I noticed my 9 year old garbage disposal finally died at 11 AM today. It was not an emergency, but they had someone out within 2 hours and now I have a pretty new disposal! I have used this company for years and they've always been responsive and skilled! Never once have they had to come back and fix or adjust anything. They've always gotten it right the first time.

Job was full water service replacement for a 2 story home. From bidding, to execution, to follow up, everything was great! Besides the re-pipe they also put a new water shutoff at a MUCH more accessible location. Highly recommend them as I will be using them again for future needs

Had Steve over yesterday to install a new water heater (tankless), and he did a great job! Really nice guy and professional, and you can tell he really cares about making sure we were happy and that everything looked great, and ran right. The new water heater is much quieter than our 16 year-old one he removed, and it looks to be much more efficient.
I had to laugh- there is only a single outlet where the installation is, so I gave him a small power strip to use (he needed a double), and he didn't like he way the cords were hanging! I assured him I'll get a proper outlet and clean up the cords! Oh, and they came in quite a bit lower than two other 'big' companies here in town. I'll give Veterans a call the next time I need help! -
Very good experience with Veterans Plumbing. Fast response time, fair pricing, and quality work. This is just a job I'm not comfortable doing myself. We are paying for value, not time. Well worth the cost for professional work that I know is done right.

Fast, professional, and talk about going the extra mile. After Bobby Arellano installed my bidet, he saw me struggling to shovel snow, and finished my driveway for me. What an amazingly kind gesture! I will definitely be using them for future projects.

I recently had a whole house repipe completed by Veterans Plumbing. Scott was clear and instructive during the bidding process and Steve and Brock took great care to do the job right, leaving my home clean after each work day. They were quick to resolve a minor issue with the fixtures. I could not be happier with the work that was done and will call Veterans Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs!

These guys are amazing! We had our water line crack two different times and both times they were so fast and thorough. They made us knowledgeable about our situation, and let us know every step of the way what they were doing.

Veterans Plumbing is amazing! My dad worked with Scott years and years ago and my sister said Hasib is awesome, so I knew I should call them when we had our first plumbing issue in our home. We had a pipe in our crawl space leak and Veterans came out within a few days and had the repair done on that very day. While he was doing the repair, he did an estimate for a repiping of the whole system since it was definitely needed (they were the original pipes from 1998 and with that first leak the integrity of the rest of the pipes were in the same boat). Since there was water damage to our home, Brock called Dry Guys, who they work side by side with, so that everything could be taken care of as quickly as possible. Brock had the leak fixed within a few hours and was careful to make sure the door that had access to the crawl space was closed so the cat didn’t go down there. He was very kind and calm, did not make a mess or make a ton of noise and did an excellent job with the leak repair. On that day, he wore shoe covers whenever he walked through the house!
When we were ready to do the repiping of the whole plumbing system, it was easy to schedule and Brock and Hasib worked together to get it done in two days. They communicated with us about when the water was okay to use and when it was turned off. They also laid down drop cloths and protective plastic throughout the house since it was very snowy that day. They made sure the house was tidy before they left, too.
The quality of the work was astounding and the pricing was very competitive. We hope we won’t have to call them anytime soon, but the next time we need a plumbing repair of any kind, we will be calling Veterans Plumbing again. The automated emails and texts of when a Veterans Plumbing team member was on the way, with a tracking feature, was quite handy.
The only thing I would note that was not excellent was my initial attempt to schedule our first appointment. I think it’s a new system being used where another local appliance repair company assists with scheduling (Western Heating and Air). On the first call, they scheduled the appointment with someone from their company even though I had a plumbing issue and not an HVAC issue. When I called to correct that after reading the confirmation email, I was told by a different person that the service I needed was not something they do and was left without an appointment. I was able to call again the next day (Monday) and get everything sorted out and I imagine this is something that will be sorted out in time. -
The 5 star is only because the person who came out for the consultation was professional and seemed knowledgeable. Otherwise, you should be transparent about a $189 fee you charge when a customer is wanting a water softener quote. Other reputable companies serving the Boise metro area offer free estimates, except you.

We had Veterans Plumbing do a complex job that included repiping the entire house, adding a hot water recirculation line (a great enhancement), replacing the old water heater with a tankless one, adding a water softener, and adding a Moen smart valve.
We got 3 bids, and the difference between Veterans and the other two companies in that process was amazing. Scott (the owner of Veterans) spent well over an hour talking to us about our needs and going through the whole house carefully, including a good 15 or 20 minutes in the crawl space where a lot of the work would be done. The other two companies spent maybe 15 minutes each, barely stuck their heads in the crawl space, and were not nearly as engaged. Based on that experience we would have gone with Veterans even if their bid had been more than the others, but it was actually a bit less!
The crew who did the job were equally impressive. Hasib (crew chief) clearly has a ton of knowledge and experience about every aspect of plumbing, and an extremely strong commitment to making sure things are done right. Broch, though much younger, is also very bright and dedicated, and you can see how well he and Hasib work together and how Hasib is preparing him to follow in his footsteps. Tristan and Brad provided competent additional support when some extra hands were needed.
A project of this complexity is bound to have a few minor glitches, but the ones that did occur were all handled very promptly and with a professional, “customer first” approach. I would unhesitatingly recommend Veterans Plumbing to anyone. -
Veterans Plumbing was highly recommended to me by my brother and now I am highly recommending Veteran Plumbing to you! Placed an emergency call to them around 10 AM (clogged drain). Professional and caring company. Was told that someone could be at my house between 2 and 4. Bobby called at 11 and said he was on his way. Quick inspection assessing the problem, the water damage, and cleared the clog in record time. Bobby called Apex Restoration and they arrived before he finished his "paperwork". Bobby is a great refelection of Veterans Plumbing, professional, knowledgable, courteous and caring!

