I'll start with the positive. They were able to fix my clothes washer. However, the technician did not come during the assigned 3 hour time slot. He showed up 30 minutes after the assigned 3 hour window. He then did not have the correct part to fix the washer. He said he would get the part and come back the next day. The next day came and he never came back. I called late in the day and he said he would call me back because he was busy. It took 5 days before he called back. He then came out 2 days later and while doing the repair he spilled so much water it went through the floor on the second story and started leaking through the ceiling light fixtures on the first floor. Through all of that, they gave me $10 off my $300+ bill. I thought it was all done until my credit card bill came the next month and I was charged twice. Therefore, I had to call them and have them refund one of the charges. The office did apologize but that it too little and too late.

Brad was spectacular. Showed up on time, quickly identified the issue with my dryer and fixed it all for a very reasonable cost.

A service technician came to inspect a rattle that my 2 year old dryer was making. After taking a look at the dryer he said he didn't see anything wrong with it and charged me the $69.95 service fee. The rattling continued and when I called back in they said there was nothing they could do and to try and contact the manufacturer to see if it was still under warranty. I called another company and they came out and identified the faulty part and was able to replace it within a week. It is frustrating to me that I had to pay the service fee a second time with another company and start the process all over. If you are unable to find a problem you shouldn't charge the customer.

My first time using them and would not consider anyone else. Neighbor recommended them after I could not get service for several days from my usual company. I was amazed at the professionalism from the worker that came. Very smooth and quick response. They have now become my number one option for my appliances. Thank you!!

The receptionist was really nice, which set the tone, being already stressed at the thought of losing food. Then Brad showed up! "Awesome" guy! Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and thorough. Reasonable charge, but I would have gladly paid more for what I got--honest assessment, measurements to replace unit, suggestions of brands to buy, and not to buy. Thanks, Brad (RING RING😊)!

Brad just came out. I live in a 1957 home with all eras of updates. My wife and I within the last year installed oak flooring in the kitchen. This same oak flooring made it impossible to take out dishwasher out. Brad pointed out that the fill hose to my dishwasher had simply popped off. We had the option to take off our newly installed granite countertops, or cut a hole in the side of our 1957 metal cabinets to access the fix. Brad pointed out how I should go about this fix, left without charging me a dime, and I actually got the fix done. Brads honesty will cause me to call Broad Ripple service next time.

Had a great experience with this company for my dryer repair. I found them through Angie’s List, requested a quote yesterday, Brad called yesterday evening, and when we connected this morning, he made a suggestion that could have saved me a service call. Turns out I needed a service call, and he was able to come today! Brad was professional and quick! He showed me what was wrong with the dryer, and explained why it was happening. I’m glad he stuck the company’s magnet on my appliance before he left because I will definitely have them back; heck, I’ve already recommended them to a friend. 🙂

My electric dryer quit producing heat. I called Broad Ripple to request a service call and Brad came out the very same day. He was very thorough. He replaced the faulty parts and cleaned out the interior of the dryer. He was very efficient. He answered all of my questions. I couldn't ask for a better experience. The service charge and price for the parts was more than reasonable (and was much cheaper than purchasing a new dryer). I will absolutely use Broad Ripple's services the next time one of my appliances fail.

This is my first experience with Broad Ripple Appliance Center which I found to be outstanding and above reproach. The washer and dryer I purchased were in almost perfect condition. The in-store personnel were very professional and courteous. My products were delivered and installed with the utmost of personal care. I give Broad Ripple Appliance a five star rating because they are a company who cares. Give them a try, I gurantee you will be satisfied!

When our dryer drum stopped rotating it felt like the end of the world. My husband called the first number he found, a poorly rated company that ended up in the news for scamming their customers. I found Broad Ripple Appliance an checked all of the reviews. The reviews were correct, Brad was fantastic, professional, expedient, and even came back two days later to diagnose a separate issue for no charge. If any other appliance falls apart they will definitely be the first place I go for help. Give them a try, I highly recommend them.

Brad from Broad Ripple Appliance was freaking awesome. Out quickly, patient about a little issue on my end (gave him the wrong door code), and had my dryer up and running in a few hours. Super reasonable rate too - somewhere around $200 out the door. Will definitely be calling back.

