Zack Woods has the patience of a saint! He worked in unpleasant surroundings to get my furnace up and running on the coldest day of the season (so far). He kept me informed of the steps he took. I was happy to add a maintenance contract to ensure smooth operations in the future. Thanks, Zack, and the team at Lakes Heating and Air Conditioning.

The entire process with Lakes Heating and Cooling was amazing. The initial phone call to set the appt was very efficient. The first technician to come out was Jake and he was very professional and helpful. Mickey then came out to give us an estimate (which was almost exactly what Jake told us). Mickey was awesome gave us a few options to consider. Once decided Denvir and crew came to do the new furnace installation. They were super efficient and completed sooner than expected. Looking back, all three appointments showed up on time and were very professional. The entire process was completed in 4 business days. I could not be happier. Highly recommend the entire team.

Jake was excellent. He always explains everything that he did. This time he did a maintenance check on my furnace for winter. I always buy the special package each year that covers the maintenance checks for my furnace (heat) and A/C which is a great deal. I did not pay anything today. Great company and great customer service.

Brynn and Maddox came out and performed yearly maintenance. Seemed knowledgeable and were friendly. They some good recommendations. They spent a good amount of time here, which made me feel like they took their time and did a thorough inspection. Overall it was a good experience

I've used Lake's Heating and Air Conditioning for several years and today was exceptional! Zach, one of their technicians who hadn't been to my home before, delivered outstanding customer service from start to finish.

He called ahead to let me know he was on the way, reviewed what the appointment would include, and work efficiently. He answered all my questions, explained everything he completed and emailed my invoice right away. I typically sign up for their maintenance plan, and today's service was a noticeable improvement compared to some past visits.

Mr. Taylor of Lakes came out promptly and restored our heat in short order. He checked a few other things on the furnace and made the necessary adjustments. I very much appreciate his professionalism and friendly nature. He explained things very well. Thanks again.

Nick was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Did his due diligence in looking over my furnace to try and assess the problem. Ran multiple tests to properly diagnose. Called on a weekend and they were very quick to come out.

Tom came out to my home to repair my kitchen faucet and address another issue I was having in the laundry room. The kitchen faucet was repaired and is working efficiently now. Hooray! I also asked him to show me the main shut off for the water from my well. He addressed the issue in my laundry room and work was scheduled quickly. Tom was very attentive to my requests and questions. I will be calling Lakes for future plumbing issues. I already you Lakes for my geo maintenance. Very happy!

Zack was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. He called ahead of time to let me know exactly when he would arrive, which I really appreciated. He wore shoe covers, explained everything clearly, and took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing.

He performed a thorough combustion test, cleaned components, secured loose wiring, and even shared additional helpful information, including suggestions about wire harnessing. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I felt confident in the work that was done. I would definitely recommend Zack.

Tom was awesome and did a great job. I appreciated his patience and willingness to explain some things to me that I was wanting to learn. They came even quicker than I thought when I had an urgent issue and the price was very reasonable. Their after hours automated system even actually worked to set up an appointment for me!

The repair representative Nick Deuri was very knowledgeable and professional. A good example of the perfect employee for Lakes Heating and Cooling.I definitely rate his performance at 5 and if I need any other work from there,I will try to get him to service my home again. Jake did excellent work. He was familiar with this heater and knew what to look for in a 20+ year old unit. He drove an hour to get the new blower and capacitor and still finished before lunchtime. He also helped me get on a service plan which also saved money upfront on the repair cost.

I'm so thankful for Jake and Ranko at Lake's for helping me with a repair to keep my old furnace going. They were both so patient with my questions and concerns as I prayerfully navigated the decision whether to repair or replace on old furnace. Good friends also highly recommended Lakes to me.

Denver did exceptional installing our new furnace. He was eager to explain the process and was right on time getting heat restored to our home.

I needed a new hot water tank, AC unit and furnace all on the worst day of the winter 2026 (1/26/26). I called Lakes Heating & Cooling and they responded immediately. Brad came out & gave me an estimate, Mike came at beginning of the work, then Denver Haddock and his assistant Isaiah worked non-stop tearing out my very old equipment and contacted me whenever a preference was available as far as ease of access for me later. They worked in the most bitter of circumstances and my house was warm in a day. Both Denver & Isaiah were very easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. If I have any needs in the future, including plumbing, they will be my choice. They’ve earned my trust!

On time, knowledgeable, helpful.
Tom did a great job on the installation of our new water heater. Tom made the access to the control panel and clean out spigot much better by adjusting the orientation of the tank. NO EXTRA CHARGE.
Tom and his supervisor were very contentious about keeping our space clean and neat. They even took the old tank out through our basement door and up a snow covered hill to make sure their was no damage to our stairwell and front entrance foyer. I would highly recommend Tom and Lakes HVAC. Great work, fast, efficient and willing to go the extra mile. Thank you Tom and Lakes HVAC.

Total class act. Aaron was very informative and patient with my multiple call backs and questions when setting up the service. Ron and Dylan were courteous and professional in fixing our central air back to peak operating conditions. Would definitely recommend Novak for all your hvac needs.

Before winter sets in, call them to ensure your system is performing optimally. Doing business with Akron companies is important.

I rarely use the word "excellent" in my reviews, but I am truly delighted with this team's work. They recently installed central air conditioning and also corrected issues from the previous furnace installation. They even installed ductwork for my range hood, a job other companies refused. Based on my experience with numerous contractors, I consider this team the best in the HVAC industry. Novak Heating and Cooling surpassed my expectations. Our furnace broke down and Aaron was there within 2 hrs of our call. Very professional and courteous. Most importantly did not upsell. Highly recommended!
