Sears is gone. Remaining appliance inventory is being liquidated by a company called "more for less." Example: NEW Whirlpool and other clothes washers starting price of $275. Price seems fair, but you don't get the famous Sears warranty... and this place only fixes what it (the liquidator company) sells, not appliances that you bought from Sears, and not appliances you bought from anywhere else.

Very respectful, very efficient and he finished in a reasonable time, also provided information about what type of job he performed and explained what he replaced. Also he explained what to expect in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Arrived in morning and worked diligently to repair my washing machine. Knew exactly how to repair and was up and running faster than I expected. . Really appreciated his knowledge and his care to leave the place clean when he left. So good to have several washes done since he left!

Sears was able to get a technician out to service my appliance quickly. The assessment and repair occurred on two separate visits because parts had to be ordered, however both visits were under an hour. The technicians were polite, professional and efficient. While I am dissatisfied with the price, I appreciate the service.

I have to say, the warranty service provided by Sears was outstanding! From the booking process, to having the techs show up on time, and completing the repairs in short order, it was as simple as could be. I’d rate them higher than 5 stars.

Booked an appointment because my washing machine door gasket was leaking. Look up the parts and figured. Yeah I’ll pay whatever for the labor, but the parts should not be so bad.
I should’ve read the reviews on Sears home services before booking the appointment Because the technician, Phillip, tries to charge me over $200 for a $60 in amazon part and Over $100 for a $25 part to replace the door gasket on my washing machine.

I ate the $129 diagnostic fee because I refuse to be taken advantage of by this company or this technician.

Do not utilize this company’s service services because it is a rip off plain and simple. I went on Sears home services website to look at their parts that they sell. The door gasket was $89 through them. Yet he was charging over $200. Ridiculous

I have given Qudell a fair opportunity to respond; unfortunately I now need to leave this negative review.

The experience started positively. He responded quickly, and offered to diagnose the dryer the next day. His payment terms were presented fairly... 90 dollars to diagnose and repair if no parts needed to be ordered payable on the first visit... An additional 20 dollars payable on the second visit if parts needed to be ordered (and the cost of parts if he ordered them).

He arrived, diagnosed a broken dryer motor and left. I paid the 90 dollar fee. I found the part online and ordered it, he confirmed a follow-up appointment on Thursday of that same week.... Then, he stopped responding...

Thursday came and went... I sent a few messages asking for confirmation of his intent to finish the repair... No response. Now 2 weeks later I still have not received any response. In my last message I advised him that I didn't want to be forced to leave a bad review, and asked nicely for any type of response.... No response.

I hope he is alive and well. However, if he is well then his lack of response is unprofessional at best. I feel robbed by the diagnostic, and abandoned as a customer.

If he answers any new customers, please do not fund someone who only is trying to collect diagnostic fees with no intention of performing the follow up repairs.

I am shocked that an apparent 5 star service provider has preformed this level of disservice.

*** Update due to his response to this review... See attached photos to judge the truth with evidence.

Anytime someone is running a business and using Google to screen their calls, it's a huge red flag.

Called this morning looking for someone to help my mother- Google assistant answers, I say what I'm calling about ........ crickets. Silence. Nothing. Nnnnnnope. You're a business with apparently "100's of customers". Get a professional CRM, not a free personal assistant.

I'm sure there are plenty of people that have had great experiences, but there are also plenty of reviews here saying he takes pre-payment on Venmo for parts and then ghosts.

Thank God for Google reviews. This business is a walking red flag.

Stay far away from this guy!!! Scammer and will order parts and then never come back with them nor return your messages or money for the parts. DO NOT Recommend!!

You were paid for your trip and parts in advance. You have to respond to my calls and texts in order for me to ghost you but good try. There are 8 other people in the last two months who have a similar story. Keep scamming but karma will get you. And if not karma then the law for being a thief!

I need someone to fix my washer ASAP I called a few companies they give me appointments between 2 or3 days and then cancel. I founded Q online, and based on his reviews I called him. He answered back immediately, I explained that I needed service. He fixes me between appointments, on the same day.
He was very professional, and communicative, and had good value for the service. I will recommend him 100%.

Our washing machine started making a loud noise and Qudell came to our house, diagnosed the problem, and helped me with how to contact GE for a part under warranty. He then came back very quickly when we got the new part from GE and installed it for us. He was so nice and easy to work with! Highly recommend.

TLDR: Initially he was responsive by text which is great! He is also a pleasant and friendly guy, but at this point I couldn't recommend the company for any repairs. I am having another company and actually fix the washer. I am counting this as a (roughly) $500 lesson in just going through Maytag directly for repairs.

Issue with new washer (bought in Feb), it would start the Sense cycle and then just go to Done. I am going to try to just stick to facts here.

6/29 - Saturday we initiated contact by text and I agreed to the Sunday charge as I didn't want to wait and wouldn't be home the following week during the day to be there for a service call

6/30 - He came out, did some diagnostics and exploring and decided it was likely the capacitor. Scheduled to come out Tuesday and replace.

7/2 - I texted to confirm Tuesday and got pushed to Wed.