I spoke with Brad this morning after my refrigerator stopped working overnight. He was one of the most hopeful people in a chaotic situation for me. He went out of his way to help identify my refrigerator and diagnose what could be wrong. He even recommended some other service providers to check in with. He helped me make a decision based on manufacturer and age to go ahead and get a new one. All of this was going above and beyond, even when he knew his company wouldn’t benefit. I can’t recommend these guys enough, and will be calling them in the future for all of my appliance needs and services!

    Pros:
    Quick to schedule
    Wonderful receptionist

    Cons:
Brad--angriest critter I've ever met. Literally, angry for no cause (hopefully after reading this he will be nice to people or at least grow a soul).

    Why was Brad so terrible:
    1. Called to have dryer repaired. My spouse had been advised to take the back off of the dryer (not by this company though). This was unfortunately bad advice because when Brad showed up he flipped out acting as if my spouse was Judas actively betraying Jesus. Literally, my husband only took off the rear piece and didn't touch anything internally, and Brad acted as if my husband had tore the entire dryer apart, took a bowel movement inside of the dryer, and then expected Brad to make it all better. Brad panicked "I know when to back away from something. I'm not getting involved with putting your husbands mess back together." There wasn't a mess. The screws were bagged and everything was put back together. It took the other repair agency 5 mins to put it back together. So difficult....for Brad. By the way, Brad was only at my home for less than 5 minutes (because my audio recording was only 1:42 long and I started that after he entered my home. So glad he can back away from a problem so quickly without looking at it).

If only Brad would have said, "I'm sorry but I'm not able to work on a dryer that has already been tampered with by your spouse, etc" or been more professional I would have understood and accepted that he couldn't help me or wasn't able. I get it because maybe he's been screwed by bad customers in the past and was taking precautions. However, even as I adamantly explained that I just wanted his assistance he became even more irrational. He refused to assist me. And then he just left. I ended up voice recording our transaction because he was just such a jerk. I wish I would have videotaped it for someone to see his whiny face and hand movements. Basically, Brad was upset because he didn't want to work on Friday. He didn't charge me a service fee (surprisingly) but that would have involved more work and well that's not for him.

    2. Just came unannounced into my home. However, I understand why he did this now because he's angry at life as he doesn't know how to be professional or respect boundaries.

    3. Unprofessional and just a jerk. Learn some tact and some flexibility for that matter.

This is probably a great company but if Brad is your technician make sure you don't ask for him on a Friday....especially after 1...

Went with another company who came out and fixed the dryer 2 hrs later without complaint.

I called about a refrigerator issue because I had used them in the past. They said that they were not experts in my particular issue and immediately told me to call another local company, providing the name and phone number. They could have come out and charged me, but were honest and felt that someone else could help me more. I really appreciate their honesty and recommendation!

Brad is one of the rudest business owners I've ever encountered. I manage rentals, and we've used Broad Ripple Appliance for years. Yes, he shows up and does the job and does it well, but these last two repairs he has just repaired the appliances without calling me first to explain the problem so I have a chance to decide if I want to repair or replace. When I called him out about it this time, he became very rude with me, which isn't the first time. Maybe he thinks because I'm a woman he won't get any pushback, but that's not the case. Obviously I'm finding a different appliance repair company to work with.

Brad came out within 24 hours. I could immediately tell he knew his stuff while on the call explaining the issue. He explained everything in layman’s terms (what he was going to do, what he thought was wrong and what was wrong), which I thoroughly appreciated.

I was very impressed with the service at Broad Ripple Appliance. Beth Ann was great. I had to wait a few days for an appointment, but it was not a big deal. Tech Brad even called two days prior to the scheduled date to see if I was available earlier. Brad did a very professional job, repaired an electrical plug and belt in just a few minutes and even leveled my washer without me asking.
I will definitely call them again when needed.

We called Broad Ripple Appliance after our washing machine stopped working. Brad came by the same day, diagnosed the issue, and suggested we purchase a new washing machine rather than fix the old one. Brad even walked us through the best options for new appliances. He was very knowledgeable, honest, thorough, and professional. We’ll be using Broad Ripple Appliance for all of our appliance needs going forward. Brad was awesome!

I can't speak highly enough about Brad at Broad Ripple Appliance. He knows his business, explains things thoroughly, and gives you exactly what you need. He's a gem. And the company's pricing is more than fair.

Brad called back quickly, diagnosed the problem with my washing machine and even gave me tips on what to do. He could have made money repairing my old machine, but with all the info he provided I realized it’s better to get a new one. Super helpful and will def use him in the future.
