I have owned 6 houses in the last 20 years, also a maintenance tech. I have never dealt with a more professional company. Completely blown away by their honesty, speed, quality and price. Unfortunately if you are reading this and need a new HVAC system it’s going to costs you 30% more than I paid in December 2022. Was informed by the salesman, who kept apologizing for new government regulations.

Literally the best experience I have had with a contractor ever.

For years I had problems with my AC Unit after purchasing a 1999 house in 2009. Seemed every year in July I was spending lots of money to band-aid the problem, and I was worried that I would have to buy a new unit and was not able to afford it. Several Las Vegas AC companies came out and never did more that fix a fuse or clean some coils, but not one of them wanted to repair it and just wanted to sell me a new unit.

With that said, a friend of mine from California who was in the commercial AC business for over 40 years recommended Sahara Air. It's been about 6 years now that they have not only repaired it, (new motor, etc.) but I have maintained a service contract with them ever since for routine summer/winter. The first tech Brian, was so smart, and figured out what I needed immediately. His knowledge of the unit was excellent, and everything has been running smoothly. When Brian left, they sent me another tech Chris and he is also excellent and has been maintaining the unit for about 3 years now. I like to have the same tech if possible because they know the unit, and I've been very happy with the new service tech and their service contract as well!

I can't Thank Sahara Air enough for having good quality service techs. It really does pay to have a service contract so things keep running smoothly year after year. I'm still hanging in there, and hopefully the unit will make it through another summer in Las Vegas! :-)

There were a few problems with my AC that needed to be fixed before my family sold our house. It was easy setting up an appointment. They were able to set one up the following day! Devin did a great job! He answered all of our questions and was very informative. I cannot thank Sahara Air enough, especially Devin, about the service provided. I am a very pleased customer. Our AC went out and we got an appointment with One Hour Heating and Air. The man who came over was simply a salesman, rude and pushy. He only offered to replace our entire unit.
After that experience we wanted to get a second opinion and called Sahara heating and air. Chad came over and he was beyond kind and professional. He treated us with respect, didn't try to push anything down our throats, and was patient with all our questions. He actually looked at our system and found that we were able to replace one part for approximately $200 and have a running air conditioning within an hour of his arrival. We signed up for their membership and when our old AC does go out we trust such a substantial purchase with Sahara. We are so grateful to Chad and would recommend him to anyone! Five stars!

I cannot say enough good things about this company and all of its employees. There was a bit of a hickup with the placement of the very large AC unit as it is about 3 times as big as the old unit, but Jeremy made things right immediately! Jeremy and Brenda are exceptional customer service representatives and they are checking on me almost daily to ensure my happiness. They are a wonderful business to work with. I'm extremely happy with their work and their word to commit to making the customer happy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for your new ac unit. Amazing people work for this company. I am never disappointed with the
service I recieve from Sahara Air Conditioning and heating. I call and one of the very professional girls at the office set me up with an appointment that is normally within a day or two. My preferred tech is Chad as he is very efficient and a master at his trade . He politely explains exactly what he will be doing,what problems he encounters, and what avenues I have as far as repairs or maintainance are concerned. There is no "Up" selling or pressure with him. He never utters a negative word or phrase, and is very respectful.
Next year we will be installing a new system,and we will be consulting with Chad on which one might be best for our needs. We have a lot of respect for this company and especially for Chad. His work is exceptional.

Great service from beginning to end. They were friendly when I called and got someone out the same day. The technician Jeremy was prompt and nice. He took the time to explain everything and show me pictures and gave me all my options. Highly recommend

Been a member for a few years. Made my first emergency call this evening. The tech came out and claimed nothing was wrong with the A/C even though it was 5 degrees warmer than what it was set to. Had an attitude and told me he could start replacing random parts if I wanted to. He then left. I called the office and they stand by their tech. I told them the temperature has been rising further since the tech left but they did not believe me. They made no attempt to retain my business either.

Jeremy did such a great job.
His customer service skills are on point 💯. He went beyond to help fix my 🥶. Even though I needed a new A/C unit, he tried 💪his best to fix what I had. My unit has been there since 1989 and I had it repaired several times so I new the 🦖🦕 had to go.
I was comfortable that I new he was not up selling me because he was up on my roof in this 🥵🔥 for a awhile trying to make this work and no luck 💰🤑😥😭.
But I was 😊 with the decision and the service.
Recommend this place to everyone who wants great customer service, and honesty.

I have used Sahara Air Conditioning for over 10 years--including replacement of a broken old heating/air conditioning unit. They were respectful of my home keeping it clean as they worked and even vacuumed when they finished! Brenda in Customer Service always seems to find a way for me to get service quickly when needed--fortunately that is not often as the new unit is reliable. It is also so energy efficient that my montly power bill decreased by over $50 per month. I would not go anywhere else.

