They took a day-and-a-half to return a call, then told me that although they had done multiple repairs in my home (refrigerator, washer, and dryer), they wouldn't look at a new appliance unless it was a warranty repair. Because they had never serviced my broken dishwasher, they wouldn't come repair it, now. To ice the cake, they wouldn't recommend another repair service. Giving anyone two stars for this treatment is generous.

Nothing but good words for Hopkins Appliance Service. Thanks for a great job. One year old Speed Queen Tr3 had to have a tub change. Speed Queen supplied the parts and Hopkins installed under warranty! Thanks to all involved, I recommend Hopkins for anyone needing appliance repair.

This is the second time that Hopkins has delivered professional service for us. Joe was our technician, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone with a greater commitment to customer service - with a jovial tone you just don't see in this industry! He quickly discovered the problem, and completed the repair. If there were 6 stars , he'd deserve them!

Lowes warranty sent Hopkins out to repair upright freezer. Technician came out and claimed compressor was bad after visual inspection, and left.
Upon actually physically testing compressor myself, found it to be fine. Checked a few other parts and found temperature control switch was bad. Purchased one from Amazon, installed and plugged in freezer. Working just fine now.
So several hours of my time, a $27 part, and a week without my freezer. But hey, they apologized and explained how well their technicians follow manufacturers guidelines.
    Cannot recommend at all.

Bought a brand new Whirlpool dryer. 3 days after delivery and use, it started making my clothes smell like fish. Called Whirlpool and they hired these guys to take a look. Technician shows up on the day of service (which was almost a week after I called Whirlpool), spends less than 10 minutes in my house, which included him taking the time to take off and put on his boots. Tells me there isn’t anything wrong and the “factory oil just needs to burn off.” Ran it on high heat for 3 hour at his recommendation. Clothes still smell fishy. Call Whirlpool back and they call these guys for the notes. They lie to Whirlpool and say nothing is wrong with the dryer. Now Whirlpool wants to charge me hundreds of dollars to have a different company come out to do the job these guys were too lazy to do the first time.

Don’t give these slackers your hard earned money or business!

Had a repair ticket with Whirlpool. Technician showed up when he said he would. Was quick and courteous when he diagnosed the issue. He ordered the part and returned when he said he would. He was quick and courteous with the repair. My dishwasher is running like new. Will happily do business with Hopkins again.

From the initial call from Tiffany to schedule our appointment, to the repair completed by Joe, nothing but a 5 star experience. Great communication, they call when they are on the way, and they are extremely professional. Dishwasher is now working great...and I will be calling Tiffany if I need appliance repairs in the future. Thanks again to Tiffany and Joe for great service

I called them in January for the service for a product which was under manufacturer's warranty and it's June now, there is no update on the service. Manufacturer sent them the parts in February but they told me that they din't receive the parts and that I filed the claim in incorrect manner, after making me waiting for 5 weeks. Manufacturer registered the incorrect date, but Hopkins was afraid that they will not get the money for the claim and din't wait until I clarified the issue with the manufacturer. By the time manufacturer registered the correct date (needed closing documents of my house), Hopkins sent the parts back to them (and they lied to me that they dint receive the parts). I knew this only after I contacted the manufacturer later and they told me that Hopkins sent the parts back to them.
They accused me of filing the claim incorrectly while did nothing wrong and they dint care to check with manufacturer or me. I called them just like i called them before regarding other appliances which all had correct date (all were registered on same date) and they performed the service without any questions.
My product was under manufacturer warranty and has extended warranty for 3 years and I still dint receive any service. They din't care to hear about what I had to say. Very unprofessional. If only they waited until manufacturer fixed the issue (which happened in couple of weeks), this delay could have been avoided. It was already difficult to get the parts due to supply chain issues and they amplified my problem, on top of lying.

Their tech was good, but administration is unprofessional. The lady talks to me like she is doing a very high stress job and doesn't have time to neither explain or nor hear what's happening. They don't care about customers. If something small happens outside of their usual process, they can't handle it.

It's not entirely their fault, manufacturer made a mistake, but Hopkins could have handled it better when they had chance, if only they cared a little about their client.

My Speed Queen dryer stopped working and I called Hopkins for the repair. They sent Joe, who was very professional and on time. He was able to diagnose and repair the heating element in minutes. One call and it was fixed. Definitely great service.

They can barely manage to answer the phone, let alone fix appliances.

After the first visit to fix the ice maker on my refrigerator, the very next morning my LED lights started blinking and stopped working, in the same place the technician had to work to fix the ice maker.

When I called the next day the promptly said the 2 issues were not related - which I find very hard to believe - and refused to come and check unless a payment of $100 was made for the visit, the cost of the fix would be additional cost.