Had an absolutely outstanding experience with Veterans to add a half bath to our house. They replaced our hot water heater, and added plumbing for toilet/sink. Had to reschedule a few times due to our travel and work schedules, but Toven was able to work around our schedule, fit himself into the tiniest of spaces in our crawl space, and got everything done quickly and for exactly the same price as the quote - which was given 6 months prior. Highly recommend Veterans as well as Toven!

Your plumber Matthew is why I still have faith in humanity. Because of him I was not stranded as a single mother in the middle of the road. He also was nice enough to take a look at my car that was broken down. This is after in am sure, a long day at work. Because of this interaction if I have plumbing needs I will be calling Veterans plumbing and asking specifically for Matthew. I would trust him to work on any of my household or commercial needs. I can’t thank you enough for your kindness and I can only hope it comes back to you 10 fold.

My wife and I just moved to Star, ID, from Orange County, CA. We have a new home with a tankless water heater and wanted to augment it with a water softener system. We had a soft water system in CA and really liked it, believing that it was better for our skin and better for our plumbing.
I solicited estimates from three companies. I was most impressed with John at Veteran's Plumbing and his presentation. He had a straightforward and no-pressure approach, just giving me the different options that he could provide me in terms of soft water and reverse osmosis. Ultimately, I chose the middle-of-the-road model water softener and opted to wait on the RO system for now.
Ian came out as scheduled to install. He was nice and professional, and it didn't take him long to complete the job. John and I had discussed replacing some galvanized fittings for brass or stainless steel. Ian advised that I could wait on replacing these, as my house was new and not in urgent need. This saved me money, and earned more of my confidence in Veteran's Plumbing.
I would not hesitate to use Veteran's Plumbing again for any future needs. -
Original 1 star rating: We so wanted to give this company a good review. They are veteran owned, and we are a veteran family. Called them on Monday 10/20/25, around 9 am, to discuss a water softener. They scheduled someone to come out on 10/22/25 between 2 and 4 to look at the situation and discuss options. Stayed home all afternoon waiting and they never showed up. No call or text.
First impressions are everything and if we can’t get them to come out to give a quote, what’s it going to be like getting service after they already have the business? Super disappointing.
Revised 4 star rating: Rain called the morning after we posted this review and said there was a mix up. They promptly sent out Matthew to do a quote. Not sure if we are going with them or not but they were courteous, owned up to the mistake and made it right. -
After realizing we were going to have to replace all of our son's polybutylene plumbing underneath his house, we searched and received different quotes from different contractors. The one that stood out to us was Veterans Plumbing. Matt was the most knowledgeable and professional of all the ones we talked with. He answered every concern we had and put our minds at ease. He even lined up the drywall person to finish the work as well. They scheduled us for a possible 4 day project, but it turned out to be just a couple of days. Of all the plumbers in the Treasure Valley, we would have to say that Veterans ranks up there with the best. Their service and work ethic is impeccable. We will definitely go with them again if the need ever comes up. This review was easy to make and will recommend them to anyone having plumbing issues. Thanks again guys! Job well done! 22 September, 2025.

Had the folks from Veterans Plumbing initially out to my house to fix a broken galvanized drain line from my sink/dishwasher. Work was quick and painless and they answered any questions I had.
I live in an old house (built in 1958) so I also had them quote me a repipe of all my existing water lines in my crawl space. It was a mix of original galvanized, copper, poly, handy man fixes, pipes ready to explode, etc. Scott and Bryce came by and did an inspection and estimate of the work needed to repipe. They discussed various options as well as some upgrades for this old house (adding a shutoff valve that wasn't in the crawl space!!!). It was all very low/no pressure and focused on my questions and what made sense to fix. Was an easy decision to go with Veterans.
Bryce came out the day of the repipe first thing to do a walk through with myself and the master plumber Hasib who would do the work. The work was done in two days, very minimal impact to my life while I worked from home, and they packed all the old pipe out of the crawl space!! Hasib did a great job and throughout the work answered any questions and checked in with me before any major decisions.
Veterans has been great to work with. They've answered any questions I had, and I always felt they focused on what repairs or work I genuinely needed rather than just upselling me. I would definitely go with them again. -
