Great quick and accurate service for a furnace issue. Chris was great.

Called at 8am, showed up at 1030am (on time) and was fixed and running again by 1050am.

We’ve used Anctil for 30 years. They are thorough and professional. The associates who do maintenance on our heating and cooling systems are top-notch. They are very responsive if a problem with our HVAC systems crop up. We recommend them 100%. They also installed and maintain our gas fireplace insert, which has been a godsend because we are able to use less gas for the “whole house” and heat the living room for most of the day.

Called Anctil for a second opinion after a wacky experience with Apollo plumbing/heating/air. Had some plumbing work done by Apollo and my wife signed up for a "maintenance" program with them to get a discount on the bill. The identified catastrophic furnace issues where repair would cost more than a new furnace. They sent diamond and platinum level quotes for high end new furnace, new AC, new filtration, new thermostat up to $18,000 in cost (after the $1,000 member discount). Anctil looked it over said its got a few years left in it. But pulled out the shaggy dog-hair covered pre-filter Apollo overlooked and said the furnace would run a lot better without the shag rug blocking airflow. Stick with Anctil for honest service/repairs

We called Anctil to diagnose and fix our Carrier furnace which broke down during a cold weather snap. We were fortunate to work with Drew, a very experienced tech. He methodically narrowed down the problem to the failed part, ordered it, and came back the following day to install the new part. While we waited for the part to arrive the next day, he even put an interim fix to get us through the wait. Now that’s customer service! Great experience working with Anctil and Drew.

The technician (sorry, I forget his name) called to give an ETA, was very professional and courteous and patient to listen to my explanations of the problem.

He seemed clearly adept at the evaluating and fixing the problems with my furnace.

Great communication at each stage of work, and even when purchasing the needed items in Vancouver, and when heading back to my house to do the work.

Even though the job ended up being a little more than $800, The price seemed reasonable for the parts and hours involved.

I also very much appreciated the technician wearing those little socks over the shoes to not track in anything from the outside.

Overall, very excellent care. Honest and safe, thorough and respectful. I will hire again for sure. Money really matters, And especially these days. I have absolutely nothing of concern to say. I’ve definitely had Other trades people for electrical or plumbing Work That have caused me a variety of complaints. I’m old school and expect Good customer service.
I highly recommend! I’m glad to support a smaller family run business instead of something corporate.

***UPDATE: After posting this review, the Anctil folks called me and sent out their service manager to resolve the issue (he was great). Thus, I'm updating my review to three stars (averaging out the five star service I got after posting a one star review)***

I have been very frustrated with the customer service, professionalism and responsiveness of Anctil Heating & Cooling. I have had an ongoing, seemingly undiagnosable problem with my (10 yr old- i.e. not that old) furnace (that was installed by their company) for over four months. Their service manager has been slow to call me back (waiting 4+ days for a call back and/or having to follow up with repeated calls myself) and their technicians- while friendly enough, have replaced multiple parts (to the tune of $1400+) as they've made "guesses" as to what is wrong. I have sent multiple videos of the issue and documented each time the furnace has overheated and shut down and the issue is still unresolved. I am not someone who is often (if ever) compelled to write a negative review, but I have been so disappointed with Anctil, and thus wanted to warn others in the market for HVAC service providers.

In early 2020, Anctil Heating & Cooling replaced our very old furnace with a new Carrier Infinity model. Everything went well, and we've been warm and cozy since. Until last week when the furnace started faulting. A call this morning to Anctil Heating & Cooling led to a tech arriving a few hours later and fixing the problem quickly. Several stink bugs had managed to block a small drain. The tech took care of that quickly. Then she cleaned a sensor and lowered the gas pressure when she found it was too high. In all, the visit was quick, efficient, friendly, and effective. I'm a happy customer.

We hired Anctil to replace our furnace and not only is the new furnace great, the expertise, service and communication was outstanding. From start to finish we were kept aware of timelines and install process details. The team had to do quite a bit of problem solving once the install began and they came up with the desired solution even though it took an extra day. Cannot thank them enough for their quality and service! Will always go back to them for future projects.

Had Comfort install a new HVAC in my prior home for years ago and they did a wonderful job at a competitive price. So, when we bought a new home I called them to install a new HVAC there as well!

I've been using another company for years to service and repair our two heating systems. I couldn't get a service call for two and a half weeks, so I called Comfort Heating. Good move on my part. Even though I was a new customer they were here in two days to repair and service my heating systems. They were prompt, fast and professional. If you would like this kind of service give them a call.

I called with a furnace issue at 4PM on a Friday and they still had a tech show up before they went home for the weekend. Problem could not be resolved due the part needed to repair so they left two space heaters that I could use for the weekend. We did not "freeze" and Comfort came back early on Monday for final repairs. I HIGHLY recommend this company for heating and cooling needs. I know who I am going to call from now on. We were so impressed by the professionalism and kindness from Comfort. We were in a bind with our furnace giving out during a cold snap and they were one of the few locations to call us back and auctioned service as soon as 24 hours after our call. The service was polite, professional, helpful and friendly. He took the proper precautions in these times and took time to answer my questions. Charlie and his team were fantastic to work with, quick to come out and give us a quote. Explained everything about our new system. Julie in the office scheduled us quickly. On the day of install, the team was here on time and set up the system flawlessly. They even took the time to thoroughly go through the new thermostat they installed and showed us how to change things it needed. Great company to work with!

Response to company below: The leak was not due to a clogged condensation line. It was due to their failure to glue a PVC joint at installation. It seems they are STILL trying to blame me rather than accept any responsibility.

After thinking it over for a long time - I finally decided to do a review. CHC installed my heat pump unit in 2012. I considered alot of bids, and was ultimately the most happy with theirs. And the system has mostly operated well. So, that's the good part. But long-story-short, there was an error in the installation that eventually caused a leak, even though it was 10+ years later (possibly a bump in the unglued PVC was the cause). Because it was an attic unit, I did not know about the leak until my ceiling turned brown. Despite claiming to have emergency services, CHC would not give me an appointment until 6 days later, while I watched my ceiling start cave in. Communications with staff suggested the problem was my to failure to have units cleaned, etc. even though it was a deducted unit that didn't require that. I found another company who could come out the next day, but there was already $3500 in damage done. I let CHC know about it, but I just received radio silence after that.

Couldn't be happier with my experience with Comfort! Alex created a great estimate, then worked with Jessica to be able to get it installed before a heat wave. Marcus and Johnny did fabulous work getting the new AC system installed. Works like it's supposed to (unlike our old broken system). Thank you!
