Alanso from Cal Air did our spring air conditioner check this morning. He was very thorough and did an excellent job. His electrical check showed that the start capacitor on one of the units was weak so I asked him to replace it. Replacing that component can actually save a compressor. I genuinely appreciate his professionalism. Cal Air is an impressive company because of the high caliber of its personnel. I highly recommend them for your air conditioning needs.

As a follow up to my earlier post, this company simply refuses to act responsibly and provide documentation of their installation. The office will not allow you to speak with the owner, and the owner should know how is folks are letting him or her down. It's not clear whether it's just poor management and communication or dishonesty. It's been confirmed by both Carrier and the other Carrier authorized service company, Sunrise Services, that the system that Cal Air installed is NOT what they had represented despite Cal Air's own statements in writing. They first installed a lesser unit and it took them a week to acknowledge that and come back out. Then they damaged the compressor on installation and continue to state that they installed a unit with a variable fan motor when it's been proven unquestionably that this is not the case. All they should do is fess up, fix the problem, and we can move on. But no.

Orlando showed up same day, on time. Explained problem and offered choices. Answered all questions in a manner that we could understand. Agreed on a contract. This company offers much more than others I checked out. The installers, Fernando and Victor arrived on time. Layered floor covering for protection. Worked very efficiently. In about four hours the job was complete. Gave a class on the new thermostat. Total clean up inside and out. Very impressed. I will recommend Cal Air to anyone who asks. Regarding "Good value". You get what you pay for. And this company goes out of it's way to up that value. Thanks Cal Air

My family and I have called Cal Air for well over 10 years and not once been disappointed with the outstanding friendly service, on time (usually early) and honest techs. The office staff is always awesome too. We even have them do services at my office. 10 out of 10 for this company!!

I called Cal Air on Monday morning, they came out the same day to check my AC unit. Unfortunately, for me I had to replace my unit do to the new regulations. Cal Air provided me with pricing on the spot and i was able to setup installation of our new unit for the following day in the morning. They came out the following day to install our new unit without any hiccups and now we're enjoying the cool air. Their technician Orlando was great and very respectful. Thank you Cal Air.

Alberto and his crew installed a new central air and gas furnace system at our home today and I couldn't be happier. They were polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Alberto explained the system to me when they were finished and patiently answered my questions. Although they were not the cheapest company available, I would not hesitate to recommend Cal Air to anyone in need of a new HVAC system.

Orlando was EARLY, knowledgeable, and friendly. He diagnosed the problem with our AC unit almost immediately and had it fixed in less than 15 minutes! I highly recommend Cal Air and Orlando - they are reliable and a great company to do business with! THANK YOU!

We had a major AC leak into our living room ceiling. The entire staff including all the service technicians were courteous, caring, professional and put our mind at ease from the minute we called them. They patiently called our insurance and obtained the necessary approvals to proceed with the repairs. They were able to service us immediately due to the nature of the damage. They communicated with us many times throughout this process and kept us updated until the issue was resolved. Alberto came out and did our annual inspection and service on our A/C system. He replaced a failed capacitor and cleaned and tuned up the unit. He did an excellent job. I will use Cal-Air again and highly recommend the company

I had an issue with my Infinity heater. Since Cal Air had services my units before, I decided to give them a call. When Alberto arrived he listened to the issue we were running into and was able to determine what the cause was. It was a bad board on the unit itself. Because it was the busy season, he came back 2 days later ready to work. He brought Marcos with him. They did some more troubleshooting and decided to change out the control unit inside the house as well. Marcos was inside the house and was great. While working on the unit he was also able to talk to us about the reasoning behind the change of the control unit. Both techs were extremely friendly and had a great attitude about them. They were also able to explain to us about the maintenance plans they have. I will definitely call Cal Air for any of my A/C or Heating issues and so should you.

I have been using Cal-Air for close to 2 years now and I must say that it is always a good experience. Always very professional, polite and I have never felt like any of the techs were trying to sell me something unnecessary. I made my appt recently with Lois for my fall/twice yearly maint check and she was very pleasant and accommodating of my schedule.Today, as promise I got a call in advance and Alonso, my tech even arrived early and was a pleasure to work with.Alonso was very professional efficient and polite. What a valuable asset to any company. I highly recommend Cal-Air!

I've have done regular maintenance on my A/C and Heating Units through Cal Air at multiple homes. They are always professional, straight forward, and fast. For the first time my A/C started to give out, Cal Air assessed the situation and today they replaced the Ducts in the system to be larger so that the system has an easier time heating and cooling the house, taking the stress off of our unit. They showed up on time (as always), were quick with the work, and professional in explaining next steps and if we needed anything else. I really like working with this company, I hope they stick around and keep to this standard of quality. Highly recommend.

