Service tech was polite and on time! He quickly diagnosed where the water was coming from. It was the furnace exhaust. The silicone around the seal to the unit had deteriorated. He didn't seem interested in fixing it, he basically showed me the issue and that was it. I would have thought since I explained that AK&C installed the unit that he would have been more to actually make the repair. I had no problem with making the repair on my own, so all in all, it was worth the 20 minute visit.

We are new clients to Allen Kelly. So far they have been great. Our longtime hvac service person retired and recommended Allen Kelly. Their service person, Michael, made special effort to show up a little earlier than planned as we had a later conflict in our schedule. We have 2 HVAC units and he went right to work and completed all checks and adjustments and was very knowledgeable of our systems. Thank you Michael and Allen Kelly.

New heat pump with gas pack system installed in October. Then on 15 degree day this Monday our house was only 55 degrees inside. Called for service and Allen & Company could not send repair tech until Wednesday despite continued cold temperatures. Tech arrived on Wed as promised and found the outside temperature sensor that triggers gas pack activation had been improperly installed by the company in the wrong location such that the system exhaust was artificially elevating the temperature such that the gas pack was not being activated. Issue was reportedly repaired by tech. No apologies for improper installation leaving us without heat. No apologies for the wait for repair on a brand new system. Then we asked that he go ahead and do the seasonal maintenance on our one-year old upstairs unit that they also installed and maintained that had been making a weird noise while the tech was already here and while my husband had taken off work to meet the tech. That request was refused. Thus, we have to take time off to repeat the process for a long service window on the 22nd. They have no sense of customer service on two issues that in my opinion should not have occurred if the systems were properly installed in the first place by expert staff. One more issue of note. The Duke Energy rebate that was promised when the system was sold to us in October is now deemed not eligible by Duke and the residential install manager has not responded to my multiple emails regarding this issue. Very lacking customer service indeed.

Customer service and care was exceptional. There were no hard sales and we were given a variety of options to replace our unit. Clay Ewing and his team were professional, courteous and cleaned up after the installation. We highly recommend Allen Kelly & Company.

Called early morning they made the appointment for the afternoon. Arrived & checked out the unit outside & up in attic. Very thorough explanations as to what was going on and have couple of options. Pays to know someone who has used them for their home, they take care of their customers. Jason called to let me know he was on his way, he was very efficient we discussed the best option for my home.

**Misleading Pricing** We were able to get an appointment fast, the issue does seem to be fixed, and the technician was pleasant. However, when I called to make the appointment, I specifically asked if the $130 service call charge would cover the service if they were able to fix it during the visit. They said yes, as long as they did not need to replace a part or something like that. Well, they did not replace a part and it was fixed in 15 minutes, but I was still charged an additional $60 for labor. I still do not think the total was unreasonable for the quick fix, but I do not appreciate being mislead when I ask a specific question regarding pricing.

We highly recommend Allen Kelly for HVAC service. First ...they responded within minutes and were eager to assist with our HVAC running the heat strips constantly ... they were prompt ... able to get to us same day called (may not always be this fast). Our regular guy did not answer his phone for hours and then could not respond faster than 4 days out.Technician was through and provided professional and personable attitude and provided us assurance that we are in good shape upon departing. Will be our go-to company in the future.

I am so very thankful for Marty. I was using another company before finding Marty through a friend’s referral. Marty was diligent about diagnosing things himself and provided me with his own recommendations from his own findings. His diligence resulted in needing a new part installed vs. being told that I needed a whole new HVAC system. He was thorough, patient in explaining things to me, and got it fixed very quickly. Richard, the technician, called ahead and arrived on time. He was professional, experienced, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.

He quickly identified and fixed the problem, performed an annual service and explained what we need to do to keep the system running at top efficiency.

HVAC is like power. It has to work, especially when you have an 87-year-old family member.

We did a renovation in 2021. The HVAC contractor botched the system configuration. The house was barely livable for more than two years and that vendor gave us nothing but excuses.

Allen Kelly corrected all of their errors in a single day and charged us less than we’d paid in unnecessary heating and cooling bills.

If I was a homeowner or business owner in the Triangle, these are the only people I would trust with my HVAC.

Allen Kelly was professional & efficient through the entire process of our Trane HVAC/Gaspack installation. They were patient in explaining our various options without any undue pressure to choose one option over another. Although any replacement of an HVAC System is not an inexpensive purchase - they worked with us to get our best final price with very reasonable financing offered through Wells Fargo. Would recommend them heartily & without hesitation. -

My HVAC tech of more than 30 years retired...I was dreading finding another reliable HVAC provider! My neighbors recommended Allen Kelly and Co., Inc. as they had a very positive experience with one of their techs, Derek. I called and spoke with Tina (who was very friendly, courteous, and helpful!), and made an appt to have our heating system checked. I received a text, email, and phone call from Derek when he was on his way. He arrived when he said he would and got right to work. When he was finished, he explained the service he had provided and recommendation for when to have our AC checked. And, an added bonus...he wore shoe covers!! Derek was friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of my property. From start to finish, a fabulous experience!! I am so happy I made that phone call, Allen Kelly & Co., Inc. is now my new HVAC service provider!!

I was very very impressed with this technician’s work, follow-up, dependability, and knowledge. I had to have 2 parts ordered and it meant a lot that the same tech came to install each part when they arrived, since he was very knowledgeable about the problems I was having. That has never happened before with any other company and it made a huge difference since the problems I had were very unique to my house. I was educated by the info this tech shared and feel I am in much better hands going forward. 5 stars!

I'm leaving this review after having Raleigh Heating and Air come out to my home in August 2020.

I had a leak coming from my attic through my ceiling/wall because of my ac and I had Raleigh Heating and Air come out to investigate. The service tech reviewed the situation and said that I needed nearly $3,000 worth of part replacements (new pan, new coil, etc.) on a unit that is only 2 years old. I had used this company in the past and had a great experience so I almost trusted the tech, but I decided to wait and get a 2nd opinion.

I ended up having my unit fixed for $225 as the only issue was the system was not properly draining.

Raleigh Heating and Air tried to get over $3,000 out of me after parts + labor if I had went with what the service tech was telling me. Also, he kept pushing their yearly service warranty on me and even told me it would "help him" if I went ahead and signed up.

I will not be using this company in the future and I would warn you to be careful if you choose to use them. It was a waste of $60, but it could have been a lot more.

Excellent service, very good company to work with. I had several companies out here to do an estimate to replace our gas pack HVAC system, Craig The project manager, was very knowledgeable very helpful, very detail oriented, I felt very comfortable with him. He answered all of the questions that I had and they were many. They worked with us around our schedule and worked with us with a great price. Best price over all the companies I had out here. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone if you're looking for service experts, installation experts, and just a wonderful company to work with. 👍👍👍

Tyler McKoy was very professional. The one factor I like about Tyler is he clean up after himself even turning off the light in the attic! I have used Air Expert in the past and will use them in the future.
