Charles did an amazing job - from diagnosis to full cleaning and maintenance - of the mini-split system in our home. Professional, super helpful going the extra mile to explain care and maintenance and offer tips, and handled exactly as promised. Couldn’t be happier with his service!

Daniel’s Plumbing sent a plumber out to help with a clogged drain. Unfortunately all he did was run water for about 15 minutes and declared that nothing was wrong. To just keep pouring hot water down the drain. We experienced the pipe clogged again the next day. I had to call another plumber to fix the problem. Even if they do nothing to help your situation you are required to pay the service fee. If you are having plumbing issues I would recommend seeking a better plumber.

This company was not the best choice. When I called I was only looking to replace the fixtures in my bathroom. I had a total of $3000 to get the job done. The technician from Daniels named Chris told me we needed to replace the pipe before they could attach the fixtures. 'We will cut a small hole in the wall & replace the pipe. You can contact a contractor that works with us to fix the hole then we ill put the fixtures on. It will cost $1806 to replace the pipes.' Our bathroom was old & he seemed trustworthy so I agreed to the work. The tech also said they would waive the dispatch fee since I had agreed to go with this company at the time of their estimate visit. I paid half upfront with the technician before they did any work. The hole was cut in my wall & the pipe was replaced. I paid the remainder of the amount quoted. Then the nightmare began. To get the hole fixed, I called the person Daniel's referred me to. This person then tells me he would need to knock down my wall to fix it & it would cost $1000 just for the labor. That was not going to work because I only had $3000 for the project & Daniels had already taken more than half for just the pipe. & all of this work was not what I had originally wanted. I still have a hole in my bathroom wall with tub I can no longer use until the hole is fixed. This happened 2 months ago at the end of July. On Sept 4th I receive a bill for the dispatch fee that was supposed to be waived. AND it was billed past due. This is a horrible dishonest company. Do not use them! Call Jay the Handyman!

Charles came out promptly and fixed a leak in my water closet. He is very professional and I am glad to have Daniels around to take care of our mini splits too. I highly recommend their great staff like Charles. What a relief!!!

So first I want to say that I have a lot of respect for this place because they do not solicit reviews. And there are other companies on here doing the same work that constantly ask their customers for five star reviews. I know because I have hired people like that before I found Daniel’s. Their technician came out to install a new thermopile in my gas fireplace. He was very neat and clean and respectful. He was quite efficient and seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He did a good job and you could feel that additional heat the fireplace put out immediately.

Excellent Experience from Start to Finish

I recently had my HVAC system replaced by Daniel’s Plumbing, Heating, and Air, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The installers, Tim and Willie, were professional, experienced, and clearly knew what they were doing. They worked efficiently, and when the job was done, my roof was spotless! Not a single extra part or screw left behind.

My sales rep, Manny, was exceptional. He was friendly, consistently followed up, and made sure every question I had was answered. If he didn’t have the answer, someone from the Daniels team stepped in right away with the information I needed. The communication was seamless.

I highly recommend Daniel’s Plumbing, Heating, and Air! Their combination of professionalism, responsiveness, and quality workmanship makes them stand out in a crowded field.

Our gas fireplace is not working, and we were able to get our landlord to send someone from Daniel's to take a look at it. The first time a Daniel's technician came out, he said he couldn't fix it, and had to get approval from the property management company. Then, the second time that we got a technician to come out and take a look, the technician, Charles, said the same thing, and that he had only been sent to make a quote, and started to leave. When we tried to ask him questions and check what the property manager said to him, he very rudely said, "I don't work for you," and left without answering any more questions.
Very rude and disappointing, and our fireplace still isn't fixed. When we buy a house of our own, we will not be contacting Daniel's for any services.

Duct cleaning was easily scheduled, reasonably priced, confirmed appointment and arrival time, polite and gracious service at my home, explaining the process, Kevin and Justin were so easy to work with, gracious and generous. A great experience, all 'round!

My tech Alfonso Maestas was friendly, very thorough, and explained everything to me. He took pictures of everything he did and reviewed them with me. Best tech I've had so far in my 6 years dealing with Daniels, though the others were good as well.

