WC Borchelt came today (the coldest day ever!) within 2-3 hours. We had a service tech SO polite and informative as he worked on our furnace for almost 2 hours and got my 2009 furnace up and running. He also spoke to me about their yearly service policy for our heating and cooling system. His name is “Boston” and 3 cheers to him and his professional service. I want to sign up for the service, as I have been using WCBorchelt for years now and I’ve recommended them to friends and family. I think it’ll be well worth my years subscription! Hayden showed up only two hours after our early morning call for service on our non-operating heating system. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had us up and running within an hour. Very much appreciated as it was single digit wind chills at the time. Hayden was polite, professional, and efficient. I continue to be impressed with WC Borchelt! Thank you!

We can’t recommend Borchelt enough!! They are professional, punctual, and thorough in estimate, repair and follow ups. Borchelt did the most amazing job on my bathroom remodel. They took care of everything from taking out the old cast iron bathtub and replacing it, new plumbing, electrical, and even drywall work. They were timely and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone!

If I could give zero stars I would. They measured the duct work wrong. Then they did the estimate wrong. Then they lied to me. On top of that they destroyed a stink pipe and messed up the roof jack. For said stink pipe by grabbing on to it to walk a floor joist to do the estimate. The individual bared down full body weight and almost face planted as well taking the stink pipe with him. When it actually came time for them to do the job. The first apt was canceled and a no show by them. Then they rescheduled. Believe it or not a second no show no call. I would not be trusting ANYTHING with these people. By the way I took the time to write this while dealing with the repairs. So I paused. To spare other people grief. Below you will find my handy work and the duct work all sealed and ready to function by myself … the homeowner. The guts of the duct work was repaired REPAIRED not replaced by a friend of mine who is retired from the HVAC Profession. Pic 1 repair. Pic 2 repair of duct work. THEY said it couldn’t be done. And replacement would be needed. Third pic is me the homeowner whom insulated and encased the duct work for a nice finish. TOTAL JOB TIME 8 HOURS start to finish with overkill on insulation and encasement of the duct work. There price quote was questionable at $1500 plus and I was told “not really sure on the price”. Then I was also told “not really sure but guessing 24 man hours to do duct work “. I don’t need guess work. I certainly don’t take kindly to the attempt to rip off me a homeowner. Spare yourself the headache. Look else where.

Hayden was very polite, respectful and fixed my bathroom vent pipe in no time. Showed me before and after pictures and I was very happy with the job he did. He also made sure the vent had a proper ventilation. Kelly kept me informed on when I should expect the crew to come and was very efficient with putting me on schedule!

I was shocked to find out after my furnace fall check up that they are charging 50% more than in 2016. I was with Yahne Heating who merged with Freedom and am told I was being charged the Freedom price. Well I don’t who gets Freedom, it’s sure not the customer and I will no longer be able to use them. Way out of my budget.

This place will talk you into financing thru them,do the work,then give you the ridiculous numbers that you were financed at.
The salesman do not tell you your going to pay a annual interest,as well as a daily 5$aday interest. Lesson learned,back to not trusting😡. Freedom,you know your scamming people,when you don't discuss any numbers of payment until after all work is finished.

Air condition diagnosis on a Monday for not working was it needed a "hard start" & part would need to be ordered from Fort Wayne...would probably be Wed before it was received & could be installed. We were going to Fort Wayne...offered to pick up the part but was told that couldn't be done. Was disappointed in the length of time it took for repair during extremely hot, muggy days. We know for a fact other companies carry "hard starts" on their truck. Five weeks before when it was serviced we mentioned it wasn't cooling right...inside humidity would actually raise while air conditioner was on. When I mentioned water wasn't coming out of the drain I was told it didn't necessarily mean anything...I know better than that & felt like I was being "dismissed". Due to our age, during cold weather we can't afford to take a chance on being without heat for that length of time. Guess we should look for a different provider.

Well. What do I say. In November I had to have my sewer main replaced they gave a quote we were given a max price the job would not exceed. The job was started on a Tues. And then was told they needed an additional $2,000. I told him that money just simply doesnt exist. Then I was asked if I could pay $1200 and I told him the same thing.
Finally 2 days later they finished the job on budget. well... mostly. Here it is MAY and I still have clay tile and tree roots sticking up out of my yard and just mounds of dirt.
After multiple emails to them it was told to us it would be taken care of and another going on 3 weeks and another email still nothing and I am fed up.

Very poor service and high price for the poor service provided. One week before Christmas was told the bill would be $360.75 to install a pressure switch. That wasn't the problem. It was a short in the induced draft blower. Then was told "this is a $1000 piece from us, maybe a new furnace is in order. Left with no heat at 6:00pm. Freedom called at 7:30 next morning and wanted to set up a time for there sales team to "go over options". BTW check cleared 12/24/2018. Lol lesson learnt. Called Talton next day had furnace going in an hour and he stated walking out my door. "I'll bill ya".

What a wonderful, trustworthy and professional company freedom heating is! They were always on time, straight forward and honest! We will be a returning costumer for our future updates to our home! Thank you so much for your service!

After buying a new house, we found out the air conditioning did not work. Freedom came out and serviced it right away, just in time for the beginning of the hottest days of the month. Taylor was thorough, prompt, and professional. I reommend him and Freedom to anyone that has air conditioning issues.

Just purchased a brand new home with Freedom furnace and water heater. Called emergency line 9 times and it went straight to voicemail. House is brand new and units are brand new and I got home (19 degrees outside) and neither units are working. I’m a local business owner and take pride for my customer service but I’m very thrown off as to why both units aren’t functioning but yet there is a huge sticker for emergency contact number for freedom slapped on the front of both. I didn’t call anyone names, but after calling all the numbers shown over and over I have no choice but to pay another business to fix these new units.

Freedom sends Dustin as my home heating/cooling expert. I could not be happier! He suggested getting my AprilAire units back up & running. He put in-line filters to soften the water going in them. We had our furnace blower malfunction during one of the hottest days of the year and Toby sent over a guy right away. Please bear in mind this was at 8pm and my family has been totally "WOWED" but their response. As expected the parts we needed were at the warehouse and were picked up the following morning only to be installed immediately. I do work in retail and customer service is a high standard that I hold dear to my heart for all of my clients. Toby and his staff do the very same things for all of their clients. My hat is off to them and I'm grateful to do business with someone local that takes this core value to work/home with them everyday of the year.
