Appliance Repair reviews in Indianapolis, Indiana

Thank you Brent for outstanding service! My dishwasher was the victim of a DIY attempt to fix the top rack. After a couple weeks of handwashing all of our cups I asked my trusted real estate professionals, the Evelo Team, for a recommendation for appliance repair. Turner was able to send Brent to my home within a couple of days and he explained what was needed and how to avoid the issue in the future. The night before he returned with the parts, my sink drain became an under sink waterfall. Brent's skill set meant that he was able to fix that issue in the same visit. I am so impressed and will recommend their service to anyone in need!

They were so great and got a tech out the same day that I called after another company didn’t show up. Bill was my tech and he was amazing! Very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. He knew very quickly what the issues were with my fridge and was back in a couple days with the parts to fix it. Repair price was very reasonable and the job was completed quickly. I will definitely be using them anytime we need appliance repair!

My oven stopped heating and Turner Appliance was able to come out same day to diagnose ($85 service charge). Part was ordered and came in two days (Friday) and they were able to schedule me for repair the following Monday. Bill was very nice and professional with both visits. Glad to have a working oven again.

I had a microwave panel that had fading numbers. The technician said he had to order a part this was June 4, 2025. I never heard from him again and when I called Turner Appliance I was given the runaround but they had my $95.00 service fee for doing absolutely nothing!

The initial call to schedule time was good. Miguel from Tuner appliance came at a reasonable time during the day and was courteous, thorough, and explained the why on the appliance issue I was having in terms I got. He was able to knock the problem out in almost no time. If you see this and want to call them, ask for Miguel, because he's awesome! Team Miguel!

I was referred to Turner after feeling like another company was charging too much. From the first inquiry, to the repair, I was so thankful for their kindness, candor, and transparency. I did have to wait a 4 business days to get the referred technician Miguel, and it was well worth the wait. His transparency, educational demeanor, and positive attitude made me feel at ease with my choice. The repair was the heating element in a Samsung dryer. And the repair cost was less than half of the other appliance company I had originally connected with. Miguel helped me understand more of the industry lingo to better inquire about the cost of services. Should I need it, I will certainly be using Turner Appliances in the future, and Miguel is the man!

Turner came on time and fixed my dryer quickly. The cost was $200 dollars less than the competition. Not to mention they didn’t try to sell me parts I didn’t need or warranties!

After dealing with two unreliable companies to put a part on my washer, I was referred to Turner Appliance. They were able to get someone out two days later during a time that best worked my schedule. The repairman was friendly and very informative as I have no clue about appliances. He found out the part was not the issue. It was a much bigger issue. He did have me pay $95 but told me that if I called to get a used washer, they would knock off the $95 towards the price! I was able to call and get a used washer for $341. The two men came in, took the other washer free of charge, and installed the new one. They didn't leave until they made sure it worked. They were friendly. I can say I will be using Turner Appliance for future appliance needs.

I scheduled a diagnostic appointment with Turner Appliance for a dryer and refrigerator issue. The technician arrived last Thursday about 30 minutes past the scheduled window, which disrupted a business call with my manager. I had already purchased replacement parts for the dryer (a heating element and thermal fuse), but the technician’s diagnostic process was minimal. He turned the dryer on and off and opened and closed the door. He concluded the blower and heating element were the issue, but did not fix the heating element while he was there. He then spent approximately 20 minutes on a phone call in my basement.
The refrigerator diagnosis was similarly brief, consisting only of opening and closing the door. I was charged a $95 diagnostic fee, and the written summary was difficult to read. I paid by check and was told I’d receive a quote the following day (Friday), but didn’t hear back until Tuesday.
After consulting with a contractor friend, I was advised that the diagnostic process sounded insufficient, and they questioned why the technician didn’t install the part I had already purchased. I sent a letter of concern to the owner/manager and received a call back from Rick. Unfortunately, the conversation was not constructive. Rick was defensive, emphasized the technician’s years of experience, and dismissed my concerns without allowing much dialogue. His tone was assertive in a way that felt uncomfortable, and he declined to refund the diagnostic fee, instead citing the company’s history of positive reviews.
While I respect experience and understand that diagnostics can vary, I did not feel that the service I received was thorough or customer focused. I regularly write positive reviews when service is excellent, but in this case, I cannot recommend Turner Appliance based on both the technician’s minimal approach and the follow-up interaction with management.
If your appliance is more than halfway through its expected lifespan, it may be more cost-effective to replace it rather than hire a repair service. With diagnostic fees like $95 and additional charges for parts and labor, the total cost of repair can quickly exceed the value of the appliance. -
I walked in there at 8:04 this morning in order to get a dryer belt. I talked with the gentleman and he was able to pull the belt prior to even looking up the number. He then proceeded to give information on changing the belt. I am so grateful. I fixed the belt and now my dryer is working. So grateful

