Very responsive. Always knowledgeable and friendly with their service. Used them several times the last 8 years for both heating and A/C issues with an older house. Highly recommend AMK!

Although I respect the owner and their company for previous experience, I would NOT recommend this company anymore! One of their service persons (John) is trying to come as much as he can and charges you for each of his trips and when you call the company they say it is their "POLICY"!
For example at one cold December night when we had a broken circuit breaker in the furnace they sent JOHN. He came and told me what I already knew"melted circuit breaker", and he charged me for what I knew, as his diagnostic charge!!! The day after he came again and used some wires as a temporary solution (which in my opinion could have been done at the first call). So we spent a cold night without heating with an infant (11month) at home.
The second bad experience I had with them was with the same repair person (JOHN) who came for our AC unit, and he did nothing just walked around the unit and spent his time in his van writing some notes for diagnostic and left me with $120 bill, and said there is nothing he can do to fix it and we have to change the unit for ~$1500.

The crazy part is when I asked another repair person (from different company who was working at our neighborhood) to take a look at our unit. He fixed it for less that $200 (he sealed the leak and added new refrigerant). Moreover he found that our capacitor is missing and the wires are misplaced. Meaning JOHN (from AMK) for whatever reason did not put back capacitor back and did not wire it the way it should be. So the $200 I paid, had capacitor and wiring included, because of JOHN'S dishonesty and poor work ethics. So, at the end if you decide to go with this company at least ask them to not send JOHN, unless you want to pay extra for no reason!

Had install done yesterday. Everyone involved from sales to install have been very friendly and knowledgeable. Did not try to up sale me. 2 guys did job in one day. Everything is working great! Great experience!

Darryl and Caden installed a new thermostat for us. It would not play nice with the furnace. They kept working at it and got it to go. No troubles now. I cannot say enough good things about this company!
Now it is September 20, 2022. Dmitri came out and had our AC running withing 15 minutes. You all are on it!!!!

I would highly recommend AMK Heating and Cooling. The staff is extremely friendly, and they work to please! I have used them for several years and can count on their reliability. Service is five star!

I have used AMK services twice. I have nothing but positive things to say about these guys. Excellent customer service, very friendly, honest, etc. Overall good people. They do quality work. Very responsive and quick with repairs.

Cannot say enough good things about AMK , Recently had to replace my AC and Heater called AMK and from the first phone call with Christina ( who was so pleasant and easy to deal with .) til they completed the job , nothing but professional and great customer service … Darryl (the owner)and all around nice guy came by my house talked to me personally and offered to loan me a window unit til they got mine up and running ( How’s that for customer service.) and also told me about a discount through Ameren for going more energy efficient that knocked some dollars off my bill … plus every service technician that worked on this job was polite , very knowledgeable and didn’t mind answering all my questions … I’ve recommended AMK to all my family and friends and now I’m recommending them to the Google universe, if ya need any kind of Heating & Cooling work done call AMK , ya won’t regret it …

Would not recommend this company. Been using them for a year now and every single time there has been an issue getting in contact. Once an appointment was set, more than one time they have just not shown up or cancelled same day. We paid to be a part of their membership, but was never actually able to get them to come out when there was an issue. They just kept saying they were "too busy" or just didn't answer my calls. Was told more than once that they called me to inform me that the technician was on the way and I never picked up so they just never came. But I actually never got a call. We will be going with a different hvac company which is professional, on time, doesn't try to blame no shows on me, and is also actually cheaper.

So ac went out Saturday night June 24th. Woke up Sunday of course to a nice hot home. We've used AMK in the past and was great so called 1st thing Monday morning. They were on point but had to find a unit and then install. Was told with 4th of July holiday and such probably after that. They worked a miracle with 100 degree temps coming they located the correct unit, had an installer here Thursday the 29th and 4hrs later were cool again! Thank you Darryl and crew! You truly show pride in your work and personally came to my home to inspect to make sure all was performed properly! Looking for a terrific, local heating and cooling company.....give them a call! I was looking to use AMK for a second opinion on an issue another company found back in May and establish a maintenance plan. After around 6 phone calls and 2.5 months of “we’ve been very busy, we’ll call you when we have availability”, they finally agreed to schedule the Friday I could stay home from work with an “all day” window and promised someone would come. Once 3:30pm came, I received a phone call that there was no chance of them coming. After close to 3 months of “it’ll be soon, don’t worry!”

I’m sure they’re a great company, but unfortunately I never got to find out. Hopefully they’ll be more reliable with appointments in the future. Their chance of getting 5 stars is “it’ll happen soon, don’t worry!”

