Got HVAC installed about 2 yrs ago by MCS. Heater went out 5 days ago. I left 2 messages & marked them urgent. NO response. Husband called them, guy came out, was there about 20 minutes & charged us $160 but it did not solve the issue. (Discovered that we no longer have a warranty). Called an electrician, he diagnosed some stuff (don't want to say what just yet incase we have legal case). Let's just say we could've had a catastrophic event. I do not recommend using this company at all.

I had MCS install an ac unit at our home. We did it through Costco. They were great. Very professional and did not try to up charge me like the other company that quoted me. The cement pad was no charge if I wanted it on the ground, but I had it put on the roof to keep it clear of the dust. They also wired my breaker box for the 220 free of charge as it had an empty slot. They have serviced it since then and been helpful and informative each time. Definitely my go to company

Miguel and Jesus showed up on time. They are very good a what they do. Very neat with there work and very personable! Was very easy dealing with them Great job done!

Alex the Electrician came in also explained everything he was doing and also explained before he left. Said I would be getting a call from the sheet rock people.

Everyone did a great job!

After a few phone calls, and even confirmation on one call that we would get a call back the next day, we still have not received a call back to schedule a new water heater install 3 weeks later.
UPDATE:
We received a call from the company after our 1 star review. After an apology we decided to schedule the water heater install since they were highly recommended by friends. Robert showed up on time as planned and was very professional. He took the time to explain what everything was and how to perform regular maintenance for longevity. If you want a water heater installed right with excellent customer service ask for Robert.

MCS installed a new AC, smart thermostat, and furnace system last year. They did an amazing job then, so when it came time to replace our >20 yr old water heater, we turned to them again. We're very happy we did.

Driving > 2 hr from Abq, MCS installers David Ramos and Israel Barraza were on time, highly professional, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job in installing our new Rheem nat'l gas water heater - everything to code with all the current safety features, including an overflow catch basin (which was not mentioned in the detailed work). David and Israel also went beyond what was expected: Apparently, the old water heater had been leaking onto the base / pedestal over the years, forming a sinking hole under the unit. David and Israel repaired the base with a custom fitted board (apparently, they carry that around) to reinforce the base and seal off the water damage before setting the Rheem in place. They also took the time to go over the features, what to expect, and a simple maintenance procedure.

For both our HVAC and water heater, it's evident that MCS knows what they're doing. They're prices are fair and they are upfront / transparent with you. Ask as many questions as possible - they'll answer them. Summarily, I highly recommend MCS to take care of your greatest investment.

Miguel and Daniel were on time, explained the procedure prior to starting the install project, kept up informed through whole process. Most outstanding is their customer service and professionalism, more importantly, they were dressed as professionals. A painless process through a difficult situation. 5 star services and both Miguel and Daniel are to be commended for a “Job Well Done” . My family and I thank you for the excellent service. Miguel did an outstanding job installing our new tankless hot water heater. He patiently and clearly answered our many questions and explained each step in the detail we requested. He did a much more professional job than the person that installed our previous hot water heater. He and Jesus were very pleasant to deal with and they left the workspace very clean both days that they were here.

Water heater started leaking Wednesday afternoon. Called around and most places couldn't send anyone until the end of May. MCS was able get someone out Thursday morning, went over everything and was able to install my new water heater Friday morning. Robert T. and David R. did an excellent job! Very happy with all their help. Great company to deal with!!

Would give 0 stars if possible. This company use to be fast, responsive, reliable and honest. It is now under new management and I can not say that it holds those values any longer. Had made an appointment for a repair with this company and waited for them to arrive, no show and no call for an update. Called them myself and was told they would arrive later that evening. They arrived late and could not do any repairs due to the parts store was closed. Then was charged over 100 dollars for a visit that took 10 mintues. Why come to an appointment for a repair when you won't be repairing the appliance? I do not recommend this company to anyone, I recommend you take your business else where. They seem to be understaffed. They will come on here asking me to call them with my experience and concerns. But their call center and customer service is horrible as well. You are lucky if they pick up the phone or get a call back.

This was my first experience with mcs. Our water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. They were available to do a same day installation at no additional cost. Robert T was amazing! He arrived on time. Robert completed the job quickly and was courteous. I would recommend this company you to all my family and friends because of Robert. He did a great job explaining the new code requirements. Very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you for a job well done.

