Such a pleasure to work with! Called for service, and had an appointment scheduled within two days. Rich arrived exactly when he said he would (even giving me 30 minutes advanced notice), and quickly diagnosed & repaired a bad fan & broken ice maker in my refrigerator. From arrival to finishing the repairs took just over 2 hours, and at a very reasonable price! Highly recommended!!

Rich was amazing! He diagnosed and repaired our gas oven in less than 30 minutes. He knows what he’s doing! I’ve had many technicians out to our house and he stands apart from the pack. He explained the issue to me in detail and charged a reasonable price. Plus, Rich is a super nice guy! I highly recommend Western Appliance Repair!

I just would like to share the fact that technicians who service any kind of repairs for anybody having technical issues aren't able to always fix every problem that occurs with any appliance and for the fact that this company has so many good reviews as opposed to disgruntled reviews comes to show that their services are more than phenomenal and do exceed the standards of expectation and for that fact I myself will give them the best review that I can because I myself know how hard it is for technicians to satisfy every customer and it is true that most people are not as understanding as one would suppose. Anyway I will be referring people to this company from here on forward as best as I can. Thank you for never giving up on your community even through the hardships, trials and tribulations you've encountered with certain problems that weren't able to be fixed! Rich came out today -- on time -- and fixed my dishwasher!!! He needed a part and I was afraid it would take days. Instead, he picked up the part and was back in less than an hour and fixed the dishwasher!! (No more washing by hand!!!) Rich is personable, competent and efficient. I was surprised at how inexpensive it was!!! And much cheaper than buying a new dishwasher. I would call Western Appliance Repair again and again. I recommend this service!

My recent experience with Western Appliance Repair was exceptional... prompt and efficient, and very affordable. I was so pleased to have my oven working again, and Rich also gave me some tips on my dryer exhaust for better drying. Rich was quick to get me on his schedule and was able to fix my dryer at a reasonable price.
I decided to have him take a look at my 15 year old Kenmore elite oven that was no longer heating.
I was told by Sears repair that the part that needed replaced was no longer being manufactured and I had to replace my double ovens.
Rich was able to find me the part and get my oven working again! He saved me thousands of dollars by me not having to replace both my ovens because one stopped working!

Murf was great. Refrigerator was on the fritz and Murf was able to come same day and had it fixed by the next day. Honest, available, and affordable the perfect combo for a local appliance repair.

Murf is awful. He showed up left my freezer in pieces and told me it was garbage and not fixable. I called another company who showed up, repaired it, and put back together the parts that Murf took apart! He promised me a refund and almost three months later he still has not refunded my money and avoids my phone calls.

Let me tell you about my great experience with Murph's Appliance Repair...

After being overcharged and not getting the level of customer service I expected when getting my dryer fixed several months back, I was extremely hesitant to go through the whole ordeal of finding another appliance repair company when my washer broke down recently. I looked up several different places online, but vowed I would NOT repeat mistakes of the past. I knew my luck had changed the minute I called Murf's Appliance Repair.

I did have to leave a voice mail with my initial call to them, but got a phone call back within a very short time (probably less then 15 minutes). An extremely lovely woman named "Kim" called to find out more about the problems I was having with my washer. This phone call, which should have lasted just a few minutes turned into the beginning of a 'healing' process for me as Kim patiently listened to my complaints of my last ordeal with a competitor of theirs. I told her how we were severely overcharged by this competitor and that the competitor's technician didn't even bother to wipe down my dryer while he worked on it--a basic service I would expect any technician to do. I explained I did NOT want to go through this again. Kim told me she couldn't speak to what happened with the competitor, but assured me this would NOT happen with Murf's Appliance Repair.

As we spoke, Kim patiently went through ALL of what I should expect. In fact, she said, she would have Murf himself come over to meet with me to introduce me to their business and the level of service I should expect from any appliance repair company. And, while talking on the phone with Kim, my other line was ringing through. Guess who was on the other line? It was Murf himself also returning my call, but Kim already had me taken care of. Talk about superior and caring service--and I was just a prospective customer at that moment.

