The unexpected death of our old HVAC system was stressful. But Ron and the entire First Rate team made the purchase and install of our new split system smooth and easy. I am so, so happy I found this company! One of my HVAC systems at my office stopped working. The day before I had a company come out and tell me the repair would be $6000 and it would make more since to replace BOTH systems at the cost of around $30,000. Being a small buisness and not having that kind of money I called the folks at First Rate Plumbing for a second opinion. They were fantastic! Not only were they able to fix the system that stopped working, they also did maintance on the second system for a total of $1000ish. They have gained a customer for life!

First Rate provided me an amazing service. I contacted them to repair my grandma's AC system and they worked fast to fix it. John did a good job fixing it and my grandma's AC is working again!

I called on a Sunday because we needed our line cleaned out. They told me it is 150 to come out once a Sunday, which is totally fair. Then it was 850 to 900 for the job (~1000 total). Said it would be 450+ on a weekday. I got another company to do within an hour for 250 total.

Update: I appreciate the owner's quick response. However, they failed to address what appears to be price gouging. If your competitor's Sunday price can beat your weekday price by almost 50%, there's something wrong.

These guys are wonderful! I had them install a new water heater and they were timely, professional and took extra time to answer all my questions. Highly recommend!

Was quoted $551 to replace the pressure switch. As of today, the pressure switch sells for around $58 and talking with the technician, it appears to be a half hour job. Not hard to do the math in this situation as just equals greedy business owners. Avoid. And just to get ahead of any rebuttals from the business owner, this was during the day it wasn’t An emergency and I even attempted to negotiate the price down, but was given an insulting response. Can’t work with companies that are stuck on exploiting the very people that support them.

Not only a toilet repair, but new faucets on my sink in the bathroom. It was a huge job. Enrique did an amazing job. Very professional!

Patrick came to fix my clogged sink. Not only was he super pleasant he also informed me a lot about the issue throughout the process and got it done! Thank you Patrick for all your help, you will be my #1 call for any future repairs!

This company is Extraordinary. John, the Supervisor for HVAC came out to fix my Thermostat. He went above and beyond after hours. I have installed a new Refrigerated air unit last year. A power surge damaged a fuse in my furnace and John was thorough, kind and even though he didn't have to he stayed to make sure all components were up and running and working properly and safely. I will forever value the excellent service this company offers. I highly recommend!

B Story, Phillip K, Pablo and Roger are amazing, from the diagnosis of my heater to the installation of my new heater, they made sure my needs were met, and were very courteous and nice and professional, I definitely recommend this company!

Had an amazing experience a young man named John Martin came out and was very professional and understanding of my concerns and got everything fixed and blowing cold!! Absolutely amazing experience. Will definitely be using First Rate from now on!!

Service was great, Bill Norton was very knowledgeable about radiant heat. He had it up and running testing all parts which only one needed replacement. Compared to my last plumber who really didn’t know what was truly needed only wanted to charge me $$$, it paid to call First Rate Plumbing

First Rate technician, Matthew did a great job with our cooler to furnace switch over. He notified us when he was on his way, was on time, and was thorough in the process. We have always enjoyed working with First Rate.

2 First Rate techs installed a new furnace. We’re always comfortable with First Rate employees working in our home and this was no exception. Very conscientious and respectful, walking me through the details of the new furnace and answering all of our questions.

They came out and diagnosed my water heater issue quickly. I went with them for the replacement and have no complaints. All along the company was transparent and communicated well and the plumbers were courteous and professional. I’d use them again for future needs.

John is very reliable, punctual, professional and has a good listening skills to start figuring out the problem just by listening to your description of the problem. John has gone straight to the root of the problem and solve the issue. His service is worth every penny.
