These were professional, hard-working men who really impressed me with their work ethic, skill, organization, and communication. They were on time, let me know what was to happen each day, took time for questions, and left everything very clean!

After a very successful instillation of a new heating system approximately 3 years ago with Brothers Electro Mechanical, we decided this was the year to convert our swamp cooler to A/C. Brothers' arrive when scheduled, they are respectful when in our home, their work is tip top, and their prices are fair.
They also installed our new hot water heater. Great job! -
These are the go-to guys for our household HVAC issues. They have installed ductwork to rectify shoddy construction. They just installed new furance/AC system and WOW.....TOTALLY AWESOME

Brothers is an absolutely first class company. Vince Brothers, who provided the estimate, was our first contact with the company and he was knowledgeable and very helpful in laying out our options for a new HVAC system. The service reps that installed the system were efficient and great at explaining what they were going to do and answered questions throughout the installation process. The after-installation follow up has been spot on. Based on our experience I can highly recommend Brothers Mech and Electro!

I have used Brothers for over 15 years in both commercial and residential properties. They have been consistently reliable, honest and knowledgeable and I have always felt that the cost of their services is a good value for the level of quality and expertise which they maintain in their technicians.

We were dealing with a loss of hot water in our house. A large plumbing group in the area came out to diagnose the problem. They barely look at our tankless water heater and said that they'd have to rebuild our entire hot water system and quoted us an eye watering price.
After a lot of research, I found Brother's and gave them a call to get a second opinion. After a bit of investigation, our amazing technician, Jason, let me know that it was very likely that all the system needed was to have a routine flush performed. He did this work and we were again with hot water.
While doing this work, some of the sediment accidentally got flushed into our water pipes. Brothers came out the next day to fix their "mistake" (really, this was just a thing that happens sometimes) and refused to let me pay for even a portion of their time and effort to flush the sediment out of our pipes. This sort of integrity is far and above anything I've experienced with any other local plumbers; I will be using them from now on. -
Our experience with this company has been absolutely first-rate.
Their office staff and service personnel are unfailingly courteous, efficient, and highly competent. They have installed and serviced our central heating/cooling system; they did an incredible job 'finessing' a gas-log fireplace that was installed by others; and they even recently installed a 'Tushy' on one of our toilets. Whenever the subject of 'who to call' comes up, we always recommend them. -
I've bought two brand new systems from Brothers Electro Mechanical, once in my old house and now in my new house, and every time they've done an outstanding job. I've also recommended them to neighbors and friends and 3 of them have used them as well. Their great service and superior products set them apart from the rest of the Albuquerque competition. The three friends and neighbors who've also used them have had nothing but great things to say as well. Do yourself a favor the next time you have a heating or cooling problem. Call Brothers Electro Mechanical. It's a great family run small business and they always perform professionally and outstanding work.

Outstanding service. They came within a few hours of my call. We had an electrical issue and needed an outlet that caught fire fixed. They were friendly and professional and explained each step so I knew what was taking place. Highly recommend.

Our technician Andrew was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. We appreciated his recommendations to enhance our heating system and improve the air quality in our home. Outstanding service!

Wagner came to my home to service my air conditioning unit, and the technician caused a massive flood in my attic. While I was working in my office, I heard water dripping. When I went upstairs, I found my ceiling heavily flooded, forming cracks quickly, and water was leaking through antique ceiling features.
The technician only had a small bucket and cloth, trying to soak up gallons of water. I grabbed towels and blankets and handed them to him while urging him to address the leak. I immediately called Wagner to report the situation. Their response was dismissive and rude.
Eventually, they did take some action, hiring a company to run blowers in my attic for several days. However, the water had already caused widespread damage—cracks, possible mold, and ongoing structural concerns throughout my home.
Despite dozens of calls, Wagner has not returned calls regarding repairs. When Greg, the general manager, finally called, he said their insurance company would contact me—and admitted he wasn’t even aware of the problem. That was weeks ago. I continue to call daily, but they show no concern for the tens of thousands of dollars in damage to my home.
I strongly caution anyone considering Wagner for home work—do not risk your property or peace of mind.
⚠️ Consumer Warning ⚠️
I want to warn others about my experience with Wagner. After their technician caused significant water damage to my home, they offered empty apologies but no real help.
When I tried to follow up, I was told the matter had been sent to “corporate and legal” and then hung up on. After contacting the Better Business Bureau, I learned:
Wagner has been sold and is no longer BBB accredited as of August.
They have a long list of complaints from other consumers.
The BBB recommended filing a complaint with the Attorney General.
This company does not stand behind its work and refuses to take responsibility. Please think carefully before allowing Wagner to do any work in your home.
I still have not heard back. Today, I filed a complaint with the New Mexico Department of Justice. Obviously, Wagner does not care about the damage only their wallets. What they forget is that the damages they cause are in people's homes. -
Our 10-year-old tankless water heater wasn’t consistently producing hot water, so I contacted Wagner for an estimate. The plumber was honest and recommended replacing the expansion tank and doing a flush instead of pushing a full replacement, which I really appreciated. We followed his advice, and now we have hot water again. The only hiccup was some miscommunication between techs, but overall, I’m happy with Wagner’s service.