I took my dishwasher in to their shop on Meridian to get repaired, unfortunately they lacked the knowledge or willingness to attempt to fix the dishwasher.
The dishwasher ran but wan was not cleaning the dishes. I told the repairman my issues, not cleaning, especially the top rack, still seemed very wet inside (it used to be dry when it worked properly). They held on to it for a few days and ran “tests”, when they were done they called and said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it, said “can’t fix what ain’t broke” and told me it doesn’t have a glass door so they can’t see what’s going on inside but it sounds like it’s working. I asked if they tried putting dirty dishes in to see if they came clean, you know do some troubleshooting, try to narrow down the issue and was told they don’t have dirty dishes so they can’t try that. That was it, that was the extent of their effort.
Overall, I paid them $75 to plug it in and say it runs, throw their hands up and say they can’t figure it out. -
Do not recommend. I called because my refrigerator wasn’t working. They sent a tech out who was at my house less than 5 minutes, listened to the refrigerator and opened the door and told me it was the compressor, that they don’t do compressor repairs, and that I now owed them $95.He offered a meager $5 discount when I complained.
When I scheduled the appointment and described the issue it should have been disclosed that they were not able/willing to fix compressor issues. Feels like a money grab for the service fee when they are not capable of doing the repair. Will steer clear of this repair shop for any future needs. -
In the past year, we have had Nate from Turner Appliance out to repair a washer seal and replace the rollers on our dryer. The work was fairly priced, done well and he could not have been more professional. We have been very happy with this company.

Turner Appliance was not my first call. Two other companies asked for my make and model info and that was enough to stop them from setting the appointment. Turner set the appointment their $95 house call seemed high but I thought if they are the best that should charge so I set the appointment. The tech showed and looked less than 2 minutes and stated that they can’t work on our model. They are not an appliance repair company the y are just appointment setters that try to get out of the house as quick as possible.

I am a loyal customer of Turner Appliance! We have bought a couple washers and dryers from them over the past 12 years. Great prices and great service! Our most recent dryer we purchased stopped working after a few days. We took it back and explained what the issue was and that we tried troubleshooting it ourselves. Charlie said they would try to fix it or replace our dryer since it was still within the warranty window. He fixed the issue the same day! We so appreciate him and his hard work! God bless Turner Appliance!

We had two separate appliance service needs (drier and ice maker) this past month. We were pleased with the quality of service and the pleasant demeanor of the serviceman. We had a drier and an ice maker repaired - both over 10 years old.
Turner was suggested by the business (Superior) that formerly provided service for our appliances. (Superior said hat they only do HVAC work now.) -
We love Turner! In recent years we've used them to fix our dryer, dishwasher, fridge and most recently our double wall oven. The wall oven was especially challenging because of an issue with the replacement parts from the manufacturer. Our technician Jeff was OUTSTANDING at being patient and following through to get the oven back working. Well done!!

This place is a scam. On first, appointment they took $600 for a part for my washer and made us wait for whole after saying 3 days, without any notice or contact. Next appointment, they put the part. Washer still didn’t and said nothing. We have been waiting for 2 weeks now, if no update or any sort of notice from their side. Customer have to initiate the communication and they don’t follow up after saying that they will. They are rude too.

I scheduled a repair of my dishwasher for a Friday afternoon. They didn't show up. I called to find out what happened (because they did not contact me), and they told me they wouldn't be able to send anyone for the appointment!
I rescheduled for Monday. David, the technician, was at my house for less than 5 minutes (most of which was spent writing up and collecting the $90 service fee). He said that I needed a part that was not available from the manufacturer and I should buy a new dishwasher.
I contacted the manufacturer, and they had the part available. So I called JBN and asked to have them send a different service tech to do the repair since David didn't have my full trust at this point. They said I could have David do the repair or pay $90 to have a different tech come out (either way I obviously would have to pay for the repair). I rescheduled with David.
I was given a 3-hour window for when David would arrive at my house to perform the repair. He didn't show up. I called JBN and this time I spoke to the owner to make sure she was aware how badly they were treating me. She defended all their actions and was no help whatsoever. In fact, when I told her I was going to give them a bad review, she canceled the appointment.
Do not use this place. They are not trustworthy and you may never get your appliance repaired. All they do is take your money and waste your time. I wish I had read the review where the person wanted to give this place -10 rating before I wasted my own time and money here.
