I’ve never been so insulted in my life. This company is full of thieves and liars. We had a leaky faucet in the shower that needed to be replaced and they had the nerve to charge us $900 for a 20 minute job. They said the crawl space was under 15 feet of snow and that they were charging for the amount of labor it would take to get to the main water shut off valve. Clearly, we did not hire them for the job because of the outrageous price they quoted. We drove the three hours up, went to the crawlspace, found that it was not buried in snow, and there were no foot prints, showing to anyone at even been near there to check in weeks. It took me all of 20 minutes to shut the water off change the valve and get things squared away. Save yourself time and money. Do not hire these thieves. They make up their prices on the spot. Oh, and he only wanted cash. You know he was going to pocket $700 himself for this job.

The rudest technician I’ve ever talked to. I cancelled my job with them. I will never let them near me or my home ever again.

I had the most positive experience with my Roto Rooter Service that went FAR beyond my expectations. My technician, Aaron, took the time to explain every aspect of the job to me, and even took more time when necessary, to make sure I understood the reason for the repair, the repair process, and the price before even starting the job. The most important thing to me when working with a company, is feeling that I can trust them, especially in these times when that can be so hard to find.
My job happened to be more complicated than I initially thought when I first made the appointment with Roto Rooter. My issue turned out to be so extensive, due to my own fault of putting food down the garbage disposal that was known to severely clog the pipes. Although I did not know this for all the years I was doing this, it looked like the only way to fix it was quite probably going to be to have to replace the pipe. This would have involved ripping out the carpet & the kitchen floor, in order to be able to blast out the pipe from the concrete foundation below, which would have been astronomically expensive, and cause tremendous inconvenience. It was ONLY because Aaron wanted to prevent this from happening, that he kept trying over and over, and was willing to try ANY other procedures he could think of, as all of the normal procedures had failed so far. I am SO grateful to Aaron, because it was ONLY because of his willingness & all of his extra efforts that I was spared much dreaded outcome, because his ideas WORKED!!!
He stopped to explain things to me each step of the way, and even took the time to show me the parts he would be using, so I could visualize what he was doing in inside of a pipe that I could not see. And he has such a heart for his job and the people that he provides service for, that I could even hear him rejoicing outside, while he was in the middle of trying this "last-chance effort," as he loudly yelled outside to himself, "I CAN HEAR WATER!!!"
I will be forever grateful, and will always use Roto Rooter in the future, as well as wholeheartedly recommending Aaron and Roto Rooter to others in the future. Thank you for such a positive experience,

Chase was a really great technician. He helped me out with multiple things including a hot water heater install, 3 copper pipe repairs, under sink repair and an expansion tank. He was very professional, easy to deal with, and overall a great plumber. I really appreciate also the responsiveness of the call center! There was a small issue with the vent. It was repaired at no cost to me and in a very quick fashion. I cannot say enough good about Chase and the team at Roto Rooter in Sparks!

Excellent customer service! Friendly and helpful from the initial phone call with Jessica. I called during Mother's Day Weekend due to a kitchen leak in South Lake Tahoe. Rotor Rooter had Aaron show up that afternoon. Aaron repaired the leak and also inspected other water lines to make sure everything was up to par. Rotor Rooter saved the day! Thank you

Wow! Aaron from RR showed up less than hour after we called on a Saturday afternoon. The water valve to our master bath toilet failed and wouldn't shut off; the floor was getting wet as the water seeped out of the broken valve. Aaron explained everything clearly and provided a few alternatives and helped us decide how best to fix it. The fix was quick, effective and it was a pleasure to have the stress relieved. Originally hired another local plumber in Tahoe city area. They came out and couldn’t fix the problem. Aaron from roto rooter was on site for maybe two minutes and knew exactly what the issue was. fast very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks Aaron!

I have a property in Reno off of Keystone with tenants in it. got a call late night about the bathroom sink and tub being clogged. Roto-Rooter was able to set an appointment for me for the following afternoon. Since I live in St. Paul MN everything was done over the phone. Brandon was professional and expedited the repairs and clean out and was very straightforward with pricing. I would refer anyone with plumbing issues to Roto Rooter and especially recommend Brandon. My kitchen drain has been clogged/very slow to drain for some time now. Had two other people come to do work on it and it was clogged again soon after. Finally called Roto-Rooter. Jay showed up last week and did great work troubleshooting the issue. He said it was likely debris in the roof vents and had to schedule someone else to get up there and blow out the vents and the mainline. Brandon and Jose showed up and were fantastic!!! They blew out the vents, mainline, and were able to push through the kitchen clog. They also put netting on the vents to prevent debris from collecting again. It was a tough job and they stuck with it and were determined to help. Would absolutely recommend them again.

Aaron from RR was superb! He was here within 3 hours after I called the office. The Mai bathroom toilet has not been flushing correctly for quite a while. And in the last week I had to plunge both toilets several times. Aaron diagnosed the issue and fixed it within 10 minutes! The last business to “fix” the flushing issue had left on a part that needed to be removed after new innards were installed! 🙄 I would recommend Aaron from Roto-Rooter anytime! Thank you!

Aaron was prompt, friendly (baby and dog friendly)and very knowledgeable. He knew what the issue was in a matter of seconds. He even showed me how to unclog my sink if it was due to food particles and not due to broken ceramics. Would call Aaron again if I ever have any plumbing needs. Thanks Aaron you rock!

John was awesome! Super communicative and transparent. He helped me navigate an emergency situation while dealing with another emergency situation at the same time.

$850 for less than an hour of work with no material?!? We were in a different state and had a drain backup (it was reported by tenants staying in the house), so we remotely scheduled a service. Rotor Rooter came out to the house a day later and investigated for a few minutes, could not find the cleanout, and suggested going in from the roof vent. The technician (Ignacio) said it would be $850 to do so based on the added work of accessing the roof, and the need for a second technician to support. Due to the direness of the situation, we agreed. 10 minutes later, he called back to inform us that the clog was pushed out and he was done. He then collected our payment details and sent a non-itemized receipt for $850.

I understand it was a bad decision by us to agree to that pricing, but $850 for well under an hour of work is outrageous. We absolutely should have said no to the work and gotten a second opinion, but we didn’t want our tenants to have to deal with backed-up sewage any longer. I felt like they knew the urgency, and therefore took advantage of the situation. Admittedly, we made a very poor snap decision, but I am frustrated by the way this situation unfolded. Would not recommend!

Brandon from Roto Rooter was awesome!

We had a clogged drainage line and he came out on a Sunday afternoon to help us. He worked hard with a smile on his face and a service mentality. I learned a lot while watching the process, and he cleared our line and left us with peace of mind knowing we could use our appliances without stressing about water backing up any longer! Would use him again and would highly recommend him and Roto Rooter if you are experiencing plumbing or drain issues.

Wow just wow! First of all, they arrived same day and at the exact time they said they would be there.

As rough as the situation was for my wife and I, Michael took awesome care of us and got us back in our house very quickly after a failed sewer line needed to be replaced.
