If you run a commercial kitchen, you can't do better than National Food Eqpt Service. That team (and especially the tech Charles) is especially skilled and professional.

As someone who runs a local business I have to say how absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL they are. We scheduled an emergency call with them and confirmed it, one of their drivers drove TWO AND A HALF hours to get here to do the job only to be told after waiting an hour for the secondary worker that they cancelled the job. No call to us, not even a call to the worker. That’s the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever dealt with. Please be aware that if you need something in a pinch, these definitely aren’t the guys to call!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Received great service from their technician on a same day call on 5/29. Came out to diagnose a fryer. Tried a couple of fixes, one of them involved replacing a thermostat.

He thought it was fixed, left the site and 20 mins later the same issue happened. Called the office no problem they dispatched him again. This time he realized it wasn't the Thermostat and I asked would we still have to pay for the new thermostat and he mentioned no he'd remove it and order the other part we needed.

Today we received an invoice and that same thermostat was there. I thought it was a small error so I gave the company a call to make them aware... That's we things went south. 0-100 within 30 secs.

Long story short told the General Manager what happened he said his tech wasn't authorized to say he take the thermostat off the bill. He then threatened to "Send us to Collections" if we didn't pay. We gave no indications that we wouldn't pay the bill but he totally went berserk and threatened us and hung up.

Good technician... very bad management. But we will not be taken advantage of.

Also, still no fix with a $785.49 bill.

Summary: Not a good experience with this repair company. My Samsung washing machine had been going out of balance extremely often and some research indicated it was likely the springs on the tension rods. They insisted on a completely different, far more costly repair at $650 (I can buy a new machine for that). When I asked for them to just do the repair I originally requested, labor was going to be $200 for probably 30 minutes of work. After replacing the parts myself and running 20+ loads since then, we haven't had a single out of balance issue. I would not recommend this repair company.

Detail:
Our Samsung washing machine is about 4-5 years old and has been going out of balance A LOT. If you go on youtube and search Samsung washing machine out of balance, you see tons of videos with my exact model demonstrating how to replace the rods because it's a known issue.

I went ahead and purchased some rods and then used thumbtack to try and find a company to do the replacement since I was very busy and wanted to save myself an hour or two. When the tech arrived he assessed the washer in about 30 seconds and said definitively that it wasn't the rods. It was the rotor position sensor, stator, and a processing chip and the repair would cost $650. At this point the tech had not run a diagnostic on the washing machine through either the machine itself or any sort of external device. His assessment was to push down on the basket to test the rods. I work from home and was 5 minutes away from a meeting so I didn't have a lot of time to think this through and told the tech I would get back to him. I paid the $95 service charge fee and he was on his way.

After a few more days of research my wife and I decided to just ask them to replace the rods and we would replace the machine if we were still having problems. I called them up to ask what it would cost for the labor to replace the rods, I was told it would be an additional $105 on top of the service charge, which would go towards the repair, for a total of $200 in labor. At this point I decided to do the work myself and replace the rods because the youtube videos say it takes less than an hour. I complete the work in about 45 minutes while watching the youtube videos so I'm sure it would have taken them no more than 30 minutes.

Since then, I have run the washing machine 20+ times, purposely trying to get the washing machine to go out of balance, and it hasn't gone out of balance once. I wouldn't recommend this repair company based on my experience.
