Appliance Repair reviews in Indianapolis, Indiana

I needed a new lid on my Samsung washer. Turner Appliance was quick to order the part I needed, and scheduled me ASAP for repair. Technician was very friendly, respectful, and got the job done in hardly any time at all. No mess left behind, he took the old parts and boxes with him. Highly recommend, and will definitely be a repeat customer when needed!

Our Tech Josh was friendly and well versed in dryer function and operation. He diagnosed the problem right away and had the parts on his truck. He completed the work quickly. The pricing was less than expected and the dryer works great. Id recommend Turner to anyone I know.

Amazing Service! Quoted the job and then after completion of the part, ended up charging less!! Very honest, will always recommend and use again!!

After dealing with a totally absurd situation with a new stove, GE & their "certified technicians" we were finally able to take matters in our own hands and call Turner. The scheduling was a breeze and super timely. Thomas (Tom) was our technician and was awesome. He got our 2nd new stove(😜) converted from NG to LP without an issue. Great service from start to finish. Thanks!!

READ the bad Reviews before using! there is a pattern. The staff is the most incredibly rude I have ever dealth with. We called them to fix a squeaky pulley on our dryer. After "fixing it" the dryer no longer heated up. We called them and they came back out but we had to wait a week after waiting a week for the first repair, so that is two weeks without a dryer. They "fixed" it again but 6 weeks later it stopped heating again. They would not prioritize our repair despite this obviously being their error and the staff in the office is SO disgruntled. I called 3 times asking for a manager to call me back. He was always "out of the office" or "on the phone". We eventually had to wait out the appointment they gave us. The repairman was extremely rude and tried to blame it on us. He also informed us that he should not have charged us for the pulley as it was under warranty and that he "got yelled at" by the owner for doing so. At least they didn't charge us to fix it this time but I have a bad feeling I will just need to replace this dryer after they touched it. It is only 5 years old but its not worth it to have these clowns in my home again. I can only conclude based on my experience, the repairman's words and the other reviews that this company is poorly run from top to bottom. Stay away.

Tried to call and schedule a repair with them. They said they weren't going to work with us because we had outstanding bills with them. Called corporate office to figure out what was going on. They called and were told they couldn't speak to a manager and that they weren't working with us because it took us too long to pay the bills (We are net 30). This was a shock as they had our credit card on file and were supposed to charge the card when the job was complete and email us the invoice. Then they said they have never been to our apartment complex before, which was a lie. Asked to speak to the manager again and was told that the manager didn't want to speak with us. Extremely unprofessional. Found an email setting up the account with them. Found an email where they sent all of our invoices over showing they were paid with credit cards. Sent this all to them showing that we in fact paid our bills, and they have been to our complex. Hopefully, the next time they lie, they get some truth in there as well.

I've been meaning to write a review for a while. Our dryer started making a lot of loud, grating, rumbling sounds. My wife contacted Turner Appliance. We had an initial visit within the week (back in July), and the technician, Josh, was right on time. Josh was friendly, efficient, and professional. He believed, based on our description, that it would be a certain type of problem, which matched what my totally amateur investigative efforts on Google anticipated. On inspection, he realized it was a rarer problem: the blower wheel of our dryer was broken. While he was prepared to fix the expected problem, he had to get a part ordered. Even so, he was back out within a few days, as they were quick to reschedule. He also warned us about the danger of using the dryer until it was fixed--not only would it not be drying as efficiently, but it was more likely to start a fire. On the follow-up appointment day, he quickly repaired the part and was again friendly and professional. Total cost was very reasonable too. Now the dryer runs quietly and well. We're very happy with the level of service provided and the results!

My refrigerator compressor stopped, I presented the problem item to the rep there but actual part was not available. The gentleman presented me with and alternative and installation instructions and viola..
If your having any problem with an appliance make Turner Appliance your first stop.. -
Have used Turner Appliance Repair several times over the past 20+ years, with good results. However, in June they replaced a defective hinge on our GE double oven, which is used infrequently. The hinge is already sticking like it did prior to the repair. The new hinge carries a 3 year warranty but Turner only warrants their work for 30 days and is demanding an $85 fee to return to investigate the problem. The manager was extremely rude when we expressed frustration with paying $85 to correct a poor repair job! Needless to say, we will no longer do business with Turner Appliance Repair and would no recommend them!

