Nick is a good guy - very responsive and easy to communicate with.

I needed a new water heater and some repairs done to my boiler - everything came out great. Clean installation, no garbage left behind.

I especially like the fact that they used quality components from brands like Viega, Watts, Caleffi, etc. Most plumbers just use generic junk and walk away!

Big Apple Plumbing is the very best business to deal with. They always do an excellent job and leave your house immaculate when work is done. They always respond immediately and are reasonably priced. Nick is professional and always willing to explain what needs to be done. Jessica is on top of everything and is always courteous and personable. 10 Stars

If I could give 10 stars I would. From start to finish Nick and his ENTIRE crew were nothing short of amazing! They did a gas conversion (best thing you could do) and everything went smoothly. They removed the old boiler and oil tank, dropped off the new boiler and water heater, and installed everything within 2 days. They didn’t even leave a mess. I will always recommend my neighbors and friends to them. Top notch A++++++

Excellent service! I hired Big Apple when I had an issue with my low water cutoff coming on frequently. They always answer the phone and are very responsive. They scheduled me right away and show up on time. Their quotes are accurate, no surprise charges. They replaced my low water cutoff unit and returned on a second visit to clean the system at no charge. After using many different competitors in Brooklyn I am saving them into my phone contacts for any future needs.

Not often do you meet a company that treats you like a family member and see your boiler completion to the fullest extent. I am elated with Nick and Jessica’s team of excellent boiler installers. Big Apple Installations took care and found the best quality of a boiler to fit my budget and needs. Never ever have I experienced installation team of professionals who took out my old boiler , cleaned up with not a trace of a things in site. My home now has the top quality boiler and I have told all of my neighbors and other block associates in my neighborhood. Big Apple Plumbing is the best plumbing companies I have worked with. The completed my oil to natural gas conversion is just a few short days. The handled all the paper work with National Grid (NYC Natural Gas provider), including submitting for rebate when the job was done. They scheduled follow up appointment with NYC inspectors and made sure the job pasted inspection. However, after inspection one of the tenants complained of a loud rattling noise coming a few radiators. Nick one of the plumbers came by to assess and fix the problem it took him multiple hours. He was completely patient with my elderly father and tenant he fixed the issue without additional charge. This company has earned themselves a costumer for life!

I cannot say enough good things about Big Apple Installations! After DOB shut off my gas, I spent months getting misinformation from various plumbers, engineers, etc. I also got high price quotes and quotes for work that didn't even need to be done! It was a relief to start working with Big Apple. Nick is extremely knowledgeable, super responsive (always emailed and called me back quickly) and gave a very fair price. His team was professional and friendly. They saw me through the whole project from beginning to end. I highly recommend Big Apple!!!

I can't knock the work that was performed. But as a business owner of a trade when I perform a service call I notify the owner of my findings and I let them know of the services being performed and price before I even start...I wasn't given that opportunity. I would like to be fair of this review of the service..i would definitely use big apple again.

I’d like to leave this positive review for Nick! I don’t typically leave reviews but I was very wowed by his efficient service to help me remove a DOB violation on my boiler. He was very thorough on what the process entailed and made sure it happened expediently before a certain due date. He solely focused on having the DOB Violation removed which I very much appreciated since there was no upselling or being told I’d have to spend more money fixing other things that aren’t needed at hand. I recommend his services to all! Very kind and willing to help get the job done!

Have used them for a variety of services: boiler and water install/service, inspection, etc. and they are great: punctual, super-nice, very efficient in their work, quick to file records with city when needed, and very fairly priced. On January 22, 2025 I was told by another company I needed a new burner. I called Nick from Big Apple and he came over and confirmed. He quoted half of what the first company told me, but also said he was solidly booked for the next week. I begged him to see if he could do anything for me and by Friday morning at 8 AM a crew of workers came and started dismantling the old burner and putting together a new one. A few hours later, a second crew came and started doing all the piping and wiring And by 11 PM that night they finished and I was able to go to sleep in my house with heat.. The first time I had heat in three days. I am an 83-year-old senior woman and I am forever indebted to Big Apple installations for what they did for me. If you ever have a plumbing and especially a heating problem, let Nick from Big Apple Installations be your first call.

We hired Apple to take a look at our steam boiler because the automatic water feeder wasn't working. The technician located the problem right away and discovered it was a bad sensor. We also told him the boiler was leaking water from time to time. He removed the front and noticed a large crack - which means a whole new boiler:(. Apple was extremely accommodating with the severity and urgency of needing an emergency boiler in December. They rearranged their schedule and installed our new boiler in a few days (price & installation was very fair). Rachel at the office was extremely helpful & kind throughout the process, and owner Nick, as well as Anthony the technician, were both very professional and attentive to our needs. Nick and his team are amazing. This is the third time I have used them. It is so hard to find someone that you can trust and not feel like they are going to take advantage of you and charge you an arm and a leg. I have used a few plumbers in the past and decided to try Nick out with the 1st installing of a brand new hot water heater. Thank God I went with my gut because they exceed my expectations.