We were on the brink of having a mess with our water heater. We purchased at Home Depot who contracts with MCS, I received a call within 30min of getting them my info. I worked with David Ramos who was quick , efficient and got me a price right over the phone. They were able to get me in the following day. My mistake in purchasing a 50gl instead of a 75gal and Robert our service plumber brought it to install. He was so nice he toot it back, let me purchase the correct one, returned to my house to measure if new one would fit and returned the next day with the correct one. I found him to be very trustworthy, we left our garage unlocked for him to complete the job while we were at work. I would highly recommend him, very strong christian who wants to make sure the customer is satisfied. They did add additional fees due to larger tank and needing a second person so not sure if they are comparable in cost to others.

It took a while to get them out to look at our house and give a quote. My wife asked for one on-line and after a week with no response, she called. The receptionist was disinterested and could not care less that no one had gotten back to us. After finally convincing her she would like an appointment for a quote Jeff Mitchell came out. Finally dealing with someone other than the rude receptionist things started moving fast. Jeff came out and gave us a quote and showed us the multiple arrangements for A/C we could get for our house and what was the best for our size house. We had already gotten recommendations to use MSC and had someone come out to give a quote. Jeff's recommendation on what was the best for our home, sold us! We scheduled for the next Friday for installation. Luis T, Jose H showed up right on time and got to work. Preston the electrician showed up just a bit later the three of them worked really hard and were done before 1600. They were kind, professional, and were not annoyed when I asked questions. My wife and I are super happy with our system, and recommend them to anyone looking to convert to A/C. If you can get them to your house you won't be sorry!

I was contracted with this company thru Home Depot. I received a call from them right away to schedule an appointment and was able to schedule a day that worked for me. Jason was sent out to look at my refrigerated cooling system that quit working. He diagnosed and repaired it in less than 15 minutes. He cleaned it up and showed me how to keep it clean. He also showed me how to change out the filters in my furnace and showed me which ones to buy on Amazon, this was not part of my appointment. Jason was super helpful, great demeanor and genuinely wanted to help. I was really happy with my experience and will definitely use their service again. Thank you Jason!!

MCS was the best customer service I’ve had in ABQ. The installation of my water heater which the company picked up at Home Depot for me is so nice and he did an amazing job. Excellent service and I highly recommend Seniors like myself to call MCS. From Mrs Glauner

MCS installed our HVAC system last year and we were very pleased with them. The technicians were punctual, professional, and friendly. A little over a year later, our Rheem AC unit failed due to a factory defect. MCS sent a technician out, Jason, who identified the problem right away. We were outside our installation warranty by a few months, but MCS replaced the part for free, which saved us about $1500. Jason was great to work with. He was friendly and professional and knew what he was doing. He replaced the part in a timely manner and now our unit is working great. We highly recommend MCS!

Miguel, Daniel and Alex were very professional, courteous, and I would recommend them to anyone needing their service. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves, took the time to explain the new thermostat. Today I had one part of my construction project completed. There were four gentleman who came to install my new mini split units. Miguel was the primary and he had a partner who I think his name was Jesus. They were absolutely awesome. They were great communicators about my project and very pleasant to be around. They did a great job.

This company was sent to repair my furnace by the Home Depot. Paul, the service tech was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He explained to me step by step his diagnostic process. The installers of my new unit, Miguel and Jesus were awesome! They were super professional and efficient. I'd recommend them to anybody who needed an installation. Overall, very good experience. They showed up on time and got the job done.

Just had a brand new water heater replaced by Miguel and Daniel. They were both very professional, friendly, punctual and kept their masks on. They were very quick to install making sure not to disrupt my three kids during their school day.
Miguel explained everything and didn’t mind me asking questions or to see what was in my old water heater.
Thank you for getting us on the schedule so quickly. We called Saturday for an estimate and we were able to have the install this morning. They said mid-morning and we’re here by 830. Will be recommending them to family and friends.

Had a fantastic experience with MCS. We had a challenging situation for installing a large mini split in my home. Found everyone at MCS to be responsive and reliable. Most importantly, Ian and Jason came to our home to help determine the best installation plan..plus unit to purchase. They were brilliant!
Everything got done in a timely fashion. Price was also very reasonable. The installation team was polite, cleaned up and fast. Highly recommend this group.
