Brandon came by first thing after a Monday morning call to Wagner that we had no hot water.
Opened top cap to look at wiring and found everything completely melted and fused together. Said he had never seen anything like it, especially in a three year old water heater installed by same company at same time as now non working HVAC system. Brandon noted the pigtail for 220 was a dryer cord. Big No No!!!Said we only had a one year warranty so we would need to buy a new one as this one was completely destroyed. They delivered a new one and Brandon did the plumbing set up. We said we wanted a full electrical check of the house considering how close we were to a fire. Wagner sent someone the next day. Before the Wagoner electrician arrived I called TLC to do a check as well. Upon TLC’s arrival their electrician immediately noted the original installers used a dryer cord as the emergency shut off. Big No No!!!! Needless to say we had TLC do the water heater electrical hook up. -
Update: Levi and his team did an absolutely AMAZING job with rewiring for our tv / speaker stem. They are kind and went above and beyond for us.
I would say that Wagner should reconsider how they currently dispatch and allow customers to speak to their technicians, that process was way worse than trying to get in touch with your doctors office.

Thanks for triaging our issue with our doorbell promptly, Julian. -
The Wagner Team was awesome and painless. I had three other companies come out to give me a quote and Wagner was within my budget. Starting with Dave Z. He was easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. He pointed out some things the other companies didn’t see or mention. He provided me with 3 different part options that would work with what I was wanting replaced at my home.
The crews that came out, Levi I. Faron F. Carl W. Blake S. and a couple other guys I can’t remember their names (plumber, electricians, HVAC), were prompt and showed up first thing in the morning. Each crew made sure to find me and introduce themselves to me and advised me about the work they’re about to start. Once each crew was done with their part of the job they showed and walked me through what was changed and everyone was able to answer any questions I had with how to maintain or what services Wagner can provide with future maintenance. A great experience and would recommend Wagner. -
It looks like they are very busy, and scheduled jobs take a long time, which is fine. I requested a furnace cleaning service. The technician did not communicate with me on site and simply sent a quote and invoice to me remotely.
The most frustrating issue is that after the cleaning, the furnace no longer works. They charged the cleaning fee and then asked me to replace a broken motor and other parts. I understand that the system is old. However, if the furnace was too weak to be cleaned, they should have recommended repair or replacement upfront instead of cleaning it and breaking it. -
My mother called to have this company fix her heater. They wanted to charge $900 in labor plus $9,000 for a new heater. Contacted someone else and he was able to fix it with a $100 part. Almost conned my mother who is social security out of $9,900 without tax. Left her in tears. That is ridiculous.

Requested an appt online for routine service on the furnace. Quickly received a return call to schedule. The first available was a month and a half out, and did schedule it. On the morning of the booking, I received a reminder text that I was on the schedule. Per their open schedule policy, can be any time of day, but call 15-20 min before they come. Late that afternoon, received a call from dispatch that they would be unable to make it to my house and needed to reschedule. Booking was rescheduled to the next week ( today). I did not receive the reminder text this morning, so I called at 9:30 to confirm I was on the schedule. On hold for 10 min, and was told dispatch would call me. At 1:15 pm, I received a call with an apology and an excuse. They offered to reschedule again with a discounted price. No thank you. Your business has been unreliable TWICE in a row. Will not be requesting services in the future. Don’t recommend this business based purely on their inability to schedule and show up.

My heater went out one night would blow cold air and nothing else so I assumed it was the limit switch. I had wagner come out to figure out and fix the problem. The tech was here for 5 mins before claiming my indoor blower motor failed and needs replacing tech claimed it might be under warranty if the installer set it up right and I told him I didn't think it was the blower motor because it was blowing cold air he fought with me claiming he was the professional and doubling down on he diagnose after he left I went to see if I could get the blower motor to run again and I notice he snapped the limit switch i called them back and got the run around from the general manager arguing with me...got tired of them trying to scam me so I looked up the model of my unit and got a limit switch from grainger and turns out a 35 dollar limit switch was my issue not my indoorblower motor, beware with this company I'm sure they been replacing good indoor blower motors since they started.

We had a pipe burst inside our wall. We called Wagner and a technician came out the same day. I can't say enough great things about our technician Michael Borrego. We were blown away by his knowledge and professionalism. He was also extremely kind and personable. We were his ninth call, and he knew how important it was for us to have running water for the evening. He did not leave until the job was done. I will continue to be a customer as long as they keep technicians like Michael around!!!!

Tech,Joel who did the repair was great. However the events leading up to the actual repair in terms of scheduling was not good. Very disorganized and inconvenient to the customer. Customer took time off from work two separate days, to be available but Wagner called last minute to say tech not available. When a tech was initially dispatched the individual had no knowledge of the Aquathermal system. Finally Joel arrived and fixed the system.

Jesus was friendly and knowledgeable. He put me at easy by cracking jokes. He easily answered all of my questions and showed me what I would need to do to clean the filter in future. The fee to come out was less than a lot of companies. I would highly recomend Wagner.