The next day (today) Murf called to let me know he was up the street (at the time Kim promised he would) and asked if it was okay to come over. From the moment he walked in my home, I was impressed. His warm handshake and mannerisms made me very comfortable. As he worked on my washing machine, he pointed out the different parts to me explaining what they did and as he ran his diagnostics, he explained what he was doing and what the problem was--bad lid switch (it turned out to be). And, while doing this, he sprayed and wiped off all the years of dirt that built up inside the machine. He informed me of the cost up front and I was pleasantly surprised. For all the work he did--labor and parts--came to under $125 for everything. On top of this, while we were talking, I mentioned we were retired military and he thanked me for mentioning this and gave a military discount on top of it.

All I can say is this--from my phone call with Kim to the final washing machine repair tie up with Murf--the entire experience, level of professionalism, attention to detail, honesty in pricing and caring customer service was A+++. I will definitely be using Murf's Appliance Repair again for all my appliance needs. With affordable pricing, no hidden costs, and no sacrificing service or customer care, I highly recommend Murf's Appliance Repair to any one who needs this type of service! You won't regret it, I promise!

We gave Murf a real challenge with a refrigerator ice/water dispenser that we couldn't figure out. He came the same day and then stuck with the problem until he got it working perfectly. It wasn't easy, but we're so glad he stuck with it and didn't nickel and dime us even though he had to make multiple trips. He stuck with the quote he originally gave us and did a great job. Murf came out the same day I called him which was phenomenal. What I really like about murf is that he's honest, even though the fridge is only a couple years old and has two Cooling condensers or whatever he called it it would be very expensive to fix. He suggested I get a Maytag fridge with one cooling system and showed me online exactly which one to look for. Now you can't get much better than that!

Everyone at Murf's was wonderful to work with. Kim was very helpful and friendly getting my appointment set up, and Murf was very professional while fixing my washer. I would highly recommend using Murf's for any appliance repair. The cost was also very reasonable.

I do not recomend Murf's. The initial call was great. I spoke with a lady who was very professional. It was all downhill after that. First Murf was late. Then he did the repair and an inspection and found nothing else wrong with my washing machine. A month later the part failed. I called Murf and the excuses began. He came out and implied the washing machine had other issues or maybe it was misused. There was no warranty. I found out a few days later from another company the part comes with a 3 month warranty from the manufacturer. Murf's opperation is shady in my opinion. I recomend QUALITY APPLIANCE REPAIR if you need your appliances worked on. Not only did they take care of me, but have also stood behind their warranty and are helping me deal with the manufacturer of my unit.

I wish I could give six stars to Murf. He willingly came on the weekend, assessed the situation, gave us a quote and when he would be able to return and he did so, just as he promised. My wife and I appreciated him because he called it as he saw it. He was knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional, and a straight shooter. We recommend Murf to anyone.

I know a little about appliance repair but wanted a professional opinion. Murf came out to service our refrigerator on a Saturday the same day I called. The service call charge was reasonable and he didn’t try to sell me any b.s. I’ll call Murf’s anytime I have an issue.

Murf’s has been my appliance repair go to person. This time he fixed my refrigerator which was icing up in the freezer. It is working perfectly now. I highly recommend Murf.

We used Murfs to repair a dryer in 2016 - was excellent and quick service at a very good price. Have used Sears before, would recommend Murfs first. Have a washer issue now, definitely contacting Murfs first, will update this review after the repair.

This company arrived promptly. Got the washing machine back to running better than it has in ages. Someone the house had washed a rug with a rubber of plastic backing that came of and clogged up the drain filter. Murf cleaned out the drain filter. He then checked out the dryer and determined that the dryer is fine but the exhaust vent may need professional cleaning for it to do a better job. I then wrote a check for what seemed to be a reasonable sum, and he went on his way. Everything has been working fine for over a month. Good service. Good price. I would use the company again and recommend him to others.
