Lousy parts warehouse. Out $150 of my own pocket and couldn't return a part. Also they sell broken parts to everyone all the time. Better off going to Gorman Industries or United Refrigeration.

It has become the norm for businesses and their employees to be very detached, short, unhelpful, rude, and even angry and hotile to their own customers. If fact many businesses are undermining their own customer base and seem oblivious to it. It appears Management is either so overwhelmed, detached or uncaring about the ongoing loss of their customers.
I had heard that Johnstone has an honerable reputation, with honesty, quality employees, and righteous policies. But it wasn't until I had an issue about a part that I experienced a great company thru great management, and that came from a man named Ronen.
Ronen is a true manager with both wisdom and skill, knowledge and understanding. He reminded me of a lesson I learned one time from management that you must keep one eye on your customers and one eye on your business. Unfortunately nowadays we have too many one-eyed managers. Either selling out their business or selling out their customers. But Ronen has an eye for both sides , which takes wisdom and maturity which too many leaders do not have. I was returning a part for a couple hundred bucks, and there was a problem. By the end of the process I didn't even care if I got my money back or not. I was just happy about the experience of meeting someone like him and meeting a company that had hired someone like him. So I can only say good things, in fact I can only say great things of my personal experience with Johnstone Supply Company.

Just go online and order your parts on ebay, they'll be a lot cheaper and you'll have a better return policy.

Alex is always a tremendous help. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you get what you're looking for in the most professional and friendly way. 👍

After a very horrible experience, never expected I was reached out by Ronan who was able to change my horrible experience to a more pleasant experience. I do wanna thank him for being professional and doing the right thing for the Customer. I also wanna give this five star review in a big thanks to the people who really do the right thing at Johnstone and specifically Paul Torres, Sydney Alex and James let’s not forget Mark and Carl. I have always been welcomed. We all have bad days bad and experiences however Ronan was able to make it up for his team. Do want to give a big shout out to those people who make Johnstone a pleasant place to go and shop.

Worst experience I have encountered. Walked in. Rene who is supposedly the manager is a pathological liar. Says one thing then does another. My guys hate him. Tries to make prices he can’t keep and only cares about talking crap about his other employees. His poor assistant… nothing good to say about him and the only person I actually like in there is him. Not enough to put 100% of my business in though.

Dave in plumbing, Rene in HVAC and the entire team has been extremely helpful and professional. Quickly becoming my first call when I need parts and/or equipment. Thanks everyone!

I had a very frustrating experience with KA Plumbing that I feel others should be aware of.

I paid for plumbing services directly, yet a duplicate charge totaling over $5,000 was later issued and processed through my home closing settlement. Despite the invoice already being paid, KA Plumbing still accepted and cashed an additional check tied to the same work.

What’s even more concerning is the complete lack of communication. My calls and emails have gone unanswered, and it honestly feels like I’ve been blocked or ignored entirely while trying to resolve a clear billing error involving a significant amount of money.

This situation should have been identified and corrected on their end. Accepting payment for an already-settled invoice reflects either poor internal controls or a lack of accountability.

Now I’m left chasing answers and preparing to pursue legal action just to recover money that should have never been taken in the first place.

I strongly advise anyone working with KA Plumbing especially in situations involving escrow or third-party payments to double check all invoices and payments carefully to avoid being charged twice.
