Saul came to close up my a/c that gave out on us this summer. He talked to me about a couple of options that we could look at prior to next summer. He also turned on our heater that we purchased from first rate plumbing heating and cooling making sure it was cleaned and working properly making sure to test for carbon monoxide.

Saul Prieto was prompt, attentive and thorough with the inspection for an estimate. I felt very comfortable trusting First Rate with such an important job. Sebastian installed a hot water heater quickly and efficiently. I am impressed with the professionalism and overall experience. I will refer to others. Thank you!

This company is phenomenal! Originally my uncle called another local company to come and look at his package unit because it was suddenly not working. The company he called first was dishonest, caused more issues than they fixed, and quoted him over $6000 for a simple repair. Thankfully we called John next who was able to identify the real issue with the system and get the repair done for a fraction of the cost! We are very grateful for the integrity and fair work John did for us and will be using First Rate again in the future!

I called First Rate after speaking with several other gas plumbing companies and they had the best rate. Their specialist Patrick is extremely helpful. His dedication to helping people is unmatched. Patrick was there through every text, call, and run around from the gas company. Patrick has been working in gas plumbing most of his life and I felt extremely comfortable with his knowledge. Great customer service. Phil did a fantastic job explaining to me what was wrong with my mini split unit. He advised me on what to do with regards to fixing/replacing the unit. I will use them again in the future

This company is ridiculously expensive. Overall, the worst plumbing company I have encountered. Waited over 3 hours with no update on technician arrival time. Cancelled the appointment through a call center not located in the state. Cancellation did not reach plumber who arrived 2 hours later. Nice guy so decided to let him look at the running toilets. I was told that labor was time and a half on a Saturday -something never disclosed in the initial discussion with the call center. Then told the price to replace 2 flushing kits would be over $900! These kits cost less than $30. We called another local company who did the work for $700 less! Beware of their pricing and dispatch center.

called to get someone to go check a furnace and to quote me on a sewer line replacement for a 4 plex I own. Lady was extremely rude saying if I wasn’t going to be there in person for the heater service that I needed to give them my credit card to put on file. I said that was fine and to send me an invoice so I could pay the 79 dollars and she refused to do that demanding I give her my credit card number. When I said I didn’t hav my card on me she again rudely said “well when you have the card call me back”.

I was paying for a diagnostic. I’m not preauthorizing unknown service and I’m not going to give my credit card upfront for them to charge whatever they want to charge. I didn’t even get to ask about the sewer line replacement before she hung up on me.

No clue how they have such high ratings. She must be new or the owners wife cause that was horrible service

In response to the owners response nothing got uneasy when asked for payment. I offered multiple times to pay in advance for the service fee. I asked multiple times to send me the invoice and i would pay the service call before they came out. Honesty goes a long way in this world and this response tells me everything I need to know about making the right decision to spend my money elsewhere. Claiming there was empathy on the call is laughable. I went out of my way to try to pay in advance for a diagnosis which is all I wanted when I called.

The diagnosis I got for free from a competitor was a full replacement which if you listened to my call you would know that’s what you were going to tell me as well since I clearly said the heater was very old. Thanks for saving me 79 dollars.

I don’t know what my family and I would ever have done without this amazing company! For years they have been taking care of us first hand and I absolutely love how personable and professional everyone is. They always make us priority and they make everyone feel like family. 500/10 do recommend!

John was very professional and knowledgeable. He not only performed the scheduled maintenance on the unit, but also checked CO levels in the house. He was very meticulous and took the time to explain what he was doing and how the HVAC unit works. He went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied. Excellent quality work and outstanding customer service. I request that John be the one to do all the service on my unit. Thank you!

John Martin came out yesterday for HVAC maintenance. He was very professional yet friendly. He explained what the issues were and provided me with options. I chose to replace the motor & he returned today to install it. He was prompt in arriving when he said he would and efficient in the replacement process. He also did a temperature and carbon monoxide check. He’s the best technician I’ve had in a long time. I would like for John to be the sole technician for future HVAC concerns. Thank you John for a job well done!

I'm so glad I called this company. They called and said they had someone a day earlier than booked so that was great. John came out when he said he would and was very professional. He's a veteran and I appreciated his advice and work since my husband is deployed. Got the AC working in less than 30 minutes. I am very happy with this service, I'd definitely call them in the future for anything I need. Highly recommend!!!

The gentleman was friendly, helpful, patient, listened, and thorough. He listened to what our problem was & told us what he would do & encouraged us to watch what he was doing. He explained the warranty on the work.

Phil came to my house today to do the seasonal maintenance of our heating system. He was very respectful, asked me if we were having any issues and addressed my concerns with clear explainations. After he did his thing he showed me a few things that could have further maintenance or be replaced. The company has created some money-saving bundles for common maintenance needs that are also very helpful. He was not pushy about agreeing to those fixes immediately and was happy for me to discuss them with my husband before deciding. This was a great experience overall. I would recommend first rate to others.

Needed to replace a hot water heater and we are very grateful to have chosen First Rate. Patrick is an excepcional professional and he explained everything, did a great job on the install, and then followed up to ensure everything was working properly. Folks in the office were also friendly and good to work with. Overs we are very happy with the service we got.

Our boiler said exhaust blockage I used Grok it said Fist Rate Plumbing Heating and Cooling Inc. was a certified Navien repair company. Technician Saul Prieto called back the same morning. He had the boiler up and running in time for us to get to work. Highly recommend this company and friendly staff!

I called NCB after looking at reviews. They gave me an over the phone estimate to start up our swamp cooler and scheduled it for the following week! That alone was pleasantly surprising. I was even more impressed when Ryan showed up and in just a little over an hour, had completed the job. But here's the best part, Ryan cleaned out the scale from our unit and vacuumed it completely, including what was left on the roof! He cut and put in the pads we provided and provided a replacement float. He folded our cover, and placed it inside the garage and shut down our furnace. If you think this is just what "they" are supposed to do, let me say that I have other companies that leave the scale on the roof to blow all over the yard and toss the cover in the garage for me to fold, so if I could give this company 10 stars, I would, and you can bet your socks, I will use them again.

I had called NCB Mechanical to ask if they were hiring because my brother was looking for a job and Jannese was very helpful answering all the questions that I had. While on the phone with her I asked about services and she was very helpful letting me know what the company does. Because of her I will make sure to come to NCB Mechanical for my home.

Brian Lokey were pleasant to work with, solved unexpected issues, was competent and did everything I asked him to do.

Thank you sooo much for my new hvac ac/furnace change over system! Brian and Erik did an awesome job. Lots of hard work and attention to detail. The ac is on my roof but there is no excess piping up there they ran thru the attic and checked the ducts. The electricians did a great job too. All my questions were answered and everything went as planned. I will refer them to all of my friends. This company is top of the line! They really care and it shows!!!
