Water heater (hybrid) installation was done perfectly, guys who did it were top notch and respectful. Great teamwork. Most unusually, these guys love their work, they even insisted I take a look at the beautiful work they did. They weren't kidding. Their work really was that good.

Jamison came to replace a leaking main line water valve in my basement. He explained what needed to be done and an estimate to do it. He coordinated with the water authority to turn the water to the house off. After the work was done he showed me what had been done. Jamison is very professional, knowledgeable polite and personable. I would recommend J. Betlem for your plumbing needs .

When Mary Ann and Kali helped me over the phone, it felt like I was talking to friends who had a knack for old homes and the perfect advice for our needs. First time homeowner having my first issue with a furnace. I was able to get quick and professional service that resolved my issue quickly and to my satisfaction. My business has been earned and I will continue working with them for both my furnace and AC needs based on the quality and professionalism of support I had today.

Our condo was built in the 1970s and still had the original PTAC units (5 of them) for heating & cooling. We replaced all with brand new units in 2023, which was a flawless and expedient sales/installation experience. Five brand new efficient and quiet units with wall-mounted remote thermostats installed. Nothing but praise for John Betlem team through the whole project.

This visit was a maintenance call to check on each unit and filters. Brady Sylvia from John Betlem called ahead to alert us of his arrival time, and did a perfect job on everything. Personable, professional and a knowledgeable resource, he covered some aspects of the units we didn’t know about, and showed us the filter cleaning process. The furnace repair technician and his apprentice were highly professional throughout the service call. They clearly explained the issue with the unit and outlined the steps being taken to resolve it. They kept us informed at every stage of the process, and thier friendly personalities made the experience pleasant.

On Wednesday, Feb 11, our furnace died in the middle of the night. By Thursday morning, Betlem had a tech out to the house to take a look! My furnace and A/C were both over 30 years old, so I suspected I was not about to receive any good news.

The tech, Todd C, was able to quickly diagnose the issue which ended up being a failed blower. He gave me some options to repair the furnace, but I elected to go with a full replacement. The furnace dutifully did its job for over 3 decades; it's time for it to rest.

On Friday, Mike came over and talked us through some options for replacement. Our house is very very old and historic, and so a lot of modern amenities are retrofitted in odd ways, which makes me nervous when contractors come to give estimates! Mike seemed very certain that they could get the job done without any complications and that confidence eased a lot of my worry.

They weren't able to fit me into the schedule for a replacement until Monday, but they offered a few space heaters to get me through the weekend. On Monday, they came and replaced both the Furnace and Air Conditioning system without a hitch. They were in and out the same day. The techs Akiel R, Charles L, and Jim V were exemplary and I could not be happier with their service.

All along the way I felt like there was full transparency and I didn't feel pushed or like I was being heavily sold to. Super happy with my experience and would easily recommend Betlem to anyone.

Most recently, Brady handled a routine maintenance visit and was outstanding. He gave me an honest, straightforward assessment of our system as it approaches the end of its life and did not try to oversell anything. He also arranged for someone to come out the same day to provide an estimate, which I really appreciated.

From the very beginning, I never felt pressured or guilted into a decision. Justin was honest and direct with his assessments and options; it never felt like "if you don't decide now, it's over!" and was patient with my desire to sleep on it before moving forward. So happy that I did! Jesse and Brad P were EXCELLENT! They were kind, efficient, and very thorough with their work. The electricians who stopped out to help install the thermostat were also amazing - very communicative and understanding. All of those who were part of this process (including the salesman, Justin S.) were also incredible with my eager-to-love-you senior pitty. Combined, everyone was courteous and approachable, and made the experience a very positive one. I would recommend this team every time.
They took my old system and removed it with no incident, brought in the new one AND repaired a duct that was falling apart. If it didn't look & sound so new, you'd never have been able to tell that anyone was there!

The team of Jamison, Caleb and Ilya installed my new hot water heater last week. All three were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They took their time to do the job right and explained everything to me as they progressed. Their positive attitude was prevalent throughout the whole process. Great service! My furnace died and I had a service tech here within a day. The sales rep (Mike P) was here the same day with an estimate. Once I made the decision to purchase they had the installers (Brad P and Steven) here the next day. The Installation went smooth with no issues. Your one stop shop for many residential services. This company has great values, great employees, and they go above and beyond. I used this company for replacing my water tank with the new hybrid model and replaced my furnace. They also upgraded my electric and fixed some wiring issues I had in my garage and fixed a few two way switches in my house that did not work previously. If you want a company that takes pride in their work and treats you like family. This is the place to go!

John Clark from John Betlem was absolutely wonderful! He communicated ahead of his arrival, he communicated during his visit, and he set appropriate expectations for the fix and timeline... And then exceeded them. In my opinion, he went above and beyond and really made a bummer situation where our furnace broke down in the middle of winter, into a positive one where I am telling everyone how awesome it was.

I was very impressed and pleased with the service provided by John Clark and by John Betlem. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone without question. Easy 5 stars!!

Adam, Miles and Andrew were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They are extremely professional and hard-working members of your team! They explained everything to me, reassuring me all along the way, I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience this has been, for what is a very expensive and stressful home repair/upgrade. A full furnace relacement! Miles came back out the next morning for “knocking pipes” and air in my system, radiators in an old house, and spent the time needed to help me. Pros: Able to get HVAC system replaced with short notice with good financing options. Issues below resolved in an acceptable manner.

Cons: Personal property and equipment damaged during installation requiring multiple follow-ups after I found them to get resolved. Includes poor workmanship (bare, disconnected wires, vent not connected, and sloppy installation of humidistat (which was supposed to be connected to the smart thermostat), damage to smart thermostat (required replacement; had no heat for 6 hours), ceiling damage, and damage to property near furnace (roughly $200). Issues were resolved at no additional cost, but significant stress and inconvenience.

Braden Dufrane and Joe French did amazing work with the blow in insulation in my basement, crawlspace and dormer area. Hopefully helps with keeping warm this winter and RGE bill lowered. They took their time to explain it to me and show me what they did. Very professional and Respectful. Completed the job within a couple hours. They kept the area clean and picked up behind them. I would definitely recommend them in the future or the family and friends.

I had an EV charger and a whole home surge protector installed. John betlem heating and cooling had a very competitive price. The installers were Ryan and Spencer. they were very professional and knowledgeable and they left my home spotless when they were finished. I would definitely hire John betlem heating and cooling again.

My husband and I are so happy that we chose the John Betlem team to replace our heating system. We were feeling good about the decision after Tom Tapke "sold us" on a hybrid system; actually he let the system sell itself. Today was installation day, and it came just in time because our old furnace was defunct and the temperature is dropping.

Our team members were Shamus, Erik, and Max. They arrived at 8 am and worked incredibly fast and efficiently. It's very clear that they're a seasoned team, accustomed to working together. No noise, no mess, no drama. They finished the job, told us what we needed to know, shook hands, and drove away before the end of the afternoon. By then we were already warm in the house.

These guys were amazing! Sean, Brad, Cameron, and Nick were all a blast to have installing our new system. They made installation painless and hassle free, even when a storm rolled in. We absolutely love the new heating/cooling units and can't wait to get into our basement to start work down there. They even put up drywall for our unfinished basement and tucked everything away nice and neat. We'll definitely be using them again when we get the rest of the house finished!