This is company is there for its clients. I have been so impressed with the attention to detail and the care shown to us! We had a major gas leak with Ameren ready to shut us down. It was the dead of winter and we would have been without heat! They were at our house in 20 minutes and had the problem taken care of us! The problem required a plumber, but they put a fix on to give us time for the plumber to get there! Would highly recommend AMK! Call me anytime if you need any more information on this company!

AMK has always been very responsive and helpful. Recently had them out to service a non-working AC unit and they were out within 4 hours and had it up and running, on a 95 degree day that was amazing. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I've been a satisfied AMK customer for 10+ years. Recently needed their services for an emergency AC repair, followed several weeks later for regular PM services. On both occasions the staff was prompt, professional, thorough and courteous. Kudos to Darryl and the service team for their great work!

Love them! Very honest and friendly. Not just trying to make a buck. I found a humidifier on Amazon and they told me I should just order it from there since it’s cheaper than what they could sell it for. When it came in, they installed it for me and did a great job!

I am so impressed by AMK heating and Cooling. They are very professional and quick to respond. For starters, the customer service is wonderful. It is hard to find good customer service these days, but this company is great! It is so nice to speak with someone who is friendly and responsive. We are a military family and they were so kind to us, especially when my husband was deployed and I had a heater issue. They sent someone out right away and took care of it. I appreciate them so much and will recommend them to anyone. Thank you again!!

I called this company when my Furnace went out back in October. The technician came by and looked at it, turns out I needed a new furnace. The company found a replacement and was out the next day to replace it. They are a mom and pop style business but make up for it with customer service and knowledge. I will recommend them to anybody especially if your a Veteran such as myself.

I have had the privilege of a business relationship with AMK HVAC for 18+ years. They serviced and maintained my annual 6 months maintenance for my units. I had no issues with my furnace and a few with my AC unit. They were always immediately responsive to service and repairs that were needed for these units.

Recently I sold this home and downsize to a villa. The AC went out within a month. They were so helpful to diagnose the problem and recommend that the 25 year old unit needed replacement (not a surprise sine it was beyond it life span.)

Their staff, office, technicians, installers are thorough, polite, and proficient. I have been blessed to work with AMK HVAC all these years. A small business, locally owned and very focused on customer service and providing outstanding service. I thank them for their professionalism.

We cannot say enough good things about AMK HVAC. We recently bought a house and the sellers had used them and had great service, so they recommended them.
The owner, Darryl personally came out and was very honest and forthright with us. Their office manager, Christina is so pleasant and helpful. She went above and beyond for us. Our technician did a terrific job. He was polite, consciences (he put shoe covers on without even being asked), and very knowledgeable. Great service all the way around.

What to say about AMK--1000% positive. They helped my office out of a bind. I had an important client meeting at our office and the day before the AC died. I was told by unnamed company that outside unit needed replaced which it did but they could not do it on such short notice. Other companies could not respond but AMK came to the rescue. I talked with Darryl in the evening and not only did he send out a great tech in the AM, they had the entire unit replaced and the office cooled for our meeting by 11 am. Professional, courteous, and understanding of customer needs.

I started using AMK for my HVAC service and maintenance more than a year ago and I have been so disappointed. The maintenance package I have learned is on you the customer to schedule - or else they do not come. I had a gas valve need replaced on my Lennox furnace in the dead of winter. They told me it was a unusual furnace and hard to get parts for (2013 model). They ordered the part - didnt overnight it - it took a week while I am trying to keep the home warm with space heaters. 6 months ago I bought another house in Clayton, MO it has the exact same "unusual" furnace. The gas valve went out. A local guy came to look at it told me the valve needed to replaced. He had one in his truck...bc he said it was a common part....

My air conditioner has been leaking since last summer...they (AMK) have been out to fix it a few times. Never fixed - this last time asked me if the water could be from the nearby bathroom......when the drain line is bone dry.....and water all over the floor around the air conditioner.....So I am done...I should have been done over a year ago. Here is my lessons.

1. I should have called and communicated more.
2. I should have not given them so many chances and paid so much money when there are so many options.

Today Anytime Heating and Cooling came out - the guy showed up and wanted to work. He fixed the issue - it was obvious to him that the drain line being dry was not normal. He worked to get the issue resolved. Charged me to the call and the labor and it was less than a maintenance visit with AMK.

The people at AMK have been nice - available when I call...just unable to resolve my issues fully - I haven't felt they have ever executed service to take care of me their customer. Their guys come in and try to get out without following through to see if the issue was actually fixed...not once....we has resulted in multiple visits.

I have left only one other negative review in my life...unfortunately I felt I had to warn others of my experience.

AMK's quality of service and transparency are second to none. Their service technicians are intelligent and careful to protect our home when working inside. They informed me of the cost of repairing my very old system and provided an estimate for a new system. They took the time to discuss both options with me and patiently answered all my questions. I chose the new system and we were up and running on it in two days.
