My experience with the Ortega Quality Mechanical team was excellent! From the first phone call to the time they left my home. Jake accommodated my schedule and we arranged for service quicker than any other companies I had called. After replacing my outdoor leaky faucet, the team also checked some other indoor repairs I needed and fixed my garbage disposal! No more searching online for a dependable plumber, I've found my guys!

I would love to commend Jake and his team on the excellent service I received. This was a divine appointment for sure! Let me explain... My mom's water heater went out. I stopped at Lowe's to get a new water and to set up an install. Jake and Jordan were in the isle as I approached the Lowe's team member and they overheard me asking about a 50 gallon water heater and requesting an install. Jake approached me and said that he could do the whole job for $2500 and they could do the job that very day. After a quick thought, I agreed and he gave me his contact info. Requested that I take a couple of pictures of the water heater since it was located in the closet, send it to him with my contact info. I said I would and did just that. ( By accident, I sent the pics to the office number instead of Jake's direct line) Jake contacted me within a couple of hours, following up with me directly. He rearranged some things for that day and fit my mom's water heater replacement in that very afternoon just as he said he would! Michael and Jordan were the technicians that did the job, and they went over and above for my mom. They were professional and respectful and very sweet with my mom. I would recommend this company and this team to anyone. Thank you all for the service and the great customer service!!!!

Jake Ortega and his team are awesome! Got in touch on a Thursday, had Alex out on Friday to inspect the problem, and scheduled for a split system install on Monday. These guys moved their non emergency calls to the side to ensure my family and I to had running A/C again. Alex #1 and Alex #2 were super knowledgeable and worked quickly. They pulled out the old units and put in the new ones in about 6 1/2 hours. The work they did was very clean and the new A/C is running like a dream. Besides the great customer service and great work, the price was much more affordable than these "big name" companies. I would 100% recommend Jake Ortega and his team to take care of any HVAC issues you need. Ill definitely be calling them out to do my tankless water heater when I need it.

Great company, with amazing techs. Tankless water heater wasn’t working properly. Kenny came out, diagnosed & serviced my heater. He was very thorough, explained the issues and what was needed. It was a very inexpensive fix & service. I highly recommend using this company.

Hired Ortega Quality Mechanical to clean my dryer vent. Glad I did. It was discovered that there was over 50% blockage in the duct. The technician arrived on time, was friendly and did a great job.

The recent updated maintenance on our A/C & heater by Ken was excellent, as always! This lead to our decision to install a soft water unit after talking with Rick who had recently joined the team. He was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the process and the whole installation went perfectly along with his team member Kelly. They were professional and answered all my questions. We had called a different heating company and they determined we needed a new furnace for $4500 and soon! The carbon monoxide was that bad. We called a friend for a referral and Jacob Ortega came to help and said we're fine. No carbon monoxide issues no problems for several years to come. Thank you Jacob . We appreciate your honesty!

They did a swamp cooler to AC conversion. Their prices were great and they installed top end components. What a great company! From Nick who provided a very professional and detailed estimate to Luis and his crew and the very clean installation. From the begining to the end, everyone was professional and friendly. I own a rental home in Albuquerque and my property manager always uses OQM. They do good work, as you would expect, but beyond that... I recently overpaid an invoice and it was entirely my fault. When I spoke to Jake he was super understanding and refunded *my mistake* immediately. No "5-10 business days," no "we'll look into it and get back to you," immediately.

Just had a whole new refrigerated air unit, furnace & water heater ordered and installed today. Rick & Alex completed the install perfectly and correctly along with providing me all the info I needed to maintain the new units going forward. They left everything clean and spot on! The owner Jake was also very helpful and made sure to work with me where he could as well as made sure I was satisfied with the install. I've worked with the team at Ortega for more than 5 years for projects at both my home and a rental property. Work has included installation of new heating/cooling package unit, water heater installation/replacement (2), evaporative cooler installation, and miscellaneous HVAC and plumbing repairs. They are always the quick to respond and get the job done as promised and according to their estimate. I highly recommend them.

I was having probems with my boiler related to radiant heat issues. I called Jake. Not only did he address the issue, his employee Kenny, worked closely with me to address issue and test system to my satisfaction, even giving up a portion of his Saturday to come help test the system. This company does quality work and employs customer service oriented individuals. I will continue to call on Ortega Quality Mechanic for my regular maintenance as well as repairs.

First time using this company and I was very, very pleased. D'Angelo was on time, went the extra mile to put my swamp cooler to bed and get my heater running. He was polite but friendly and cleaned up everything before he left. I will absolutely use them again.

We scheduled a check up for our air conditioning system this year after our recently purchased house struggled through the hot parts of the 2022 summer. I appreciated that they took all the time necessary to inspect our system, address the issues discovered, and then re-calibrate everything. We also discussed having them return later to verify that the issue was well and truly resolved. Both gentlemen returned today to do just that, and again took the time necessary to verify that all was as it should be and working correctly.
