We used McDonald Plumbing to connect to city water. They were professional, timely and extremely easy to work with. They left our yard and our house/mechanical room in tip-top shape. 5 star job. I highly recommend.

Called today to set up an emergency service and was told they could do it. I sent over an email with all the details. Asked for confirmation. After 30 minutes of not hearing a word, I called to check in and was told they couldn't do 15 day payment terms even following the offer to pay upon completion to establish, couldn't follow simple requests to check in with us on completion, and couldn't even do the service. Would've been great to know that at the time of the service call—especially for an emergency request. Unprofessional

I originally had them come to my house due to a city water main break. 2 months after the break, I still had water issues. James came out and did a solid job. He was very thorough with future preventative maintenance to help keep clear water lines.

We had a kitchen sink clog on a Friday, of course. I called McDonald Plumbing and they were able to send someone out within an hour or two. It was after hours, so we did pay a bit extra, which is understandable. Adam pulled up around 6pm. He gave a quick pet to our puppy and introduced himself. He was incredibly pleasant for a guy who had probably worked for around 11 hours so far. His equipment malfunctioned, so he had to repair it onsite. He never once got frustrated or short. He just did his thing with the same demeanor as he had when he arrived. After he got the drain unclogged, he advised us on ways to avoid drain clogs in the future and was on his way. I would highly recommend McDonald Plumbing (and Adam) for any plumbing needs you may have. Try to have them come during normal business hours, though!

Excellent experience overall from McDonald Plumbing for replacement of my water heater. Friendly, informative receptionist/scheduler who kindly got my appointment moved up two days to the day I called when my water heater began leaking so bad that it became nonfunctional. Friendly, capable, efficient, and cost-conscious plumber who explained his recommendations, and answered all my questions. Last, but not least, cost was more than $1000 less than another local plumbing company quoted for the same work/product. Would highly recommend McDonald Plumbing.

We had a suspected frozen water line and Adam and Ben came out. When they got here the water was running so maybe it was a partially frozen line? Nevertheless, we just moved here a few months ago and learning all the idiosyncrasies of the house, so they were very helpful as they offered to stay for a bit to answer any questions and concerns we had.
It's not often I call a plumber, but McDonald bailed me out of a major issue 20 years ago, got my daughter's home sewer line opened up on a Saturday night in mid-winter a few years ago, and most recently, Scott McDonald, the owner, helped with a suspected problem an inspection discovered on another house we had made an offer on before this one, which caused us to rescind the offer and move on. So McDonald is my go-to plumber when I need help.

We had a water pipe burst just after starting our work day. Chase with McDonald Plumbing came out within the hour during an extremely busy time and quickly fixed the issue. We had no disruption to our work day and we are very thankful!

Excellent crew you have working for you guys. Today was 90 degrees out and they crew showed up and worked hard all day to get the job done by the end of the day. So far everything is hooked up and working great. Thank you for delivering the job well done!

Our water line ruptured on Sunday night. The city came out and shut off our water Monday morning I called McDonald Plumbing and one other plumber for quotes. Scott McDonald came out that morning. He already had the city water and sewer site plan on his tablet so he could anticipate where the hook-ups were underground. He helped to hook our hose to the neighbor so we had water. He then gave his quote, which was less than half of the other plumber. Several days later their team arrived in the morning and by noon the line was replaced. They were sensitive to our site as they dug down to expose the line for hook up. The inside plumber put down rugs to protect our floors and completely cleaned up after he was finished. The whole operation was impressive from start to finish. If your water line ruptures you only need to make one call... McDonald Plumbing. It's easy to see why they do more water lines than anyone.

Michael was so helpful and courteous. Not only did he diagnose and perform the repairs quickly, he also shared helpful hints to avoid the same issue in the future. I've had this same issue reoccur multiple times a year for years, yet Michael and McDonald Plumbing is the first to help me understand what was happening and how to minimize it in the future. Thank you!

Big fan of McDonald. I have had them out for a series of jobs now, including one very large job that involved replacing a lot of pipes in a very small crawl space in a very old house. Their crew made sure the job was done right even though it was an absolute mess of a project and problems arose on multiple occasions.

They are always honest, fair, timely, snd respectful. I will use McDonald for any issue I cannot fix myself and recommend them to everyone.

The McDonald team of two did the installation and setup of the new water heater quickly, quietly, and flawlessly. Awesome job in less than 2 hours! And they hauled the old one away!

We had a 53-year-old water heater go out. AEO Smith with perma glass liner. We have lived in our house 43 years and it has served us well. It was built in 1972 and finally gave out. We had great service with Shaun and I didn't catch the name of the other guy. Great teamwork, great job, I think he was very knowledgeable and they got it done quick. Very happy overall with everything. Things are expensive but I'm glad we went with Bradford White and McDonald plumbing. Highly recommend and we will call again if we need service.

Replaced my water heater. Fair price. Thorough review of the problem. Also fixed clogged drain that another plumber quoted 2800 to fix and McDonalds fixed it for MUCH cheaper. Unfortunately, while doing that repair, a pipe burst in my basement and a hole needed to be cut in my ceiling to repair. McDonald’s won’t pay for that repair, but I honestly didn’t expect them too. Overall, very pleased with the service and will use again.

McDonald’s diagnosed & fixed a drain issue outdoors that’s been a problem for 23 years. They were able to schedule the work in a very quick & limited timeframe. They are excellent. After fixing the initial drain issue, on 1.22.24 they completed putting that drain into a retention tank that was recently discovered in the yard.

McDonald came back on 4.18.25 to complete one more link in the drain issue problem to ensure continued flow with limited maintenance. Since it involved a portion they had worked on before they improved that section at no cost to me. Ben K. & Thomas did a phenomenal job. I’ve now seen them work through rain, sleet, & snow to get the job done.

I continue to highly recommend them!!

McDonald’s Plumbing just completed installation of main water shutoff valve. They arrived early, completed the job quickly, left my space clean. I recommend them for any plumbing work needed.

McDonald Plumbing saved me thousands of dollars! Mr. Rooter told me I needed all of my cast replaced. I called McDonald out to give me a second opinion. Not only were they extremely friendly and respectful of my home, they were 10x more thorough than the other company. They completely cleaned my pipes and inspected the entire line on camera, showing my that everything was in great condition. I was going to have to spend $10k+ if I listened to Mr. Rooter. I am now problem-free for under $500. If that doesn't speak to their honesty and integrity, I don't know what will. I will never call a different plumber again.

Working with McDonald Plumbing was great! They were able to get us in same day due to a cancellation and were kind and efficient. Kevin was timely, had great customer service, and did a great job installing our new toilet. We appreciated the haul away of the old one too. Will definitely call for our next plumbing project. I am very pleased with all of the work Shawn did. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I also got an estimate to change out valve setup in main bath. I approved the estimate and they are coming back Wednesday. I got the recommendation from Nextdoor where several ppl gave great reviews. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.
