Our pipes burst in our home over Christmas while we were out of town. Rotorooter was out to our place to mitigate damage and get our water back on asap. Great service all around.

Rylee came out for an estimate on replacing our toilet and we could not have asked for a better technician! He was very courteous and the visit felt very personalized. The business needs more people like Rylee!

I placed a call on a Sunday to receive assistance with a clogged pipe somewhere in the house that led to no draining and water backing up in the kitchen and bathrooms throughout. When I called, I spoke to a very kind man, Eric. You could hear that he wore a smile on his face, was very polite, not pushy at all and offered same day service. Although I was very surprised and thankful that Rotor Rooter had openings on a Sunday, it didn't work for me. Eric offered Monday openings that worked great. I received a confirmation email within minutes. On Monday, I answered a call from Jesse to inform me that the service repair person was on their way and would arrive within 30 minutes. Jesse was an absolute pleasure to work with as I had to give her specific instructions which she sent to the service person with no delay. Following the instructions from Jesse, Dominic arrived early! I felt completely comfortable with him as soon as he walked through my door. We had a conversation regarding what the problem at hand and Dominic showed to be very patient and thorough as to the steps he would take and gave me options and pricing. He wasted no time to getting to work and solved the problem within an hour from start to finish! I couldn't believe it! I was shocked! Dominic was incredible! Patient, not pushy, more than kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and detailed with a complete clean up! What I thought would be a task that would require additional service, money and more time out of my day, I found that I worried for nothing and my experience couldn't have been any better! Roto Rooter went above and beyond my expectations, Literally! I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone! I've worked in customer service scheduling appointments and relaying information over phones, text and email for over 30 years. I want every person to know that your Roto Rooter team is impeccable! I'm extremely picky when it comes to customer service as I've prided myself to give the absolute best customer service myself. The team of Roto Rooter will show you from the first phone call to the service person driving away that you made a fantastic choice to use their service and the teamwork was seamless!

I had a clog in my bathroom in between the toilet and sink. I didn't have much knowledge in plumbing, but Dominic from the Grand Rapids office was very professional , knowledgeable, and patient. He explained the issue I was having very clearly for me, and he did the work quickly. Roto rooter sent a professional the same day I called and had issues taken care of within a few hours. We had an issue with critters in our sump pump. I called and they sent Andrew out first thing the next morning. He cleaned everything out, replaced our sump pump and went the extra mile to help us see how they may be getting in. Andrew was kind, helpful and knowledgeable! Grateful for the quick response and professional service!

Kitchen sink was plugged after dinner on Monday night, both sides, garbage disposal, dishwasher. After spending two hours going through the multiple steps on my end to clear it, no luck. Called the next morning, and they sent a tech out within 30 minutes. Andrew came out. He was prompt, and diagnosed the problem within minutes. He was very professional, but also fun and engaging. Problem solved in 30 minutes! Andrew is a rockstar! Highly recommend the service if you can afford it.

Andrew was great and friendly and very thorough with his work keeping a clean work space during this process. Customer service is a big deal. David, Dylan and Dominic absolutely delivered. There were no gimmicks, or hidden fees, just honest and helpful dialogue. I had a truly fantastic experience! I had an issue with my water heater flipping the breaker so I set up an appointment with Roto-Rooter. I was able to do it online and it was super straight forward and they were able to come out right away that day. Also, they let me know 30 minutes in advance when they were coming. The technician who came out was David and he was incredibly helpful. He was very personable and friendly. He helped explain things very clearly and went above and beyond to make sure that my situation was taken care of. He also showed the ways that I could properly maintain my water heater. You could tell that he genuinely cares about helping people with their plumbing issues.

I called them to check what they charge to clear a clogged drain. They said they charge a flat fee. I asked what the fee is but they wouldn't tell me. They said the technician who will come will tell me. What???

Called in for service on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. I had a call back in a timely manner. Andrew showed up in the expected time frame. Andrew was professional and personable. He worked with me to survey the system to find the least disruptive approach to my clogged sewer drainage. Once he cleared the clog he then worked with me making sure all water flowed freely. I would be happy to have him come out again if needed.

William and Dillon went above and beyond to help my son and after purchasing a mobile home and a few days later the sewage pipe broke leaving underneath a total disaster. Each step was explained and each service was line up in a quick fashion to get the place back to working order. Thank you William and Dillon!

At 4am when you wake up and realize your basement has some backup bacteria infested water issues the Roto Rooter on Clay Ave in Grand Rapids is the place to call because of two employees: Richard and Leo. Roto Rooter was at our home very quickly with the initial inspection by a professional woman who was on point with everything with insurance to what to expect. What I didn’t expect to see coming was the amazing work done by Leo and Richard from absolutely cleaning all water damage and issues, moving furniture and cutting out carpet to walls that were damaged! These two guys belong in the Avengers, and as far as I am concerned , all you need to do is call Roto Rooter on Clay in Wyoming and ask for help and it is like an entire team shows up and make sure Richard and Leo are there !! Water was everywhere and below is the work of Richard and Leo as well as the Jet pump tech and the sales team!!!

I would not recommend this company. They have a “$1500 minimum” as I was told. Who I would recommend is David. He looked at the same job and said he could do it for 1/3rd the price. He did a great job. So, in fixing any of your plumbing work he’s the guy, if I were you, I would find David. He did the job well, at an honest I know he doesn’t want me to say it but he also trained the people who gave me the original quote.

Would NOT recommend. The first tech addressed something that was not an issue, charged $200 for it, and had to call someone else. That guy was supposed to run a drain snake through but had to use a small size because it wouldnt fit the pvc pipes at the kitchen sink. After he failed to clear it, he immediately starting recommending another person come out to start quoting excavation and line replacement and still charged me $250. He didnt bother working in the basement where the problem was, and started recommending a tech come out to quote for excavation and line replacement. The other company i tried went through the basement connection with the proper tools and had it clear within an hour for the typical price.

Dillon and his team provided exceptional service. They promptly addressed our recurring sewer line issues on a Saturday, and Dillon was the sole professional to propose a lasting resolution. Throughout the process, we experienced a high level of personalized care. In addition to repairing our sewer line, they installed an external cleanout access, which will streamline future maintenance and prevent the need for indoor equipment. We wholeheartedly endorse Roto-Rooter for anyone seeking a reliable and comprehensive solution.

Mike B came to help with a clogged toilet. He took care of the problem quickly. He was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable and gave us many great hints on keeping our system clear and clean. We highly recommend McDonald Plumbing.