Alfonso did an outstanding job in fixing one of our gas fireplaces! Thank you Danial’s for working on these fireplaces. None of the other big business will do it. Kudos to Daniel’s and to Alfonso.

Don't get me wrong, nice guys who are competent, just really overpriced. I hired Daniels to diagnose a broken boiler; they fixed a broken pump for $2700. Turns out the whole boiler needed to be replaced which they quoted me $20,000+. I was referred by a friend to a local plumber who specialized in boilers who completed a full replacement of the same parts for half of what Daniels was charging. Daniels is great in a pinch, but for bigger projects, I would recommend getting another quote because there will be another competent competitor doing it for less.

I had a great experience with Daniels. I wanted to have mini splits installed in my home and had several companies come out to give me an estimate. Daniels by far had the best price and warranty. The crew that did the installation were efficient, knowledgeable and professional. This was Willie, Tim and Daniel. I appreciate that they took the time to discuss options with me and took care accommodate my requests. They left everything outside and inside looking great.

Our 34 year old boiler went out. Though the replacement was pricey, we knew it was time. We could not have asked for a better experience!! Charles and his helper were just amazing, very conscientious and the job was just beautiful!! I would highly recommend Daniels!!!

At first, Daniel’s Heating and Cooling was better than the other big-name HVAC company in Albuquerque. However, I would advise all homeowners to seek another option. For two separate, recent, major, and expensive installations, we have had issues. The technicians were unwilling to fix the problem long-term (on each installation); they offered only a temporary adjustment, without any guarantee that the simple “fix” would do anything. Because of these latest problems, I would suggest going elsewhere.

Christopher was excellent, excellent customer service, prompt for the appointment, friendly, obviously knows what he is doing! I call Daniels all the time for my plumbing needs and they have always been able to get us an appointment very quickly. Thank you Christopher and Daniels.

Daniel's was the 1st responder of 4 contacts. Christopher was very positive and confident, prompt, courteous and respectful. He immediately recognized the issue and described the needed repair. He went about his business explaining the what/whys for what he did, with efficiency, expressing a true interest and intent to make the repair the RIGHT way. I have no problem recommending his work and have in fact scheduled another/different repair,

I have mixed feelings about Daniel’s Heating & Plumbing.

A few years ago, I used them to repair a fireplace and had a positive experience. More recently, I had them replace an HVAC system at one of my rental properties. I worked with a sales rep named Jack, who was excellent. He was transparent, flexible on pricing, and worked with me to bring the cost down from $14,000 to $12,000, which was very reasonable and aligned with other quotes I received. The install happened within a week and went smoothly with no issues.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very different.

I had Daniel’s come out to quote a water heater replacement. The sales rep, Jacob, called to say he was five minutes away. I opened the garage and waited, only to watch him sit in his truck for several minutes on the phone, loudly cursing, while I stood there waiting. That was not a great first impression.

Once inside, I showed him another quote I had received that included a Rheem water heater with a 12-year warranty. He immediately began speaking negatively about the Rheem brand, saying it would not last. When I mentioned the 12-year warranty, he cut me off and said the other company was lying. I showed him the Home Depot listing on my phone clearly showing the 12-year warranty. Rather than acknowledging the mistake, he dismissed it and doubled down by saying the warranty must have been extended because the brand was “so bad.”

I then asked him to quote the job using the brands Daniel’s installs. He came back with a $5,600 quote, more than double the $2,200 quote I had already received. Even more surprising, the product he quoted only carried a 6-year warranty. When I questioned why I would pay over twice as much for a shorter warranty, he claimed the other company must be desperate and insisted that $5,600 was the “average” cost for a water heater replacement. It is not.

He went on to disparage the other company and suggested that paying 2.5x more was justified simply because of the Daniel’s name. That argument did not hold water for me, especially when the competing option offered a longer warranty at less than half the cost.

This interaction completely changed my perception of Daniel’s Heating & Plumbing. Past experiences were positive, but this one left me questioning their pricing model and sales approach. They were the third quote I received and were astronomically higher than the others. I will think twice before calling them again.

Charles was pleasant to work with and explained the work that he did for me with precision. I'm thankful that he was able to replace to parts under my bathroom sink. I am pleased with the work that he did. He also explained in detail the need for work on our hot water heater and provided via email 2 separate quotes.