This place is a crooked business. Don’t join there check up club. Called and set up a appointment to switch over our A/C to Heat got the earliest appointment was 1 month later the night before get a text to confirm, did that then got another text they need to reschedule. Fine did that, got another appointment for 1 week later, the night before that got a text to confirm and again after that got another text saying we need to reschedule. So I called Angelina said there were taking care of people with no heat. Which we also had to heat, that’s why they were coming. Told her to just cancel everything, she said I would’nt get the 99.00 early cancellation fee told here I want to talk to a manager and of course they had already left for the day. So I called on Monday and was told someone would get back with me within 24 hrs, it was 48 hrs. But they said they would refund the 99.00 fee. Called today cause it still hasn’t showed up on.my credit card and was told they wouldn’t refund it. So don’t use these crooked people, unless you have money to lose.

Jesus and his apprentice are very courteous, professional, punctual, honest, clean, and very thorough of their work. When he came into my house, he introduced himself and his apprentice and start to troubleshoot, then after I told him of the problem he went to the electrical panel and told me the size of amps are to small and needed to be upgraded from 70 amps to 200 amps. Then after he finished checking everything he gave me his estimate and also when are they going to start the job. Unliked the other company’s I contacted before, I’ve been waiting for 5 - 7 weeks to get the estimate. Overall my wife and I are very pleased of the job well done. Great job Jesus and Wagner company.

Andrew was so knowledgeable and so polite. He explained everything carefully and In 20 years, our furnaces have never been so carefully started for the winter season.
Andrew communicated what he knew was safe and how we can start to think about replacing our old furnace. There are many options and we appreciated the time he spent explaining these options to us.
Thank you Andrew! You provided the care our furnace needed immediately, but also gave us options to think about in going forward with these 20 plus year old furnaces.
Sincerely,
Wayne and Judy Johnson -
Charging $100 to provide a quote, and then not following through... it is laughable to me that Wagner sent me an automated text asking for my review. The technician said easy job and gave me the impression that it could be done the next day. Several days later and I have been called by a dispatcher who says they don't know anything about when it can be done, and cannot tell me anything about when they may be able to help me. There were no expectations on when this 2 hour job could be done. We have been in a heat-less situation for several days at this point. I was led to believe based on our initial conversation that this company could handle it. Their automated phone/text system, unprofessional notifications, and delay in service are not worth 1 star. Quoted $300 for a $40 part.... insane.

Please note that this review has nothing to do with the service provided by the techs at Wagner. They do a great job. Unfortunately, Wagner has been bought out by a big company and the service has taken a turn for the worse. The scheduling system is supposed to be a benefit to the client but you end up sitting around the entire day waiting for a call. Other competitors can at least give a 4 hour window. The poor people trying to schedule techs have no information about your situation or they call without bothering to review it. They also will promise an appointment on a weekend then call you to cancel because their ONE tech is stuck on a job. Also, they overcharge you for simple jobs. Don’t waste your time or money

Please find somewhere else to get your electrical needs done. Not only will they WAY over charge you, but if the job is not done correctly, good luck getting them to right the wrong, without them trying to give you the runaround AND also trying to upsell you on needless upgrades and service fees every time someone new comes to look at the issue, only to not fix it again. After paying $587.72 to simply have an outlet changed that was overheating; I now have an outlet that does not work at all and a company that refuses to apologize for not correcting the problem and refusing to be helpful, acting like I AM the issue, when I have been as patient as I can possible be with them. You would think that a well established company would want to do all they can to make sure that their customers are happy and make sure a job is completed. But, to me it seems as though they are only bottom line driven and if a customer does not know any better, like me, they will take you for all you are worth, like $600, for a simple job, and then leave you still stranded.

Jonathan from Wagner was wonderful! He came out the day before Christmas to fix our lights that had gone out in the front of our house. He was diligent and explained everything to us. We could not be happier with the service we received. HIGHLY recommend Wagner.
-
Angel has been out twice to our home and discovered the issue right away. He knew exactly what to do and fixed our issues in proficient manner and did a great job. He was very professional and used kindness. He explained everything in detail so we could understand the whole process. I will definitely call for him again. I referred day and night to my mother and referred Angel. Thank you Angel and day and night plumbing.

This would have been a 5-star rating IF when they left for the day that I had heat. I did NOT! Not unreasonable to expect my new $14K install would blow heat at the end of the job. It did not. When I called, the rep said that they would have a tech out first thing in the morning. Whoa!!! I just got a big dollar install today and I get to sleep in the cold again tonight??? They reacted and got a tech out within a half hour. He resolved the issue. One switch not toggled to “On” and one wire not connected. Works per design. The original installers did not test the system before they left my property. And now for what would have been a 5-Star rating if that did not go down the way it did. On a cold “see your breath” morning the crew started to show up and get the ball rolling. Courteous, clean and professional they did what they could before a MASSIVE crane showed up to remove the old unit and place the new one. Workers did a great job. The install looks very good to this layman (though I am in the construction industry and can tell good work when I see it. It looked tidy and of course, up to code). Very happy with my unit and the install. I would absolutely recommend Wagner to others (I’m sure the snafu was an anomaly).

Drain cleanout. Good communication and Johnnie was great and helpful once here. Worked fast and the online coupons saved us some money and made it very affordable!
