On Sunday of this past week, my husband successfully disabled our Honeywell Home Pro Series Smart Thermostat. We were overwhelmed by the heat in our little apartment. On Monday, from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., I found the manual online and tried to resolve the issue unsuccessfully. I made a call to Capital City Heating & Cooling. The owner, Michael Murphy-Sweet arrived at our place about 11:00 a.m. He was so thorough. In the end, he reprogrammed our Smart Thermostat. Now our system is running like brand-new! He explained everything he was doing as he went. I would never use anyone else in the future if needed, and I highly recommend his company to anyone who needs maintenance service, HVAC repairs, or even HVAC replacement. They are hands down the best in the valley!

Professional, on time maintenance. I couldn’t believe that my appointment only had a 1 hour arrival window and the technician called 10 minutes before arrival and arrived right on time. He taught me about my AC and showed me everything he was testing. Highly recommend this company.

These guys are the best in the business. Did a complete new install of a Goodman system. Full system including thermostat. Excellent duct work. Everything was perfect. They know this stuff inside and out. They brought out two techs up to make sure the system was perfect. Scheduling was easy, and the installation crew arrived on time. Our heat pump was running far too long between cycles, producing little heat. Charles quickly diagnosed and repaired the coolant leak. He charged the system with coolant, gaining 40 degrees in output temperature (78 to 118).

Capital City was the 5th company to give me a quote on relocating my AC unit to other side of house which included running new Freon lines through the attic and 220 wire under my house. They provided the best education during the quote and best price! So we chose them. And they’re locally, family owned which we loved. The guys showed up, protected our carpets inside, did all the attic and crawl space work and got it done in a shorter period than the quote. 100% I’d recommend them to anyone. Electrical and HVAC from single company (huge plus) and absolutely best service. They’re our new go-to as long as we live in treasure valley!

Highly recommend Capital City heating. Our furnace wasn't working and David came out and got it working again. He was very professional, knowledgeable and honest. Let me know about their yearly membership that saves you money. He installed 2 new thermostats and took the time to show me how to program them. Also was able to do the yearly maintenance. Really appreciated the customer service and didn't feel like they were tying to sell me something I didn't need. We have used them for a few years and every time we've had great service. ThankYou!

We had our new heater and air conditioning installed last year and we are thoroughly happy with everything that was done and how well our system works. we had city out to do our maintenance this year install a new filter and do a check over our system. Gary was the man that came out. He helped my wife and I figure out a problem with her thermostat on how to set it and leave it set instead of it, switching back in the middle of the night . Gary was very helpful and pleasant to be around. I would recommend him to anybody and he did a good job.. and we also signed up for a three-year maintenance and filter change, which was $140 a very reasonable price for three years.
