Jamal came out and did an awesome job of guiding us through the buying process. He went above and beyond to help us gather the information about tax credits, energy trust incentives, etc. to meet our needs. Would highly recommend. We got bids from a few other companies, and Columbia was by far the most competitive and most helpful. Also the installation was done in one day and they did a clean job and made sure to cover their tracks when they left. Definitely include these guys in your grouping of bids!

I had a great experience working with multiple teams from Columbia Heating. The project involved installing a new furnace, and tuning it to work properly. From the start, Jamal was very pleasant to work with. He provided professional advice on different brands and models and patiently answered all my questions. Next, the installation team did a clean and professional job, which included modifying a section of the duct pipe. Due to an air flow issue, the new furnace initially did work properly. So finally the tech support team stepped in. They made multiple trips to my house, diagonalizing and searching for solutions. Finally, everything worked out.

From my experience, I conclude that Columbia Heating is an honest, reliable, and responsible company. I highly recommend them!

Columbia Heating and Cooling performed modifications to my internal and external gas line to accommodate some remodeling. The personnel helped determine what could be done and efficiently and expertly made the changes which cleared inspection. I would gladly use their services again if needed.

Corbin did a maintenance service and realigned a condensation line. He gave us different options and was more than happy to do any of them. He did a perfect job.

Every where else was saying I needed a new unit and they were able to repair my furnace. It is up and running amazing. They are amazing and honest with their work as well as professional. I was then referred to Columbia by our attorney. Columbia came out and assessed the problem and to make a long story short installed a "Split" unit to mitigate the problem. All of the discussions were conducted remotely (1,000 miles away). I can not give them a higher rating that they were great, phenomenal, remarkable.

Had installed a new gas furnace and a AC by others. It was a Bleep show. It was undersized and the installers/mechanics were not made aware of the requirements made by me and agreed to by the salesperson. Nothing but back and forth with them and when I threatened to litigate a partial refund.

Columbia Heating and Cooling was easy to work with, professional, and prompt in their service. I really appreciated how they explained the different systems that were available and helped me make an informed decision. I ended up replacing my gas furnace and AC with a heat pump. So far, the system is working really well, and I’m very happy with my purchase.

I had issues with my AC unit. Called for a repair and was told the AC needed replacement. I got 5 bids for the job. Columbia Heating clearly gave us the best deal. The installers were incredibly friendly and offered great advice. I highly recommend them.

The team (Marisa, Trevor, Steven, Cesar, and Parker) did a phenomenal job on the heat pump I had installed in my new manufactured home under the Oregon Energy Trust Incentive Program. Excellent communication, prompt, professional, well qualified, great follow up, and even did all the paperwork for the $4k immediate credit through the energy trust. Just a great experience all around. I highly recommend Columbia Heating and Cooling and would work with them again.

Backstory: I have a really old home (1907) and have been living with a gas furnace that I'm not even sure how old it is. Anyways, it started failing and doing this odd clicking thing and generally wasn't keeping us consistently warm anymore. We called up Columbia Heating & Cooling because they were the name on the Furnace and they came out right away.

First, we had Corbin come out and take a look. He identified that there was definitely a problem with the unit and gave a quote but was also very forthcoming about the fact that replacing that part might also uncover other things that are wrong. I got a fast, same day, no nonsense quote from that experience.

I then decided maybe I'd want to just replace the whole system based on the quote I got so they sent out another representative, Jamal, to come and look at our current system and give us an estimate for replacement. That replacement quote came out quite reasonable and we decided to push for a replacement. Jamal was very professional and an excellent salesman, helping inform me of all my options and making sure I had all the information.

They managed to sneak my installation in so quickly that it hit before the new year, meaning I could take advantage of a federal tax credit for a higher efficiency unit. They were super informative about the whole thing and very helpful when making those sorts of decisions.

On the day of my service, we had Roberto, Steven, and Falcon took care of the install. They were professional and the service was done quicker than I expected.

One more compliment I'll throw their way. As a female homeowner, I have almost ALWAYS gotten skepticism about whether or not I'm actually the homeowner. Usually I'll get questions about whether or not my boyfriend/husband/male counterpart was there or needed to sign or something else like that. Except for a very routine question at the beginning about whether or not I was the homeowner, they never once questioned it and generally made me feel good about being the sole decision maker in this replacement. So thank you for that!

We have worked with Columbia NW Heating for maintenance on the heat pump in our condo for several years. Now that we are in a house, I continue to call them for maintenance on our furnace. We did let it lapse for a couple of years and when our new smart thermostat kept cycling, it was time to get a professional in. Brian F determined that the furnace needed a thorough cleaning and everything is now working as it should. More recently, Robin C came out to assess the need for a new capacitor as an earlier assessment showed end of life. She determined that it was not necessary. I had already accepted the repair estimate so I really appreciated her honesty and enhances my trust in Columbia NW.

Our 25 year old gas furnace finally gave out, so we knew we would need a new system. We went without heat gor a full week, in order to get replacement bids from 5 companies. Columbia came in with a super price, top quality Carrier replacement system, superior installation crew and project manager, and, completed the work on time! We didn’t have to cut corners, even on our limited budget, and are completely satisfied! Highly recommend Columbia for anyone needing such services…
