuine and they were the only ones to actually explain the process of what they wanted to accomplish and financing options.

I wanted to share my recent experience with Giddens Air Conditioning Inc of Tallahassee FL.
Our 23 year old Rheem unit had been having issues for the past couple of years. Our home warranty company continued to patch and piece the system together during this period. The final straw came when the unit started blowing warm air on my daughter's sweet sixteen birthday party with about 20 guests at the house. The home warranty company offered to replace the compressor in the unit. Unfortunately they wanted to charge approximately $1200 for the refrigerant they would need to refill the unit. Upon hearing of this charge my wife suggested that we look to replace the unit. (This was a wise choice as every company that came out to give an estimate said the problem did not sound like the compressor was bad.)
I called Jody at Giddens who was very knowledgeable, helpful and offered great suggestions after listening to what we were looking for. She stated she would have Ben (the owner of Giddens) come out and give us an estimate. Of the four companies that came out, Ben was the only one that really went through our house and engineered the house to give system options and a very accurate estimate. He explained our options, the various products, energy efficiency ratings and what would take place to get the replacement done in great detail. He also offered to put a portable unit in our home until the replacement was done.
After reviewing our options we decided to go with Giddens. As Jody stated on the initial contact, they would not be the lowest price and they would not be the most expensive, however the product and the service would be top notch. The main influencing factors to go with Giddens was the time Ben spent engineering our house and explaining the products and options. Another determining factor to use Giddens was that they install Trane systems. In my research most of the opinions stated that Trane was the best product on the market.
The installation began in the morning of June 27th . Octavio, Lalo, Enrique and Andrew were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and hard working. The attic work was hot, dirty and took most of the day to replace the air handler, line set, drain lines, sealing duct joints, tying into the existing duct work and manufacturing a new return plenum. The guys divided and conquered the entire system working simultaneously on the air handler, the outdoor unit, replacing the thermostat and sealing the return joints under the house.
Ben stopped by toward the end of the job to perform a quality assurance check and to make sure that all of items that were discussed at the time of the estimate were completed. He also had the guys patch a hole in the brick from the old system with mortar to had a more professional finish.
From start to finish, all of the employees and owner were extremely professional, thorough, friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful and paid great attention to detail. All of these qualities resulted in a perfect installation, which from what all of the folks that came out to give estimates, will result in a more reliable and efficient system. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Giddens and extremely pleased with our decision to use Giddens for our system replacement.
I will highly recommend Giddens Air Conditioning to everyone that needs heating and air conditioning work and am looking forward to a Trane system that will give us many years of reliable heating and cooling.

Even the lady who answers the phone here offered a better diagnosis of our A/C problem than the Tech assigned by our homeowners warranty company. I was also very impressed by Bailey's knowledge. We've since cancelled the homeowners warranty.