5 minutes after posting my review I got a phone call asking if I still wanted to keep my appointment, they still need to come back and finish the job on my microwave door that has design flaws. This is my 7th visit from Kitchen Aid service in 1 year. I had issues with all my appliances and I'm on my 3rd dishwasher after 2 previous leaked and damaged my kitchen floor and subfloor.

I'll update after my service appointment next week.

After the response I got not only I'll let Kitchen Aid know I'll also post a complaint with BBB. Unprofessional does not even begin to describe your company retaliation for a customer posting a bad review, that's really a great example.

Hopkins Appliance Service were very prompt in returning phone calls and honoring promises! The tech they sent out (Dustin) was very knowledgeable, professional and very punctual; and went the extra mile to accommodate me in his schedule even though the time I asked for was inconvenient for him. He identified and fixed the issue with my washer within a matter of minutes. I highly recommend Dustin and Hopkins Appliance Service!

Service tech showed up on time. He was very familiar with my Whirlpool fridge. He had the ice maker diagnosed within minutes. He provided a temporary repair and ordered the necessary updated new door, under warranty, which he will replace when it arrives. I will use this company when future needs arise.

Greg was helpful with the diagnosis and placed a special order to Whirlpool for a new freezer door for our side-by-side refrigerator. Joe was our tech and did a great job on the repair. Was friendly, helpful and very detailed during the repair. Great job! Thank You! The office followed up with several appointment reminders and had to reschedule our repair, the morning of, for another day, but in the end not a big deal. Good end result, will use Hopkins again in the future.

Had to submit a warranty service ticket for our brand new Whirlpool wall oven/microwave combo and they utilized Hopkins Appliance Service for the repair. Dustin came out the first time and diagnosed the issue within a matter of minutes, but needed to order parts. They were communicative throughout the entire ordeal and once the new parts arrived they called me to scheduled the final repair. Dustin came out this morning and worked his magic and we have a working microwave for the first time since we moved in. Dustin was awesome! Fast, efficient and super knowledgeable. Would recommend him for any appliance repairs.

Wonderful service! Joe, service tech with Hopkins Appliance, came out and diagnosed the refrigerator problem that a previous service company told me was not a problem! Joe entered with a smile and was most professional, caring, and proficient. He was thorough and did not rush to finish. Joe ordered a part and returned two weeks later to install it. Again, he took all the time needed and was most careful. He truly cared about “getting it right” and obviously placed the customer first. The best repair service tech around! Ask for Joe!!!

I have a stackable Electrolux washer and dryer I talked to someone to confirm my appt and they were there the next morning about 10 o’clock. He knew immediately what the problem was and did the necessary work. He removed his shoes before coming in. He was very friendly and courteous. I would recommend these people to anyone. Great job.

I can not say enough about the professionalism and quality of work of the owner and the service technician. They replaced a sealed system leak in our refrigerator (which a lot of appliance repair people will not do).
They really worked with us in helping to deal with the Electrolux extended warranty department which is horrible.

They came out to fix our washer and when the tech left it broke again immediately. I told the tech that showed up that a piece had broken off the fin and he would need to get that out of the machine before replacing it. Turns out he just replaced the fin and didn't bother to remove the broken piece from inside the washer itself so that piece seems to have lodged itself somewhere and the machine is even more broken than the first time

We called Hopkins to give them the opportunity to make it right and they said they would try to squeeze us in for Thursday and they would call us to confirm but we never heard back.

I called my home warranty company due to a pool of water under my washer. Technician came to house after waiting a week on there schedule and paying upfront, they could not find the issue. When I called back because the washing machine was making a new sound after the technician left, (a clanking sound), I was greeted with a very rude and insulting phone call. Saying that I wasted his time, that he only speaks rudely to customers like me. I will have anyone from that company that was to try and come out criminally trespassed. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I will be letting my home warranty company know about this and recommend them not to use this company.

When I contacted the warranty department on my 3-day old Whirlpool microwave, I was pleasantly surprised to not only get someone "live" but also someone who was friendly and helpful and who found an available contractor who could be sent within a few days. After scheduling and within 48 hours, I received a confirmation call from my assigned appliance tech (Joe, at Hopkins Appliance Service). Joe was communicative and clear about his arrival time [he was early, which is prompt in my book!]. He was also thorough in his assessment of the issue and honest about a remedy to address our situation. Very pleasant, personable, and professional. Overall a VERY POSITIVE experience and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Joe at Hopkins Appliance Service :))

Dustin arrived on time and within minutes had diagnosed the problem with our Whirlpool refrigerator. The fan motor had quit working causing the ice maker and refrigerator compartment to stop cooling.
Dustin had the fan motor in stock in his van and replaced the defective one. He ran through a series of checks to ensure the replacement fan worked properly.
Dustin was very polite and even removed his shoes prior to entering our house. He was very knowledgeable and provided excellent service.
I will definitely use Hopkins Appliance Services again should the need arise and will definitely recommend Hopkins Appliance Services..
