Thompson has been amazing! Their people have all been professional and helpful. We ended up with a problem with our new HVAC/heat pump, and while you might think that leads to a negative review, they were great. They were responsive, they kept troubleshooting the problem until it was isolated, and they kept coming back until it was fixed. They stood by their product and installation. I would highly recommend.

Thompson came to the rescue on our house. I would highly recommend them for their expertise, honestly, and troubleshooting abilities on forced air systems.

They upsized a return, added 3 supplies and a mini split to our existing HVAC system. After a year or so of pretty uncomfortable living, our space is now properly cooled, heated and nearly whisper quiet compared to before.

I have had consistent issues with a boiler for years. Multiple master techs could not get it working so we barely used it. Thompson came out, was able to actually diagnose the real problem, and get it running perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with their service, Michael is a true boiler expert.

This is my first experience with Thompson Heating & Air Conditioning, as it concerns completely replacing our AC/Furnace unit. And I am very happy to say they did a 5 Star rating job. All of the six employees involved from the initial estimate provided by Mario, to the follow-up with Niel, to the actual installation by Rick Benavides and his four man crew. They were all very professional, especially Rick, his knowledge of the AC/Heating area is very impressive and he is very detailed in his explanation and very patient with your questions. Rick takes pride in his work, and goes the extra mile to fix any mishaps from prior work where other contractors took short cuts, like in my situation where they did the air duct 2/3 of what was required for a 5 ton AC unit and left holes in the duct below where the return air flow is critical for proper air circulation. All of the workers were great, Adam did a great job installing and testing the AC unit. I very happy and impressed with Thompson Heating and AC, and highly recommend them.

Recently, Thompson Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. installed 2 new replacement furnaces and AC compressors in our Albuquerque home. They did a first rate job from start to finish. Mario provided a timely and thorough estimate and was able to answer all our questions regarding our sizable job. The two teams of Thompson HVAC professionals who worked at our home over a 2-day period were absolutely wonderful to work with. Adam, Daniel and Willie were with us on day one. Adam, Ricky, Dominic and Prem were with us on day 2. Both Adam and Prem spent extra time with us to make sure that we understood how all of our new equipment functions.

Last but not least the office staff always notified us of important scheduling information and sent us required documents in a timely manner. We highly recommend this company and its people for HVAC work.

We've been using Thompson for two years now and they've always been great. Today we called with a problem and they could not schedule us for a week out but they put us on a waiting list for an earlier appointment in case for cancellation. Two hours later we received a phone call saying they can be here in 1/2 hour. Our heater had gone out and the weather was getting cold. They really came through for us again!

With a split system and a 3 ton heating and air conditioning unit to install, the Thompson team arrived at my home on schedule to begin work. As many as seven people were working on site during the course of the day. Each person was knowledgeable about his part of the project and the team worked seamlessly and efficiently. I must say the large crane showing up to remove the old equipment and deliver the new was a neighborhood sight to behold! They finished their work with both systems working beautifully in the one day that was their estimated time to complete.

All in all, I give Thompson's an unqualified five star rating. Thank you Thompson's!

A few days later, we had a surge protector put on our carrier combo unit. Very pleased with this company and their technician Prem Jaramillo. All future work, I will be contacting them.

The technician could have done a better job explaining to us what he did. Asking if we had questions is not the same as explaining the repairs he made—especially to seniors. We had another technician from the same company come out earlier and this guy did a much better job explaining what he did. For example, in explaining how a replacement gage worked, this technician could have pointed out each indicator arm and its function vs simply repeating what each indicator was for. In addition, one indicator (the red one) he didn’t know what it was for. While there is no issue with the work done (I think), I don’t think the tech had the training to insure a better communication outcome with the customer. I’ve had experience with three of this company’s technicians. This was my first not so good communication experience.

August 13th - After both of our AC units failed (18 yrs old), Thompson came to the rescue and installed our new system, 5 and 3 ton units. They were the best price out of 3 quotes and the installs were done in one day. August 26th - Installation of an LG heat pump/AC 2 ton unit for pour sunroom. The unit is very quiet and will make this room enjoyable year-round.

I just called to get a quote on the season change over. I found them polite and very professional. I was recommended by a friend and she was right, it's a good company.

LC Heating and Cooling is top notch in my opinion! Professional and thorough when they replaced my HVAC unit. Job was done quickly and without any issues or problems. Hit up Louie and his crew for any HVAC needs! They do excellent work!

Louie started out great, responsive and helpful. But then one of his repairs failed, and then a second. He installed a minisplit, it didn't work, and 6 weeks later, after he no-called no-showed 7 times, we gave up and hired someone else to finish the job. We now have two other minisplits that he repaired (apparently incompletely) that aren't working and just ended up giving up on those warranties and getting others to fix the issues.
