Called to have a master plumber at 300/hr to look over my whole heating system and to fix a leak that I self diagnosed to be a valve. What I ended up getting someone else to change a valve and leave with heat not working. I ran to the store to get the right part since the tech had wrong part. I called to get him to come back but was told to change the thermostat myself . Apparently ,other people were calling and offering $1000 for him to go to him which he told me, so tech left me hanging. Luckily, I'm handy changed the thermostat myself so the tenants wouldn't be left with no heat, which was why he was called due to a heating complaint to HPD. $395 paid, I changed thermostat, no look over of my heating system as I asked. The recommendation was to change boiler for 10k by tech; no diagnostics, no picture, just a by word recommendation. I asked for partial refund because actual work took under an hour and was refused any partial refund. Customer service was not good. Price was high. Job was partially done. Time of arrival: I waited until our window of time 10 am- 4pm after flying in from out of state. At almost 11 am, he asked if i still needed the service, while waiting at the property. Not professional.
