We had Ryan and a few other guys out for duct and furnace cleaning in our new home last week. Knowing what I know now, I should have refused to pay at the end of the job. Ultimately they were here for less than an hour and only blew compressed air through some of the ducts and vacuumed from the basement. At the end of the job they turned on the furnace and the first thing that happens is candy wrappers and dust come flying out of one of the vents! I should have stopped there and started asking questions but I was being a naive new homeowner. We paid and they left. After talking with some others who had duct cleaning on a similar sized home, I realized that something was off. No one had a job take less than three hours, and everyone reported a comprehensive cleaning that involved much more than just blowing compressed air. Then I started looking at my ducts. Many are still dusty/dirty, and in one cold air return there are even cat/dog toys just laying in there! Apparently no one even looked at them.

We hired Five Star based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Google. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and professional, that’s why I’ll give 2 stars instead of 1.

The crew was running a few hours behind schedule that day. That’s not a problem. I worked on a carpet cleaning truck for years—I get it. Maybe they were rushing and dropped their normal standard of service. If that’s the case, they should have just rescheduled so they would have the time to do the job right.

Tim came to my house within a couple of hours of my phone call.. had an issue with my furnace leaking water. He addressed it and was very knowledgeable and reasonable. I will recommend Five Star Energy Solutions to friends neighbors and my real estate clients!

Can’t thank Tim enough! All around great experience. My furnace died out yesterday and Tim was referred by a friend. After a quick phone call he was out to diagnose the problem within an hour. Tim came up with an honest solution to stretch the life of the unit, but I opted for replacement. Tim offered a very fair price and had my unit installed in less than 24 hours. His crew was great and respected my property. I’ve found my go-to guy, highly recommend!

This company will do it`s best to rip you off at every turn. Do not do business with this company unless you too enjoy getting taken advantage of.
They have no idea what they are doing regarding pool heaters for sure. Drag you along until the heater is out of warranty then tell you there is nothing they can do.

I have a yearly service contract with Williams & Son and I would highly recommend them! They have excellent customer service, are very friendly and they do what they say they are going to do.

I really can't say enough about Rob from Williams & Son. I called him on Sunday night to see if he could come Monday to look at my furnace. The motor had blown. He called me back and was at the house Monday and within an hour had the motor switched out and the heat back on. Very much appreciated in the middle of winter with a storm coming.

Williams and Son is top notch! Rob is the most prompt, professional, and knowledgeable HVAC person I've every hired. I will not hesitate to call Williams and Son for my next job.

Recently my Sub-Pump failed resulting in damage to my Furnace and hot water tank. Rob Williams was concerned about the weather and was able to replace all three items in 48 hours.

I smelled gas coming out of my furnace one day and called Williams and sons. Rob came out that afternoon. He replaced the gas valve. Two hours later I smelled gas again. Called Rob he came over within hours. He replaced a joint along the pipe line. 24 hours later smelled gas again. Rob could not come out, he was traveling for his sons hockey game but had someone else at my house within hours. That man replaced the shut off valve and all the pipe and joints going into the furnace. After that NO gas smell. I leave to go about an hour and a half away. A few hours later my daughter calls the furnace will kick on not blow heat and then shut right off. Call Rob, he gets ahold of someone they come right over somehow the thermostat gets pulled out just enough it’s not making a connection with the furnace. A few hours later my daughter calls me....furnace is doing the same thing kicking on not blowing heat and shutting right off. Called Rob, now it’s Saturday at 8:00 at night he can’t get ahold of someone to come over. He calls me back says he is on his way home and will be at my house around 10:00 pm. He finds the problem immediately.......our propane tanks, which have sensors in them and relay that information to our supplier....Irish, are COMPLETELY empty. Called Irish at 10:30 at night there answering service took the information explained the circumstances they came over at 1:00 am to fill the tanks and coming back on Monday morning to try and figure out what went wrong. The reason I am writing this........Rob always answered, always came over if he couldn’t sent someone else, traveled 2 hours or so to get to my house at 10:00 at night. I will always call Williams and son for my heating and cooling and recommend them to anyone......

I called Williams & Son Heating this morning because I had a major basement flood from a water main break yesterday. The fire department turned off the furnace and I wanted someone with knowledge to turn it back on and make sure it was OK. He was prompt, courteous and understanding. If I could give them six stars I would. Highly recommended.

My water heater broke and dehumidifier died at the same time. I was back up and running within no time. Both the owner and employees are great guys and hard workers. Highly recommend this company