Simply the best! Been using them for years now. Not the first time I’ve reviewed this amazing company. Latest great story to share: my ac went out in the early hours of this morning (6/6/24). I called Sahara at 4:30am and their after hours service answered. At 6am one of their managers called me to confirm my request. At 7:30am the regular office staff called me to confirm my imminent appointment. By 8:30am my ac was back up and running. Turned out to be a broken capacitor. What better service can you ask for?

Update 4 years later: Sahara Air is still the BEST! Obviously after our first encounter (below) when our unit actually did stop working we called Sahara Air again. To complete our due dillegence we also got 2 other estimates. Sahara Air was a whopping $7,000 LESS than major competitors. All expectations for excellence were met. The completely new system is in, it's running perfectly, and just passed inspection. They really have impacted our family in a big way by saving us so much money. Thank you to the entire team. 🙌

(Original review) Sahara Air saved us thousands of dollars.
Our air stopped working and we had our "regular" service company come out. Long story short they said we needed at minimum a $1,100 repair up to a whole new unit. I called Sahara Air to compair the est, and Matt was so friendly and helpful I decided to have them come out and give us a second opinion. The tech was super professional and knew what he was doing, within moments he asked my husband a few questions and determined our unit had simply overheated. He gave it a once over, fired it back up and it's working perfectly. They even waived the service call fee.
Thankful is an understatement. 100% recommend!!!

I’ve used Sahara Air to install a new heat pump at home and also to service several heat pumps at a building I manage. Their techs (Luciano, Tyler) are knowledgeable and take time to explain things. They work to fix problems practically instead of selling new equipment when the old one has issues. They’ve earned my confidence and appreciation. I highly recommend them.

O my goodness- Finally a company that works. My air conditioner fan would not shut off. A friend recommended them and I love them. Over the years I have had all types of service company's come to my house but they are the best. Tyler (the tech) checked everything out told me what was wrong and went to his truck to get the needed parts and then proceeded to fix it. He explained what maintenance would be needed for winter as it's a heat pump type heat & air in the future. He prepared me for the future as my air conditioner is 28 years old but keep in mind it's still working:-) I could not ask for better service starting with my call to them this morning, receiving a complete explanation of what to expect, and when a tech would be contacting me. Great Great service. Thank you so much. I don't know a thing about fixing things but I do know great service and great value.

Excellent team of professionals! The crew sent out to replace my HVAC system was awesome. They were friendly, professional, and did an amazing job installing the new system. It looks great in my garage and I couldn’t be happier with the team sent out to my house to install the system. I have two other properties in Las Vegas and when it’s time to replace the systems in those properties I’ll definitely be calling Sahara Air.

We had an electrical fire in the attic that compromised the HVAC system. Called these folks out and had a great experience with the initial technician fully explaining our options. We decided to replace the entire system instead of trying to repair it, the installation crew came the next day and did a great job. They insured that all walking surfaces were protected and left no trace behind after working for almost 10 hours. Give these folks an opportunity to earn your business!

It's rare that I post a review but the service and price was so excellent with Sahara Air that I felt it's the least I could do to show my appreciation. Jeremy is an extremely knowledgeable and honest tech/sales person. Financing was super easy and 0% for long enough to pay off before any APR kicks in.
Brenda in the office is an absolute pleasure to speak with and is very prompt in providing updates. She truly showed they cared about getting the NV energy rebate.
The guys that installed my system were courteous, clean, professional and took pride in their work. The day of installation, it raining harder than I can recall in 10 years. The guys stayed until the system was installed then came back the next day to be sure the humidity and rain didn't cause any issues. They were very careful to not track mud or leave trash. Another tech came a few days later to wrap the lines when everything was dry.
(4 ton/16 seer Amana 2 stage with AprilAir Filter Love this filter BTW.) Wish I had photos of the attic work. The install is so clean and detailed compared to my old system that our builder put in.

I hate to say in this day and age that customer service and pride in a job well done is lost but that seems to be the case with so many companies. Not Sahara Air. These people set the bar on service.

Sahara installed my system in Nov. 2021 and are back today (same person, Jeremy, that sold me the system) to do a free pre-summer systems check (that they called to schedule) Thank you Sahara Air.

--------- My buying experience----
I started researching local companies leading into the summer of 21 looking for 3 to 4 bids.
My 1st stop was Costco thinking that I would get the best price and having their warranty backup would be peace of mind. I WAS WRONG. The company Costco uses quoted me one price when I went direct to the vendor then a higher price when they found out I wanted to go through Costco. That other company (not sahara) factors in the Costco discount and Executive rewards when they know you're going through Costco. Beware.
I did get 2 other bids. One was a bit lower but the off brand units they used were not the same quality or features that Sahara had. (I recommend a 2 stage to save on electricity)
The other company's quote was SUPER high and they kept saying it's because they provide their own Cadillac systems.
