Pen Pals sent their technician Kenneth out to service our two furnaces, as we have two separate duct systems in our house that was built in the 60’s. One of the furnaces we have never used since we’ve owned the house. We wrongly assumed it was so old it couldn’t possibly still work. Kenneth did a great job of cleaning both furnaces up, testing the components and got them both running in tip top shape. He gave us some pointers on how and when to change the filters and have them running as efficiently as possible, and also took the time to run both systems for a bit to test for any carbon monoxide and made sure they were heating and returning properly. Kenneth was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and the guy was even on time. Pretty tough to find that combo anywhere these days so I was impressed and very happy with the service. We will probably eliminate our old swamp coolers and do a central air system with these guys in the spring. Highly recommended.

This was my first time using this company, and I was very pleased with the service. The Service Technician, Jelijah T., who came out to switch my system from summer to winter (AC to furnace) was wonderful, respectful, professional, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he was doing and made sure everything was working properly before he left. He also told me to call if I have any issues, which I really appreciated. So far, everything seems to be running smoothly, and I feel confident knowing I can reach out if anything comes up. Great first impression!

We called needing help with our furnace as it just working, we had already talked to another company that gave us a very high quote to fix the problem, then we tried to reach them and they just never came back after almost a week so Kenneth showed up today (Saturday) and found that the furnace control board is still fine and he got us working again. They came to my house to offer an estimate for a new water heater and explained well the difference between a tankless and traditional. Again, they did not push or be very aggressive. Overall, my three experiences have all been positive and will continue to use them.

Our water heater failed on a Saturday. Got an on-site quote that day with a promise of installation of a new tankless water heater on Monday. The crew had us up with hot water on Monday, came back Tuesday to do some additional work to complete the upgrade. Everyone was very good to work with and the quality of the work is excellent. I will be contacting Pen Pals again to talk about upgrading our furnace in the near future.

We’ve used this company for 5 years on our house! They are trustworthy and honest. Our water heater’s tank burst and they came out same day. They installed the new water heater got everything back up and running. Will definitely continue to use them!

The installation of our new HVAC UNIT was a real treat. Francisco was excellent in his scheduling of our job. He stayed in touch via phone and email throughout the job. David and Roger were scheduled for 9:00am and they were right on time. They worked diligently throughout the day only stopping for a short lunch break. Their work ethic is first class. They were friendly, courteous and polite as they completed their work in only one day. I was very impressed with the work done by David and Roger. Our new Carrier heat pump system is a perfect replacement for our old gas furnace and evaporative cooler unit. These both fed into a central air distribution system and the Pen Pals engineer and technicians were able to fit the updated and much more efficient system into the existing space. Thanks to their improving the air return volume it is so much quieter. We are very happy with their commitment to getting the whole job done in just two days. They staid until the job was done and cleaned up afterwards, including taking away the old furnace and the evaporative cooler. When I had a question about how to operate the system early the next morning I sent a panic text and they responded within 30 minutes and had someone there by 8:30 am to ensure that the system was working correctly and that I understood how it operates, which is a bit different than the furnace I was used. to. This is the second project we've contracted with them for and I continue to be impressed by their professionalism and commitment to customer service.

Pen Pals Cooling Heating Plumbing came thru at a very much middle of the summer crisis when my AC went out on me. They provided great customer service and care for my needs. After a full day plus of working to ensure installation was complete, they provided patience for all my questions. From the initial call to after install everyone I dealt with was top notch.
