The energy audit conducted by Zack went smoothly. He explained everything as he went through the process. Zack was super polite, respectful, and very congenial. My neighbors told me so many good things about this company, and they were all correct. I highly recommend the John Betlam team.

I have to add to my original review. The actual installation work was done yesterday by Ryan and Noah. I can’t say enough about what a pleasure it is to do business with John Betlam Heating & Cooling. Every step of this process has confirmed the good things I have heard. Quality work, customer care, and good communications.

No heat in 0 degree weather and negative wind chill? John Betlem was very responsive. Determined the problem (seized motor) and offered options for repair or replacement. I opted for replacement of my 23 year old furnace. I was warm and cozy with a new furnace within 24 hours.
Each technician, advisor and installer was very nice, personable and professional. They took care to prevent damage to floors, carpeting and walls.

We haven't had heat for over a week and the Thanksgiving holiday made a bigger challenge. They gave us room heaters until our heat pump could be installed, which saved us. We have used John Betlem for all kinds of things and have been very pleased every time to know we are getting a good deal (we got several quotes) and excellent service. The team arrived pomptly at 8am and were tidy, polite and explained everything along the way. Highly recommend.

Ben was nice, knowledgeable and professional. I needed assistance figuring out the bangs that were coming through my vents. He was helpful and made some recommendations on overall maintenance for my hvac water heater and airflow

John was outstanding! He was knowledgeable, polite, personable, patient and asked if I had questions which he answered thoroughly! He found a small gas leak in our hot water tank and replaced that as well with parts available in his truck! I would highly commend him for his services with John Betlem Heating and Cooling!! Bobby arrived on time and was polite, respectful and professional. He took his time thoroughly explaining his recommendations and didn’t pressure me in any way. He was efficient in servicing my boiler and making the necessary repairs. He went above and beyond to be certain the system was safely operating and that I was satisfied with his service. I would 100% recommend Bobby and John Betlem!

Needed a new heating system installed. Matt and Steve had to navigate tearing out a very old system and handled it with grace! The results and craft of the new system is amazingly detailed and I know it took patience and resilience to get through the job. I really appreciate it! Would highly recommend.

Furnace would not turn on, it was of course after 6pm and about 10 degreesout. I HATE the AI person. In emergencies I want to talk to a HUMAN. I even said Emergency and no one was available it said. My husband called as well, after I did, and he got the call back from a human quicker than I did! See AI isn't always good! We have a plan with them so that helped. They were able to get us in that night! Mike P was awesome! I have had a great experience with any technician we have had. Very professional and upfront. I HATE the AI lady! That will make me really re think doing another plan as I was freaking out and needed to talk to a human. It was extremely frustrating. But furnace is going again! Thank you Mike P!

**2.5 weeks and of course furnace is doing it again. NO HUMAN TO TALK TO! YET YOU SAY 24HRS. but not really....

Andrew did a fabulous job fixing my condensate drain issue. He did a complete diagnostic and was then able to go ahead and service the furnace while he was here (as I requested), putting his whole upper body inside the unit to make sure that corrosion wasn’t damaging the heat exchanger inside. I felt like this young man was fair, honest, competent, thorough and very communicative with me - extremely pleased with this company in my first encounter.

Called John Betlem this morning for an issue with my dad's furnace. They were able to get a tech out within a couple hours. Ben was the Tech and he was very knowledgeable and personable. Would recommend John Betlem and Ben to anyone needing service.

Ryan, Noah, & Braden did a great job with the insulation install we needed. They were quick, and professional. I really appreciate them taking time to make sure everything was prepped & cleaned up so that the snow wasn’t tracked into the house. The service was excellent & I’ll be using them again.

The crew sent to install was great. Very polite and professional. There was an issue with my smart t-stat that occured after hours. They were quick to repspond and take care of it. Steve Betlam also called me to assure me it would be taken care of immediately.

We got a great team for our brand new heat pump install! Justin was a great first contact, laying out all our options in an easy to digest fashion. His patience and effortless approach was honestly what cemented our decision to use John Betlem. Erik, Brad P, and Garrett were so nice, they worked clean and really respected our space. They kept us in the loop so we understood where they were every step of the way and when all was said and done Erik went over the new system with us from features to maintenance and everything in between. Justin even had the paperwork for our rebates and credits lined up and ready to go! I can’t say how much I appreciate their hard work today. They are for sure our go to the next time we need service.

When i called about needing a new water heater I was connected to a "digital assistant ". I don’t like "digital assistants" ... at all!

I was told the technician would arrive between 8am - 12 noon. You can't do better than providing the customer with a 4 hour window???? As it turned out, that wasted about 3 hours of my time waiting for Andrew.

However, once Andrew arrived he did excellent and timely work. Andrew gets 5 stars, your scheduling and digital assistant get 2 stars

We had a new furnace installed. The installer Chad was great! He was very courteous and professional. He explained everything they were doing and actually showed me what was being installed or changed on the old system. Then when they were done he went back through and showed me the work they did. I highly recommend Chad or anyone from John Betlem. I have been in this house for 10 years and have made the mistake of trying cheaper contractors. Which has always ended up with problems. Betlem is a little more expensive but I have never had an issue with them and they have actually fixed issues from previous jobs and just included it in whatever job they were doing at no extra cost! A++, 10 out of 10 service!!!

Wow. My John Betlem tech was awesome. He explained everything and taught me what to look for during my annual maintenance. The arrival time was same day and the pricing was affordable. These folks just made it onto my speed dial list.

Andrew was very pleasant and was fast in determining what the problem was with the furnace. He seemed very knowledgeable about the mechanics. He did not rush and seemed confident with fixing what was needed. Betlem isn't normally our heating contractor but i would not hesitate to use them on a continual basis. They are more expensive than our continual heating service provider. Called back in response to our emergency service report and were here shortly after that. Andrew is definitely an asset to their technical team. He explained the problem so that we could understand the problem. I would like to know if they have a program that offers a reduced price on their initial evaluation of the problem and so much off the final bill. Thank you very much. Raphaela Mamuscia
