We recently needed to replace our old HVAC unit, contacted Stephenson for a quote. Everyone we have had contact with so far has been wonderful. They are quick to respond and got our system up and running, and we sure have needed it this week during these sweltering 95 degree days. Thank you so much to everyone with Stephenson !! Great company to deal with.

Stephenson's installed my system new in my new house in 2014. 2 weeks ago the heat became inconsistent, mostly not producing hot air but once in awhile. I finally called them out for service and they sent Kenny out the same day. Kenny was great! He discovered a setting on the control board that probably should have been adjusted differently at the time of install. So I called & spoke with Percy, the Service Manager. In the end, after Percy got the "inside update" from the tech he called me back and said the setting wasn't "wrong" per se (it worked for 2.5 winters so far) but that the new setting was certainly more appropriate. As such, he refunded what I paid for my service call and apologized. Now THAT'S honest and fair. Can't really ask for more than that. Percy did like I tell my customers at work, "I may not always GET it right but I'll always MAKE it right". Percy & Stephenson's definitely MADE it right. 5 Stars from this home owner!

The job I requested was a small one but these guys knocked it out with stellar service from start to finish. I'd reached out to 2 competitors as well before deciding who to hire. Both of them advertise regularly on the radio and otherwise. One offered a quote roughly 20 times the Stephenson quote suggesting they really didn't want to help me. The other NEVER even returned my call. Stephenson will be my first call moving forward.

I am a new home owner of less than 5 years and a Rheem Rudd unit was installed with my home. Since day one I have had nothing but problems with this unit. In the beginning we called the company who we were advised installed the unit, Beasley's Heating/Air, and after several attempts to fix it we were still having problems. In hopes to find a company who would do what they say and stand behind their product we called Stephenson Heating/Air. We were so satisfied with their service that we obtained a service contract with them so they can continue to maintain our units. We have also told our neighbors about them and they too now have a service contract with them. Each time the techs have been out to our home they have been knowledgeable, polite and courteous. I always appreciate that when people I don't know are coming into my home. We have since, of our own choice, decided to have our Rheem Rudd removed and it replaced with an American Standard unit. The installation of this unit went smoothly as well. I would highly recommend this company to any one of my friends. They renew my faith that there are still companies in this world who care about the customer and are not out just to make a dollar. Thank you, Stephenson Heating/Air!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I had to call this company on numerous occasions before I ever received a callback. I setup an appointment to get the initial setup for my fireplace for Dec 12th from 2-4 PM was this was agreed upon on Dec 6th. I took half a day off work to be here for this appointment and the technician is a no call/no show. I sent a text at 4 PM asking if they were coming and still haven't gotten a response. This is completely unacceptable. Consumers beware of this company as they are unreliable!

We had a problem with our AC upstairs and called Stephenson's as they were the ones to install it 4 years ago. They came out same day and found a leaking coil in the attic (manufacturers defect.) They added enough refrigerant to get us cool again while the part was on order. The part was luckily under warranty and they were able to order the part and install it the same week only charging labor, diagnosing fee, and freon. Great professional and friendly company.

They installed our home heating and a/c when the house was built. We bought a service agreement and they carefully inspect everything twice yearly. Needed a repair once and they responded quickly. Professional, courteous always informative. Jason T. has been taking care of us, supplying peace of mind.

Our builder used Stephenson Heating for our new home in 2017. We had them come out and install a new air handler in 2019, and they did an awesome job! Customer service and technicians were out quickly and are very professional! We are new to the new to the North Carolina area and appreciated their help!

Stephenson AC has been doing Maintenance on my AC for over 12 years finally it broke And they installed a new AC unit in my house. The quality of customer care service is phenomenal. They care about the people. Thank all of the staff that work for this company.

Just had Stephenson install an American Standard furnace and variable AC unit in my house 2 days ago and, man, can feel the difference between it and the Carrier unit it replaced!

Jason came to demonstrate which units were available. Picked the AS Gold series with the variable speed fan and with the hot days following, felt fantastic! Installers worked fast and were friendly. System was demonstrated by the start-up guy, and was off and running.

Would highly recommend!

I called them because my heat was not working. Had to wait a couple of days for my appointment but they arrived promptly and were very friendly, nice and professional. They quickly found the problem and fixed it. Very reasonable price. Will definitely call them again.