I called Cal Air because we have an account with them for maintenance. When my mother's heat stopped working I called them. Cal Air had someone out within four hours from when I called. They sent Richard, it was the first time we have met him. What a wonderful nice man he is!! He was very professional and kind. He found the problem in minutes and also explained how the part works and what went wrong with it. Richard got the part we needed and fixed it. He didn't leave until he was sure that everything worked and my mother was fine. I'm glad I found this company, I have been lucky with them.

They set the appointment date, texted me in a timely manner. They arrived professionally ready to work, masked up. Alonso and his assistants were courteous and professional. They had a big job of removing the old air conditioning unit and installing the new one. It took most of the day. I should have made them snacks. Once the job was finished Alonso went over how to use the new unit. They cleaned up all the mess. I’m very satisfied with Cal Air and the staff. I highly recommend them. Thank you Cal Air.

I had my AC unit replaced and I am extremely satisfied with the process. Both Ralph and Victor were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I am super pleased with the work that Cal Air has done. They have replaced my ductwork and AC/Heating unit I went through financing and was pleased with the 0% interest for 5 years (60 months). After doing my due diligence for 1 month, I got quotes from 4 different companies and I must say that the caliber, quality and no pressure of Cal Air convinced me. They weren't the cheapest but I was also looking for a good quality unit for my home and that would be the Carrier units that they are experts in. I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for honest, quality work.

My downstairs AC stopped working and I have a 8 month old in the house and needed quick repair. Cal air responded within 20 minutes and have a technician out within the same day. He checked all wires and attic turns out we accidentally switched the power to unit off. Instead of over charging they only charged the service fee of 49.00. Definitely recommend and won’t rip you off on prices!

I received a text that my tech was on his way which included his photo and a brief bio. He was courteous and kept me informed on his work plan. I feel very comfortable with Cal Air techs. I have used their maintenance plan since I moved here in 2018. The tech answered my questions about the condition of my older unit and explained the freon situation I had asked their scheduler about in my phone call to set the appointment.

Had 30 yr old AC break down in 112⁰ summer heat. Called 4 companies to quote prices. Cal was there the same day. 2 companies showed up next day, Rebel air said 2 days and never showed up at all.
Cal provided the best cost (but all 3 were close enough in price), the most concerned for our situation, and the most professional (one company pulled up, quoted price from truck and drove off). Even though they had to be busy (in the middle of summer), they had the staff and stock on hand, to have a new unit installed in 3 days (1 company said 5-7 days, other said 2 weeks). Those are the reasons that I chose Cal Air. But was happy with service afterwards also. I chose to use them for maintenance too. A single payment gets two maintenance trips a year (about $80 a visit, well within cost of others). And every visit, the tech has been clean, polite, and professional. They arrive in a two hour window (not "between 8am and 6pm on Tuesday"), and SO far have never been late (4 years now). I've had service before, where the tech looked like a homeless garage mechanic (I do understand that it is a hot, dirty job. But you are representing your company when you walk into the NEXT customers clean house. Show some respect.). In 30 years I have only had 1 AC unit changed, but I am extremely satisfied by my choice in Cal Air, and happily recommend them to anyone.

My upstairs unit decided to die on us. I had another company come out to look at it and they informed me that we needed a new unit and furnace coil. After seeing that companies finance options and crazy interest rates, I decided to call CalAir as I know one of the technicians. Vincent came out and was on time and very informative about what was needed. He was also honest about the possible lead time as they were having supply chain issues, however we were able to get our unit within the week. Their financing options are great and I was able to get a better unit with the same warranty for less than I would have paid with the original company I called out.

It was a positive experience getting an estimate from Cal Air for a replacement system for my heating and cooling needs. The office staff was polite and worked me into the schedule right away.
Orlando arrived within the designated time block and gave clear descriptions for some of the technical questions I had. I do think they offer a solid product and should be included in one's research when choosing a company to install a new heating/cooling system.

Oh! I cannot say enough about Cal Air!!! My introduction to this A/C company was through Alexis who scheduled my appointment. Wonderful, wonderful, warm, friendly and caring as to what the symptoms were to repair. She was able to have service the same morning between 11:00am and 1PM. Richard, the service person arrived at 11AM sharp. Repaired the problem within 20 minutes and the service fee was too good to be true. With so many scams, this company has restored my faith and will be my go-to A/C company from this day forward! Thank you Cal Air, you are simply the BEST!
