Appliance Repair reviews in Raleigh, North Carolina
-
I had confirmed appointments with this company on two separate occasions to repair my appliance, but they failed to show up on either day. They did not inform me or provide any updates regarding their absence.
On the day they finally arrived, they were unable to repair the unit and left without any solution. They rarely answer the phone and only return calls after I leave several messages on their answering machine.
I find their behavior to be ignorant and incompetent. -
The service technician, Jonathan, was prompt, professional, and had my best interest at heart. He didn't try to sell me. He listened and gave good and honest recommendations.
-
Technicians did not have the proper tools to be able to move my stove and make the repair. This is not an issue with the technicians themselves. Sears should not be servicing GE ranges if they do not supply their technicians the proper tools and training.

My technician was timely, communicative, efficient, helpful and also educated me on exactly what my problem was. Great experience!

I thought Phil's service was fantastic. He performed the work quickly and was very good at answering questions

Phil was kind, polite, efficient, and professional! Thanks so much for getting our dryer running quickly!
-
We were impressed by Daniel in that we think he’s a honest and down-to-earth service repairman.
-
We were able to get an appointment quickly and our technician, Timothy, was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining everything to us. We are happy with the service.

Terrance was very good! An excellent repairman.
Booking the service was annoying: "Mikey" had a strong accent and was not easy to understand and was far too pushy to sell the warranty. AND Mikey did not fully explain the details of the warranty until the end of the conversation, when I understood the bad characteristics of the warranty. -
8-9 visits over 4 weeks, still not fixed, had to hire the HVAC tech that sold me the unit originally, at a a cost of ~$350.

I appreciated my technician Steven’s clarity on the cost & what it would take to fix my 15 year old Kenmore range. Buying new will be less expensive. I work from home & he was very professional & quiet while I was in a meeting when he arrived. He was also very patient. I would contact this service for any future repair needs

Zack was thorough and accurate in his assessment of the problem and resolved it quickly. It's refreshing to get a competent technician from Sears . The scheduling is a nightmare!!! You need better customer service .

Terence called on his way, inquired about issue. He was knowledgeable, patient and efficient. Terence evaluated the issue, explained it and provided outstanding service. Thank you for loving what you do and doing it with the passion!

Tech arrived on time, was efficient at diagnosing the problem, had the parts to fix it and was done in an hour. Pricing was a bit steep (over $450 for an hours time and a $70 part) which is why I didn’t give 5 stars. Bottom line though - our Kenmore washing machine got fixed and got done quickly.

Daniel arrived and quickly knew what was needed. After securing a plastic part from his truck, he quickly and successfully repaired the dishwasher baskets and installed them. Problem solved. Daniel, a man of few words, is a born "fixer". He has provided appliance help for us in the past and always does a great job.

Jonathan has been here multiple times, and we are so glad when he is our technician. First Rate. He is very professional, knowlegable and thorough.

TERRIBLE. Do NOT recommend. I had a service scheduled for today for my refrigerator that is broken. Technician pulled in my driveway, did not even knock on the door or yell or ANYTHING then took a picture and said nobody answered the door and left. I am disappointed with this company and disgusted with this employee.

I took off a day from work yesterday for a 4 hour time block when a technician was supposed to arrive, 4 minutes before the 4 hours were up I get a notice that my appointment was rescheduled for the next day requiring me to take another day off for a 4 hour block again. No way to call anyone at Sears and speak to a live person. When the technician arrived today he was polite but when he was working proceeded to play music on his phone which was very annoying as I was trying to work upstairs. Sears truly does not care about people at all.

Daniel, the technician that came to the house was fantastic! Open and honest and answered all of my questions - and gave me information on how to prevent the issue in the future, etc. The call center that called to confirm the appointment was way too pushy on wanting me to sign up for the full warranty program. Had to say 'no thank you' about 10-15 times...to the point where I was close to hanging up, but I wanted to make sure the appt will still be confirmed.