Unexpected burst pipe underground.
The service was terrific. Brandon Lucero explained how this happened. This turned into a full-day event—hours of digging along with a jackhammer. Brandon not only expertly completed the job but also replaced the bricks he could, then hosed off everything, etc. The area was spotless!
Amazing tech, fantastic service! -
Joel Herrera was very friendly and informative. He showed me the issue, explained things easily and showed me completed work. He was great. The pricing seemed high but the work needed to be done.

I was having issues with a water leak that was pretty bad. I called and they sent out Joshua. He really took his time in identifying the issues and explained everything really well. He was very detailed in what he was doing and answered every question I had. He will be back to fix the repairs and I would definitely recommend him and also ask for him if I ever have any other issues. Thank you Joshua.

We recently upgraded our electrical panel to support replacing our 35-yr old gas furnace & evaporative coolers with a new heat-pump HVAC system plus a ductless mini-split for a separate wing of the house. We contacted Wagner because they are Diamond contractors for Mitsubishi’s highly-rated mini-splits. Their “comfort advisor” spent a bit of time with us, measuring the rooms, calculating loads, and figuring out how to make their Carrier Infinity split system work with our existing ductwork & layout, indoors and outdoors. The initial estimate very nearly matched the final installed price. We were lucky that seasonal demand wasn’t high so we could schedule the work for the same week that we gave the OK. All of the workers that they sent out were great: courteous, hard-working, knowledgeable, and they checked with us before doing things and whenever a question came up. The resulting work was tidy, well-planned, on-budget, & on-time. We highly recommend Wagner Mechanical based on our job experience.

I was in a pinch, our heater had gone out right before a cold spell. I called Wagner and they sent a couple of outstanding technicians who were ultimately able to identify and correct the issues, all in a very professional and polite manner, and economical as well. Would call again if ever needed.

Called Wagner for an estimate for a boiler inspection. Nathan came out and gave me an expert diagnosis of the pressure tank and lank of PSI. It made sense. Nathan returned a week later and installed new tank piping and flushed the system and purred after he was done. great work and reasonable price. Very professional and thorough.

Joshua at Wagner Mechanical was super professional, very thorough and had a nice friendly demeanor which is great when you know nothing about plumbing! From booking the appointment to the end result of fixing our issues, our entire interaction with Joshua and this company has been top-notch!

Wagner Plumbing is good if you have extra time and money. Otherwise stay away. The way they have their scheduling system set up is not considerate of a working person's schedule. I had to have a plumber come out twice to fix an expensive repair that was not fixed correctly the first time.
Then I had a HVAC guy come out and charged me to shut down the Swamp Cooler after telling me it was no longer functional. I was supper frustrated with this whole process and went elsewhere for better business practices. -
I set up an appointment weeks in advance for time-sensitive maintenance work. I was asked to be available at home all day for this, and I scheduled it for a rare day off. Near the end of the day, I received a call stating that they were overbooked and would not be able to complete the service and asking me to be at home all day again four days later. I was told that they could not give a narrower time window and that I would have to again be available all day. The scheduling agent I spoke with did not apologize or offer anything to make up for the delay and lost time. Fortunately, I found another company that could get me in on a shorter timeline. I can't speak to the quality of Wagner's work, but I certainly cannot recommend them to anyone who values their time.
