We had Kidzz install a heat pump mini split system July 2024 when our AC went out and we are overall SO happy we hired them. We have already referred several friends to them and will hire them again when we're ready to replace our water heater.

First, the mini splits: our AC went out in the middle of the hottest time of the year and was not able to be repaired. Kiddz not only was the best price and could complete the job the fastest; they didn't feel at all like pushy salespeople (as opposed to everyone else we got quotes from) and the owner himself came to give very honest answers to all our questions. He was even willing to leave our gas furnace in until our spring checkup because neighbors claimed we would still want it. But the mini splits have performed BETTER than our previous ducted HVAC, in both summer and winter (even on those 10 degree Jan days). So comfortable! This is still true over a year later.

The installation was amazing to watch, with a super organized and efficient team. They coordinated with us to modify the system to make our solar installation placement easier, remove the old furnace in spring, and even fixed our water heater vent that our roofers knocked out of place. We also hired them to re-do our kitchen venting and, not only did they install a much more appropriate exhaust, they also cleaned up the drywall around it and left everything spotless.

The admin communication was a bit difficult but overall cleanliness, thoroughness, respect, professionalism, value, and quality of work deserve nothing less than 5 stars.

Jeremy was great! Stuck with our problem with our radiant heat floor and found issue and resolved it. He cleaned up the area where he worked and was considerate of our home. Could not ask for a better service call!

They showed up on time (as promised) and worked diligently and effectively to complete delivery and installation of my new HVac system that perfectly meets my needs. My new system will make my home pleasant and comfortable, help reduce my future utility costs, and increase my resale value. We settled on a fair price and a highly responsive installation schedule, which they kept as agreed upon. Also, I have been having a problem with my on-demand water heating system. Their team promptly identified the cause of the issue and quickly arranged for one of their plumbers to fix the problem. Their administrative support team is knowledgable, efficient, polite, professional, and responsive. It has been a joy to interact with Kidzz Mechanical ‘s office to coordinate appointments, schedules, and communications——no frustrating, unending voice jail or incomplete, unresponsive communications with this team! I look forward to making Kidzz Mechanical my future service and maintenance company as they provide service and maintenance care in the coming years. They are now my HVac go-to company! I highly recommend you work with them!

We had a new tankless water heater installed and it was a pretty big job. Miguel and Aiden did an amazing job! They were professional, knowledgeable, and cleaned up once the job was complete. And they were very efficient resulting in a lower cost for us. Kidzz has our business going forward for plumbing or HVAC.

I spent 2 weeks with numerous HVAC companies getting bids on converting our big older house to AC.
It started feeling like the same well dressed estimator or tired service manager each time. Well, 2nd to last estimate I met Chad. Straight away this guy had an idea no one had thought of (even me).
Our "get us into the 21st century" package included 6 mini splits and a 4 ton split unit. This required electrical work and some drywall patching and finishing, all taken care of by Kidzz. During the job I never got excuses, I never got billed for more than we agreed to. The guys showed up bright and early every morning, and wrapped things up nice and tidy each afternoon. Kristi in the office is straight to the point, no fluff which I appreciate. It is refreshing to know that companies like this still exist. Well done Chad and Jeremy!

Was having issues getting my heater running for the winter. Called Duke City Heating and Cooling and they sent Mike out to my home. He was incredibly helpful as well as informative as to what he was doing with my heater. He originally had thought that I needed a new motor, so he went out and purchased one as well as installed it. He then found out that the new motor did not fix our problem. Rather than charging me for the motor he was kind enough to leave the new motor installed on my heater for no cost at all! Mike ended up getting my heater up and running in a timely an professional manner.
The amount of care, transparency, attention to detail, as well as Mike taking the time to educate me throughout the entire process is more than enough for me to continue to do business as well as refer business to Duke City Heating and Cooling. Class Act!

These guys are awesome! Upgraded and installed my new water heater, and their techs were also able to fix my toilet and my sink! Very fast, very professional, and a job well-done. 100% recommend!

Duke City is great! They say Heating & Cooling, but we've used them for electrical repairs, too. They've always done a great job at troubleshooting and making necessary repairs quickly. Their technicians are courteous and on-time. And their prices are reasonable!

I had to replace the coils in my AC and Duke City quoted me a cost $1000 less than another company I talked to. The service techs were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the AC worked great! But what really put them over the top for me is what happened a couple weeks later: my AC died in early July. I was understandably upset thinking they had screwed up, but the receptionist Gloria put me at ease: she was able to address my concerns and assured me that the guarantee for the previous work would apply even if I had to go with another company for the last minute service. However, she worked her magic and was able to get a tech out in the next day. Turns out it was an unrelated issue to their previous work, and in an hour my AC was up and running again. The fact they got out there at the last minute and stood by their guarantee really impressed me, and I plan to use them in the future whenever I need service.

I'm so happy, and not surprised, to see how well Duke City is doing. I used their service about 9 years ago (when I owned a home), and have never forgotten them - their professionalism, honesty, and fair pricing. Seems like, from the reviews, they are the same. I just recommended them to a friend.

These guy are AMAZING. They won the bid, showed up daily on time. They were polite, informative, and good about vacuuming dust from creating vents. Robert ran the crew and he was a perfectionist, which was great! I was surprised that they finished 2 days early and now my house is so comfortable! All around excellent job and very professional.

So very pleased with the service I received. The work was done thoroughly and the steps explained professionally. I was even given suggestions for the future of my cooling/heating needs.

From the guy who came out to estimate to the workers, to the front office secretary they were all very professional. They took their time to answer all questions I had about the job and to make sure everything was set in place. we have an older home that's not the easiest to work with, many other companies did not even bother to get back to us. Duke city did and we ended up being very happy they were the ones who did the job. Will use in the future! Highly reccomend.

If we could give 100 stars we would! Every part of our experience, from the estimate to clean up was first rate! The crew who came to install both of our units were friendly, clean, & professional. I highly recommended Duke City Heating and Cooling, these guys are very knowledgeable, and explain every detail of the work they are doing. Our house being older, we were not equipped with the new modern electrical systems. Jake and Louie updated our electical system, so we could install our new cooling system. Mike, the entire staff at Duke City completed the work quickly and efficiently. I definitely would give these guys a “10”!

Our heater was not blowing hot air. Duke City was able to get us an appointment for the very next day. The technicians Jason and Jamie we very polite, courteous and knowledgeable. They quickly figured out the problem and went above and beyond to correct it. I will be using them and recommending them for all of heating and cooling needs.
