Willie was very professional and did a great job answering all of my HVAC-related questions. He did an excellent job servicing our units.

Excellent! Great service. Easy to set up.

Although the AI kept indicating the technician was on their way for quite some time, Ignacio did an excellent job repairing my washer once he arrived.

Technician did not appear knowledgeable about this type of ice maker. He first claimed the entire control panel needed to be replaced, but then when the warranty company pushed back and asked for proof, he didn't know how to prove it without getting a supervisor on the phone to walk through each step. But before the supervisor walked him through it, I heard him say multiple times that he wanted to just leave and go handle the rest of his appointments. Then once he and the supervisor went through a bunch of steps, he proceeded to tell me that everything works fine, when clearly we are still seeing the problem. He blamed it on ice buildup caused by condensation which he said was caused by us keeping the door open too long. I explained that I had completely thawed and dried the ice bucket out last night. He said ice doesn't build up that quick. I said well, obviously it did, and he basically told me my word wasn't enough for him to believe that I really did clear out all the buildup. So I guess I'm lying? He told me to just let the problem happen again and keep calling the warranty company to put pressure on them.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Here is why:
They literally took my money and never provided the service!! I think this is the definition of stealing. I requested a service back in April. They scheduled the service on a Friday and charged me about $400. No one showed up. I called the customer service and was on the phone for 6 HOURS (yes, 6 hours). All I was told was that they had a system glitch no one will show up today. My life was miserable with the broken refrigerator. Then, they rescheduled a new service appointment on the following Monday and guess what? I stayed home again and no one showed up!! They canceled my request but never issued me a refund. I have been in contact with them multiple times since then. All I hear is we have approved your refund and have escalated your case to our billing department and they will contact you within a few days. After several weeks of wanting I called them again and the same scenario: we apologize. We have escalated your case and the billing department will contact you. It is November and the escalated case has not been reviewed by the billing department yet.
I tried to dispute the charge by the credit card company. They sent them the tracking information of the parts which was covered by the warranty and refused the dispute (it was a lie; I was disputing the cost of service that I paid and never received but they argued they delivered the parts which was paid by the warranty).
Long story short: STAY AWAY FROM THEM. They take your money, your time, your nerves and provide no service.
I will update this post if they issue me the refund.
Update 1: 11/7/2024 no refund has been issued yet!
Update 2: As you see, they asked me right after my comment to email them. I emailed last week (11/8/2024), and since then I have received absolutely no response; not even the confirmation that they received my email. As of now, they show no responsibility and care for the customer and my advice is STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
Latest update (12/10/2024): They contacted me and said they will process my refund only if I return the parts (parts were covered by my refrigerator's warranty. I agreed to return them (I don't need them) but they say I am responsible for the shipping cost of the parts and they refused to reimburse me!!!! Wow! Unbelieve. They take no responsibility for they mistakes. It was not my fault that they scheduled two appointments and their technician never showed up! Now I have to spend more money to send them back the parts. -
Service was great! Easy to schedule, arrived on time & problem fixed. Would have given them 5 stars, except they overload your inbox with an avalanche of emails as soon as they have your address, and they don’t take AMEX.

Repair technician communicated well before arrival and quickly identified the problem. He had the part he needed and was able to fix my dryer within 15 minutes.

The work of my tech, John D., was excellent, courteous and professional. He worked quickly and explained what was going on. I was less happy with the communication from the dispatch center. I don't expect that a repairman can always be on time, but Sears Repair promised they would keep keep me updated by text. They did not do this. Going on the tracking function they offered also did not work at all and gave misleading information.

Edmar was on time and worked efficiently with obvious experience with refrigerators. He explained and easily understandable terms what my options were for my condenser. He was friendly and patiently answered additional questions I had about my refrigerator. Highly recommended.

The service was good, but thought the technician was supposed to be responsible for taking old parts. We don't have an open dumpster, it's a compacter. You can't put metal pieces in it. I told him that. Needless to say, he didn't take the old part. Now I have to find a place for it.

Terrance took time to troubleshoot our refrigerator problem and methodically took steps to determine the root cause, and fixed the problem.

The technician,Edmar, was super nice and very knowledgeable. However the company, Sears Appliance Repair was horrible. Just a huge ripoff. They charged me $400+ for an icemaker which they ordered from Amazon that costs $130. They charged me $400+ for labor which consisted of of removing 4 screws and reinstalling them in new unit . Took 12 minutes-start to finish. Last money they will get from me. I will share with all friends and neighbors.

Great service, highly recommended. The technician Jonathan fixed the issue promptly.

Technician, Terence, was very professional and knowledgeable.
Give expert advice and educated me on the workings of my refrigerator -
Thought he was super helpful. And did a great job of talking us through the issue and laying out the options for resolving. Was credible and trustworthy.
-
He is knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, polite; could not be more pleased.

I have been trying to get my refrigerator repaired since May. Sears has had 5 appointments to perform the repair of my ice maker. It is rude and unprofessional for Sears to make you wait ALL DAY LONG, from 8 am. and 5 p.m. And then not show at all. Today is the second appointment Sears has failed to show up and failed to email or call to say what the problem might be. You are supposed to wait all day and then NOTHING. When you call in, the automated systems makes another appointment for you. There is no way to contact a human at Sears to find out when or if the repairman will show up. It's a disgrace for a once-great company to have become this sham of an operation.

Terrence was awesome. He did a great job of explaining things and giving me options.

My Service Technician arrived promptly and was quick and efficient with his diagnosis
-
The person who did the work was fine. The AI phone system is the worst. I will not use again because of that

Just the facts!
1)I was asked to pay up front for parts and some of labor, which I didn't process how unusual that was until the tech left. I get paying for the parts, but not the labor until the job is complete.
2)I scheduled it for 7/7, but the tech put it in for 7/1 when I told him I'd be out of town. After I rescheduled, we got a confirmation email, but a a no call no show for that day and was forced to reschedule two days later. On 7/9 we got another no call no show with a forced rescheduling for the next day. Tech showed up with no heads up call, and then I get a message while I'm in the shower of a "sorry we missed you!". Luckily I ran out and got him. He made an excuse of not having my number, but when I offered him my contact before I left he confirmed it without a problem. He blamed all of it on "the new AI system", which is half true at best.
3)only good part was that it seems fixed.
Never again!