I am not from the area and I made a post on a local page asking who people recommend, I think there was 52 comments and 46 of them were Turner Appliance!
I quickly gave them a call and they did not disappoint! Thomas is who I worked with and I have nothing but great things to say about him, extremely professional and friendly, he was great! I would recommend them to anyone and definitely will go to them for any future needs! -
Excellent service and skilled team. Turner was the fourth company I called, and I wish I called them first. Jeff is very knowledgeable and helped me make the best decision. I felt like he cared about what was best for us, and the service fee was economical relative to the level and quality of the service. Working with him and the rest of the team made me want to give the company more business. I will call Turner Appliance first next time.

Friendly people who care and stand behind their products. They give a 60 day guarantee on all their stuff, which is very generous.
Today upon delivery, the man delivering our new washer and dryer said, "you're all the reason we have a job doing this. If it weren't for you guys, we wouldn't have this work to do. That's something our owner impresses upon us often." That goes a long way with me.
Will be using them again next time we find ourselves looking for trustworthy used appliances. -
We have a front load washer that needed a new seal… Tom and Brent were great! Replaced it quickly and tested to make sure there were no leaks! They were honest and friendly and I would highly recommend them! Thanks!

They were able to come the next day to fix our washer. Steve was even able to come 6 hours early which meant the world during stomach bug. They were in and out in 30 minutes. I hope to not need them in the future but I’d use and recommend them.

We were very pleased with Turner! They were able to come to our home to fix our dryer within 24 hours of contacting them. The service person had great customer service and fixed the issue quickly. The cost was also very reasonable and he did not try to upsell us. I would highly recommend!

Recently I called Turner repair to service on our dryer that was making a noise. Turner repair personnel arrived and despite not listening to my recommendation so that I could replicate the noise, made a recommendation to replace four rollers. The repair technician said that he was surprised that they needed to be replaced due to the age of the dryer. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue nor did the repair person runs the dryer in my presence so I could confirm that the repair was effective. I scheduled a follow up repair and I had a very similar situation still without repair. However, this time, I noticed that a floor tile in the laundry room was broken. I then contacted the Turner Appliance call center and shared that 1) the dryer was still not repaired and 2) their technician broke a floor time. The call center personal asked me to send pictures and that a manager would call me back.
Despite the call center person telling me that I would get a call, I did not, rather I received and email which essentially said "Turner appliance repair personnel are honest and his repair person denied causing any damage to the floor" - insinuating that I was being dishonest. He went on to say that the individual who laid the tile "did not do a very good job". How dare you blame tile instillation which was completed 9 years ago, having zero issues with the tile until your repair person visited. A very poor response from a a manager. Additionally, I responded to his email with additional follow up and the manager did not respond.
After purchasing 2 refrigerators, 1 washer and 2 dishwashers and being a loyal Turner repair customer, I will look elsewhere for my appliances and repairs. Based the review below mine, this appears to be an unfortunate trend. Buyer beware! -
I called them for a condenser dryer repair. The technician showed up looked at and said it was a disconnected hose and left. First cycle of the dryer and the issue was still present. Called again and the same tech came back out the next day. This time I was told it was a motor and 2 fans. I was told that they would have to take my dryer to their shop to for 2 weeks! Just to work on it! I asked if that meant I would have no way to dry my clothes for 2+ weeks and the response I got was “yeah, if you want it fixed”. I have never heard of a repair service taking your appliance! I would be cautious of anyone saying they have to take your major appliance and keep it to repair it.

Turner has been great for us over the years with our old Maytag washer and dryer. Each time we've had issues, Thomas our technician has been quick, friendly, explains the issues, and gives us options. We definitely would recommend Turner for quality work at a fair price.

Turner came to repair my very old Duet front-load washer. After attempting to locate the part needed, they discovered it was discontinued. I purchased one of their referb washer/dryer sets (Maytag) and they both work great, even has larger capacities. The team was professional and prompt. I always recommend Turner to friends and family 👍.