7/3 - He showed up, replaced the capacitor and the issue did not resolve. Further troubleshooting identified it was the lower harness, which he said had rust in the connector and would need to be replaced.

7/11 - I texted to ask if he got the part. No response.

7/18 - I text again to ask when he would be out, he apologized, gave an explanation and said he would there Friday.

7/19 - He texted to say the parts store didn't have the part (or did, but it was a return and he didn't want to use it - which is fair), and we rescheduled for Monday

7/22 - Monday he showed up and replaced the harness. He said he would send me a detailed invoice I could send to Maytag for reimbursement.

8/9 - Still no invoice I can send to Maytag, and I texted to ask if I could get it that weekend.

8/11 - Just over two weeks later we're having issues again with the washer - it is making a horrendous noise during the spin cycle. When I look under it the capacitor (that he replaced) is hanging loose and banging on the floor. I take pictures and send them to him saying we have an issue and asking when he would be able to look at it.

8/12 - No response to my text.

As of now, I have not gotten a response to the text about the capacitor loose and banging on the floor, or the invoice he supposed to send.

At this point I have given up and went through Maytag to have someone come out. When this other company looked they identified that Q had failed to put back a piece of the washer (a plastic shroud that covers the pulleys).

The repair person who came out is also going to need to replace the lower harness again as one of the wires has ripped out (probably from all the banging and not because of anything Q Repair did, to be fair). I still had the old harness Q replaced and showed it to this other company, they cannot identify any rust on it (which was the original cause according to Q).

In summary, this is going on two months and I am no longer getting a response from Q. I am going to end up replacing the capacitor AND the lower harness all over again.

    Quick, professional and informative!

Our dryer wasn’t working. Q was able to make it out to us in about an hour. He listened to what I had to say about the issue, told us what he thought of it and then when he found said issue he not only showed us it but explained how it happened. Will be calling Q again if I have any other appliance issues.

I contacted Q Repair Appliance Service on May 31st for a problem that I am having with my fridge. Q was very quick with responding back to me. He came out that same day and diagnosed the problem to be the motherboard, he helped us order the $400 part and told us to give him a call or text once the part came in. The part arrived June 5th. I called Q immediately to get on his scheduled so he could come and complete the job.

It is now June 13th and Q has not responded to any of my wife and I's texts or phone calls. Absolutely nothing, just hanging us out to dry. I have never dealt with a repairman who has done this before. In looking at some of his bad reviews, this seems to be a pattern for him.

I wouldn't recommend this man to anyone. I am not one who writes reviews, but I had to this time to hopefully help someone else out in the future.

We now have to figure something else out, completely unprofessional.

This guy is a joke. At his first visit, he was very professional. He called me right back, and showed up same day. He quickly diagnosed my issue, and we ordered the parts I needed. One of the parts had to be ordered on his account, but I paid for it.

I never heard from him again. He has stolen my $278 part, and has refused to contact me, despite my leaving five voice-mails and over fifteen texts.

Avoid this thief. I read another review of him that was very similar to mine. I wish I had never called him. I went 2 ½ months without an ice machine waiting for him to come back and finish. The only time I've heard from him since the initial visit was his reply to my review. I guess he doesn't like the truth.

In response to his reply: This thief charged me $408.80 for his initial visit ($130) and parts through his account ($278.80) which he DID receive. I have the charge records from my bank. I re-ordered the remaining parts that he stole. They arrived in a week. I fixed the machine by myself (Q diagnosed it correctly) and it's working great now, soooo his reply definitely does not ring true. It IS true, however, that he never contacted me again after his initial visit. I will be taking him to small claims court to get my money back ($278.80, plus court fees). His explanation below is a complete lie. All parts were available. I was able to purchase them on AMAZON, MANITOWOC, and PARTS WAREHOUSE, and confirmed that they were correct through members of an ice machine forum. Avoid this guy. He's a thief and a liar. Feel free to contact me, and I'll gladly show you the proof...

I would highly recommend Q Repair Appliance Service. I had problems with both my washer and dryer. Q came out and diagnosed the problems within 24 hours of my first call. Both units required parts - he had the dryer parts, and helped me order the correct washer part. When the washer part was delivered by Sears, he came out the very next business day and fixed both units. He is very prompt, professional and responsive. Kept me updated about his schedule and when to expect him on both trips to my house. I give him my highest recommendation.

I was very impressed with Q Repair Appliance Service. I have a cook top stove with a warning light that would not go out. I thought it was just a bulb that needed replacing. I googled appliance repairmen and Q Repair came up with great reviews. I called and explained what was happening and he told me it was not a bulb that needed replacing. He promptly scheduled me, explained his service fees, diagnosed the problem and got it repaired. Also he was very courteous. I would highly recommend him.

From the very beginning Q was communicative. I must’ve called 19 other places before I got a live human. He even sent a text too! Call any place else and it’s a call center that re-routes you to dispatch locally. We discussed the scope of work yesterday and he was there at 1pm today. Not just on time, he was prepared and at our home for close to 6 hours. We gasped at how reasonable his prices were. Not only was he a pleasure to do business with, he was a pleasure to have in our home. Sincerely. We have had many experiences and I would never write a review unless I stood behind it 100%. A+ all around.
